There was crispy bacon crumbled on top; I did not care for the bacon. The soup was odd to me as I was eating it. Because of the texture, it reminded me of corn chowder. There was a little spice/flavor from the jalapeño. What was odd to me, was it didn't wow me like I thought it would, but I kept eating it. It was fairly busy when we went on a Saturday mid afternoon. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere and decor reminds me quite a bit of Cheddars. When we sat down, there was some kind of an annoying and audible hum coming from the ceiling. It would randomly go on and off. Our server told us that it had to do with their sound/speaker system. The place had a fairly high noise level anyway, along with the music that they were playing. Our server was very friendly and helpful in navigating the menu and answering questions. She went above and beyond being highly attentive in keeping up with all of her tables. The food was above par and very good, quality and quantity wise. We tried a few chicken entrees and they were great. The fried mushrooms were super good. I noticed somebody in the Yelp reviews compared them to Chili's. My opinion is that there is no comparison.
