Wow is all I can say. I hope this place gets more business because the food is amazing. I rarely go to Vietnamese restaurant because I haven't found a really good restaurant yet besides food from my mom. And I rarely give out 5 stars to Vietnamese restaurant so I highly recommend this one :) Pro tip: if you park in the parking lot, don't pay for parking, go inside the restaurant and scan their parking app for free parking instead! Service was good. The people there are really really nice. They are really proud of their dishes. It's sad that we were the only people in the restaurant at lunch time so it was pretty quiet. Hopefully they get more business during the weekends and other days. I would hate for this one to go out of business because no one knows about them. Food: Signature steak and egg dish -- comes with one baguette, some raw veggies, and pate. Holy crap this was good. I had this dishes at other places before but this is probably the best one. The steak was tender and soft the sauce was nice and balanced. Everything went well together. But the star was the banh mi bread. That was probably one of the best banh mi bread I ever tasted. We had to order one more just because it was sooo good (extra $2). Pan fried pho noodle with seafood (pho ap chao) --- pretty good, not as flavorful as the steak and egg though. But it's nice that it still goes well with siracha and hoisin sauce similar to pho. Plenty of seafood and veggies too. Overall, I would come back for sure. This place is a gem!

Loved that they had complimentary parking! Was able to get a table right away during lunch hours. Ordered the signature dish which came with fresh French bread and veggies. The flavors were amazing. Bright and clean restaurant with lots of seating. Complimentary Costco water bottles.

Great food great service. Staff were attentive and welcoming! My parents enjoyed their Bo ne which is what this restaurant specializes in.

Food - The portions looked small and we left surprisingly full! We got the wagyu rice plate, and it was nice and flavorful. Also got the egg rolls and they were tasty, just a small portion Service - Fast and friendly service. Felt very home-y. Ambiance - Nice natural lighting during the day. The booths are nice and there is usually some light music playing

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch over the weekend and had a very positive experience. Their staff is very friendly. It's also great that they validate parking in the parking lot, because parking is difficult to find in this area. I ordered the bo ne while my boyfriend got their grilled chicken rice. The bo ne was very flavorful and tasty. However, the fat on the beef needed to be rendered down more because it made the beef chewy. I didn't think the beef was very impressive even though it's touted to be wagyu. The grilled chicken rice was flavored well. However, as you can see from my picture, the chicken portion is quite small. This dish would be better if they added an extra 1/2 portion of chicken to accompany the rice.

The food here was very good! It came out pretty quickly and they have an entire vegan menu, which is great. The servers were very kind and I thought the price was pretty reasonable for portion size with the soup. The inside of the restaurant was cozy and clean, though one of the TVs had Fox on, which was not necessarily my cup of tea. The entrance is on the side, not the front. I would definitely eat here or order from here again.

My family and I have been wanting to try Bo Ne House and More for a few weeks since they opened, and we finally made it there yesterday. I ordered the Bo Ne Wagyu, Banh Bot Chien, and an avocado smoothie. The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and they checked in often. Parking is also convenient with 2 hours free when you scan the code inside. As for the food, the Bo Ne was okay. I personally don't think it's worth $22, as the beef didn't really look or taste like wagyu, it was pretty thin, less than an inch thick. The pâté was just alright, but I did enjoy the sauce on the Bo Ne, which was flavorful and tied the dish together nicely. The plate came with a side salad with no dressing, which was a little odd since most places serve it with at least some kind of sauce or vinaigrette. The avocado smoothie was also bland, even after I asked for extra sweetness. Overall, I think this place is okay, but a bit overpriced for what you get. The service and presentation are nice, but the food itself didn't quite meet expectations.

I received a message from the establishment. They apologized but I think their apology was meant for someone else, since they mentioned providing a compliment plate of bot chien (fried rice cake). For certain, my husband and I did not receive anything complementary and we paid full price for all the items including a tip. If anything you all forgot half of our orders and we had to remind the server about it twice. We understand it was a soft opening but my goodness you are so far from ready to run a business like a business. We also saw how you gave special treatment to the Instagram guy vs the rest of the other customers, since there were other tables with service issues around our table as well.

I came here on a cold rainy evening to try some delicious bo ne with a friend! We were worried about finding parking in Little Saigon but luckily they have free two hour parking available right in front of their restaurant! The service was so friendly and quick which I loved! We got the bo ne, banh mi, pho, and bun Bo hue which were all delightful and seasoned perfectly! I was such a big fan of their bo ne though which was addicting and savory especially with the crunchy banh mi! I would definitely go back again for the friendly service and delicious homey Vietnamese food!

Wow! Amazing food and customer service. Very attentive and fast. Everything ordered was delicious. The Bo ne was the best I've had since Vietnam, Bo kho actually tastes like Bo kho- meat was also pretty tender, and bot chien has a nice crisp to them. Highly recommend this place!

    Sizzling Wagyu Steak & Egg ( aka B N)

It's been a while since I visited, but when I went near their initial opening, my friends and I each got the sizzling beef egg and pate plate, but was told they were out of the regular steak so we opted for the wagyu for additional few dollars. I believe they now just offer the wagyu option. It came with fresh veggies on the side and a yummy crispy baguette. I think the beef was on the thinner end and slightly salty but it was still pretty good. They were super busy but had many tables so it's not that long of a wait either way. I'd like to come back and try some of their other menu items!

If you go to a place called Bò Né House, then you have to get their signature dish. The bò né here is one of the best I've had - the meat is tender, the egg is perfectly runny and the bánh mì is crispy. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely eat here again. Staff was friendly and attentive, and this place seems to be family-run, so support your local business.

