Just want to start by saying I love Board & Brew. I lived in North County San Diego for years and ate there very often. The service at this particular location is what earns the one star. We stood waiting to be acknowledged for 5+ minutes watching the three girls behind the counter talk. The AC must've been broken because it was 92 degrees in there, so I get it - it's hot! But employees shouldn't have attitude towards customers and make them feel like we're inconveniencing them. I was so excited for there to finally be a Board & Brew in Temecula! But was SOOOOOOO disappointed in the service today. My group ordered our food fairly quickly but it took about forever before they called out everyone's name. After 20 minutes of waiting two members of our group were notified that it would take an additional 30 minutes because Board and Brew ran out of sourdough bread. They switched to another bread so they wouldn't have to wait so long, and after 15 minutes they had one of the sandwiches ready. We waited another 10 minutes for the last sandwich to be ready before we went in and asked about it. The lady at the counter had no idea what we were talking about! They retook the order and made the sandwich, but offered no compensation for our lost time and poor customer service. Not to mention two cooks in the back were not wearing masks, and all the customers were able to see due to the open kitchen! I have been to this place twice now and the main reason I come is for the sauce... it is delicious especially with the molasses bread. I would love to give this place more stars but my god the young girls who work the front are TERRIBLE!! SUCH A BAD ATTITUDE! We were going to go out to eat at a sit down restaurant but then I remembered Board & Brew opened up in town. I'm so glad we decided to grab sandwiches instead! They have $3 pints the month of October, so that made the husband happy. I ordered the roast beef spicy, and he got the pastrami. My sandwich was so good! The spice level from the jalapeños was on point and the au jus dip was perfect. We both ate our sandwiches so fast. I ordered potato salad as a side, but when I got home I noticed it wasn't in the bag. I called right away and they let me know I could come back next time and get it. I'm cool with that. So glad we tried this. My husband and our son have celiac disease and have a hard time eating places because they are allergic to gluten. We order sandwiches with the gluten free wrap and they love it! Never have had an issue with cross contamination and the wraps are so good. I usually get different sandwiches each time with their freshly baked sourdough bread. If you use their app you can order ahead of time and pay for it. This makes it convenient because you can order and pay from home and walk right in and grab your order. I recommend this place and we will be back again. read more

I am giving them one star because of the shift lead AJ working during my visit. I overheard him being disrespectful to the other employees and was rude when I spoke to him. So glad to have this place in Temecula! We went yesterday for the first time and it was awesome. The were very respectful of covid restrictions and we felt super safe dining on their outdoor patio. Really good. Tried the southwest chicken. Love that the jalapeños they used were not pickled. Pickled sometimes dominate the flavor. They were grilled instead which paired better with the grilled chicken. Not spicy at all but had great flavor. Thin grilled Chicken and bread was toasted and not too dense. It was great. They also have beers on tap and a seltzer. Their side is chips or potato salad. Potato salad is really good. Not the typical sweet store one. You can taste the dill and mustard. When i arrive i pay, wait about 5-10 and decide to ask if my order is almost ready.
