    Soup and salad combo

Not sure why I forget about Bob Evans for breakfast. It's the basics, homemade biscuits and it feels like you are eating with family. I people watch whenever I go out. The table next to us was a man and his mother and father. They said grace before their meal and I looked around at the families laughing and talking and realized this is what breakfast should be. Homemade food , people sharing a meal , conversation and most importantly time together. I had homemade potato soup and half a cranberry chicken salad. You can do half a salad or sandwich with soup at a great price. My husband had a sausage omelette. We also had the blue ribbon bacon which is bacon with syrup and crushed pepper.Service was fast and friendly, baked goods to go at the register if you are interested. If you want a taste of Americana, the feel of family and what breakfast should be, this is it. No scanning bar codes for a menu, no fancy mocha drinks with 4 thousand calories, just breakfast as you remember it as a kid. And sometimes that is pretty perfect.

Since living in northern Virginia I've always heard good things about this place. I've always heard that they had done of the best breakfast and I must say, I agree! I was was really happy and surprised when I seen that this place was in Florida I had to try it out for my self. First, impression was, I like the atmosphere! It felt like Denny's but next level, the food was so good as you can se in the pictures. The Cinn bun things were sooooo gooood!!! I'm super glad that I tried them. I wouldn't mind coming back, I paid $26 for two people. I'm one person who isn't a huge fan of breakfast so when I am in a mood for it than I like to choose my places wisely because I know for a fact that I won't be disappointed. This place is most definitely on my list of places to try again.

Great for breakfast. This place was crazy busy even at 10 am. Love their fresh biscuits! Chose their mini sampler with one egg, well done bacon and home fries. They delivered hash browns instead but gave me a plate of home fries when I point it out in addition! Price was right! $5.99 Will certainly be back.

The staff is super friendly, the food is always good (especially for the price), and it's just a great place to grab breakfast in the morning. Personally I love their sausage and gravy biscuits. We also really enjoy the farmers choice and always have some to bring home because it is so much food!

Seeing how much I love breakfast its breakfast all the way when I visit Bobby Evans. This location is within my 2 mile bubble and I always ask for Danielle; she is PROficient, remembers what I like to drink and pretty much what I like to eat. Now, I don't come in weekly, more like twice a month and for her to remember moi... Says a heck of a lot! Yes, it's a chain but I keep it simple and easy. I like 3 egg whites scrambles, bacon crispy and dry, toast and sometimes tomato slices (today I opted for no tomatoes). Danielle knows I like the "breakfast blend" coffee and brings that with a large water & lemon...no questions. I know, some of you might think it's not hard to get a good breakfast out but I would disagree. My egg whites are always cooked perfect, not runny and not burned up dry. The perfect piggy strips are always crisp and never greasy. I have been to many places that breakfast was just an after thought and comes out slopped onto the plate..no thank you. So, if your like me and you like breakfast ANY time of the day please stop by Bob Evans on Cypress Lake / 41 in the COSTCO shopping plaza. Ask for Danielle, she'll serve you with a smile!

Breakfast was average, home fries lacking flavor, very bland. Server was friendly & attentive, prices were average.

We're not elderly but the music (inside) was a notch too loud. Made it hard to hear the waiter and talking amongst ourselves was annoying. It wasn't "fun loud" - just annoying. Side notes - the booth spelled bad. Like someone had wet themselves. Might be the material. Was gross. Almost left right away. Inside was weirdly humid too. I get we are in Florida but other restaurants seem to have figured it out. Probably won't be back.

It's sports themed through and through with a special emphasis decor wise on baseball. The parking lot was pretty full right outside the restaurant which is on the first floor of the Double Tree hotel with its own separate entrance. Inside, it was half full which was surprising as it was early. The bar was pretty busy, too -- with a few loud drunk guys talking a bit too loudly. Annoyingly so. The kids had pizza from the children's menu. One of the kids (with allergies) had grilled salmon. Two of the adults had the fire cracker shrimp appetizer (including me). It had a slight kick. The breaded shrimp were slathered in sauce which I scraped off a bit. But the shrimp were good. The other adult had the burger sliders appetizer. He said they were good with plenty of grilled onions. Price wise, it wasn't too bad. The server nicely explained which drinks came with refills and which did not. That was helpful. And she provided crayons and a coloring activity page to keep the kids busy. We wouldn't normally come to a hotel restaurant unless we were staying nearby. But if you have a kid into baseball, they would like the decor, the photos, and all the TVs showing sports.

What makes Mango Rita's so special is the incredible lineup of tribute bands they bring in every week. If you grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s like we did, this place is a dream. We've seen amazing tributes to bands like KISS, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and more--and the quality of the bands is outstanding. In fact, the shows are so good that we sometimes plan our trips to Fort Myers around which bands are playing! Beyond the music, the atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd always seems to be having a great time. It's one of those places where everyone is there to enjoy the music and have fun. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, J.J. and her husband, and hearing their story. They previously owned one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast in Maryland before bringing their passion for live music to Fort Myers Beach. After Hurricane Ian destroyed their original location, they rebuilt their vision further inland--and we're so glad they did. They're a wonderful couple and you can tell how much heart they put into this place. If you love live music, especially classic rock and iconic bands, Mango Rita's Rhythm Room is an absolute must-visit. We look forward to every show and can't wait for many more nights of great music there!

I also really enjoyed their roasted baby potatoes, they were quite flavorful. There was an omelet and waffle station and on the buffet, they had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits with gravy.