Lots of potential, just needs work on both service and overall food quality. This is a newly opened restaurant at Little Saigon in Chinatown that took the place of a Vietnamese vegan cuisine place, not too far from The Boat, Pho Bac Sup Shop and Pho So 1. There's parking in the parking lot right outside the restaurant but it's paid... unless you know to validate it inside the restaurant according to some Yelpers. Otherwise, street parking along S Jackson St works too if you wanna be walking distance from here. Inside is a lot bigger than what you see outside: there's plenty of tables and booths that seat four or more. It'll get very noisy and a little stuffy inside especially when crowded like for this visit. Place does feel a little unsanitary with the tables and seats, and with the food too which I'll get to later. My friend and I came here on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm, and got seated fast though it did become a full house throughout our 1.5 hour visit. There are QR codes near the tables you can use to get the menu, and servers take your order after a little while. I'll start off by saying the food quality varied here: - My friend and I each got their bò né (sizzling beef, egg & pate), which came with wagyu beef (since they were out of regular beef), a fried egg, veggies (tomato, cucumber, romaine lettuce, julienned veggies) and a crispy baguette. There was a ton of sauce in mine and it almost covered every topping inside, while my friend's had much less sauce than mine. Quality of the meats could have been better too though it was very tender and the sauce marinated the meat well. I would prefer the bò né served at Xom in Cap Hill and Soufend in Beacon Hill for now. - Things got better when we got their bột chiên (crispy rice cakes). These are fried rice cakes cooked with eggs along with some sprinkled green onions on top. Neither of us have ever really seen anything like this before in any Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle, so we had to get this and it was delicious! Eggs and green onions already pair very well, but it gets better when you get a rice cake that's fried, crispy and appropriately flavored too. Add their provided soy sauce and sriracha or Chin-su sauces for best results. This dish is enough to share among a group of four or less. Things started getting rough when it came to service. Overall it was quite slow and we noticed a couple of things: - The biggest problem was when my friend found two pieces of hair in his bò né skillet the first time. Servers remade his dish, which took less than 15 minutes but while other orders of the same dish were being brought out. This did negatively affect his experience, though, and he felt the beef was also overcooked. - We had to flag down servers more than once to check whether our crispy rice cakes were coming, since we were actually both finished with our bò né already. Same went for asking for my friend's remade bò né. Good part is that the rice cakes came out piping hot. - My friend noticed that there were one or two tables near us that seemed to be waiting for their food - for nearly the whole 1.5 hours that we stayed there. They came in after us too, and only had drinks at their table. We noticed them looking back and forth at the servers quickly bringing out food for other patrons. - Servers overall seemed disorganized, bringing out mostly their bò né for tables and dishing out food quite slowly. People constantly kept coming in and filling tables since it was peak hours for dinnertime, so that didn't help too much either. I actually really loved the food here and want to try some of their other things regardless of the sporadically iffy service. They're still in their soft opening for a little over a month (since August 8), so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and find another time to eat here again and retry their bò né, since that's what they're known for.

Lorenzo opened Paseo in 1994, where his popular Cuban roast pork sandwiches were regarded as among the best in the country. After years of local expansion, Paseo abruptly filed for bankruptcy in 2014. The brand was subsequently bought out by a local entrepreneur, but the sale did not include Paseo's secret recipes (the reboot attempted to reverse engineer the sandwiches with varying success). So, in 2015, Lorenzo's sons revived Paseo under a new name, Un Bien, armed with their father's original recipes. Nowadays, Un Bien is generally regarded as superior to Paseo, and you can grab their Caribbean sandos at one of the three locations across Seattle. You can't miss the pastel pink-and-teal palette of the original shack on an otherwise drab block of Ballard. As you approach the wooden window, you are greeted by the aroma of sauteed meats and veggies. Communal laquered wood benches are lined up underneath a covered pergola. Fifties hits ring respectfully around the kitchen. My partner and I visited for late weekday lunch, and we ordered immediately. We opted to focus on the signature pork shoulder, so we split the #1 Caribbean Roast and #2 The Press. Across both sandwiches, we were impressed by the tender pork, rich onions, lemon-forward aioli, and marinade-soaked baguette. The standard roast pork sandwich added on pickled jalapenos and crisp romaine, culminating in a dynamic flavor that accentuated the meat. Meanwhile, The Press featured tart banana peppers, smoked ham, and melty Swiss, amping up the sweet and savory flavors alike; we agreed that this extra-messy sandwich just edged out the standard version. Our order took just minutes to be prepared, and the bill just topped $30. Despite the fanfare, I still found myself surprised by just how satisfying Un Bien's sandwiches turned out to be. Across all the food I ate in Seattle, only these pork sandwiches would be worth a return visit, even if I had to venture out of my way.

We ordered promptly, but were told we would only have about 10 minutes to use the seating area before it closed. When we asked for clarification because the restaurant was advertised as being open until 9:00 PM, staff confirmed they were open until then but said the seating area would close earlier anyway. After receiving our food, we were told not to sit down and were asked to leave the seating area altogether. The interaction felt abrupt and discourteous, especially given that we had arrived well before closing and had purchased food with the expectation that we could eat on-site. The food itself was average, but the poor customer service and inconsistent messaging about seating left a much stronger impression than the meal. There are other better places. Skip.

It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby. While there isn't anything wildly unique going on at Big Mike's, they are still pushing out great sandwiches at reasonable prices with a no-frills ordering process.

The only drawback was the price--at around $20 per sandwich, it felt a bit expensive for what you get, especially considering it was just a 6-inch sub, even though the quality was good. We visited during a FIFA World Cup match, so the line was quite long, but it moved steadily and efficiently. No complaints there.
