On a recent visit to the Greenfield area, my boyfriend and I were looking for a filling breakfast. We live in Fort Wayne, where the closest Waffle House is miles away. I was really craving some Waffle House fare, so we decided to drop in for our meal. My waffle with sugar-free syrup (thank you for offering this!) was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have been happier with the flavor, texture, and temperature. Our server was very attentive and fast in bringing out our food. In fact, it reminded me of my years growing up in North Carolina, where Waffle Houses are plentiful. My boyfriend's hash brown dish was very filling and he walked away pretty happy. We can't wait to come back to Greenfield just to visit WH again! read more

I was craving hash browns this morning, so I searched for the Waffle House location closest to my work assignment. Super friendly customer service here. The dining area, food prep area and grill were all very clean. I placed an order inside the restaurant to carry out, and it was ready quickly. My eggs and hash browns were perfectly cooked and served fresh and hot off the grill, which is my favorite thing about Waffle House. And absolutely no one does hash browns like Waffle House. Ok ok ok!!!! Been to A LOT of Waffle Houses and this one is by far one of the BEST and Tammie AWESOME!!!!! As always. Fast and on point and always fresh. Good vibes and very friendly peeps! Locals were AWESOME in fact! I want to say THANK YOU AGAIN to the local gentlemen who took care of my bill. He noticed my Navy hat and thanked me for my service and then paid for my tables breakfast!!!! Small kindness to in this world WORKS!!! Today is our anniversary and we wanted to start our day with breakfast somewhere new. The bacon was crisp and flavorful, the eggs were perfect, the hash browns delicious, and the waffle was amazing! I was impressed to find they have mixed fruit jelly. Our server was so friendly and upbeat. She went above and beyond when I told her it was a hard choice between white or raisin toast. I decided on white but she asked them for half white and half raisin. She really made my day! This was an outstanding way to kick off our anniversary! We will definitely go back! read more

This is probably THE best Waffle House I have ever been too. Excellent service, friendly to everyone, clean, great food, friendly clientele. Creative manager's specials. Great touch tunes juke box and plenty of regulars that pop in just for coffee. The conversations that surrounded me were truly the best of small town America. We used to go to Waffle House on a regular basis. COVID-19 came, and we got out of going out to eat. We went to Waffle House today. It wasn't real busy. The service was great. Food was great. It was the kind of service you would expect from a high end restaurant. Glad we went and we will be back! read more

Stopped in for breakfast on our way beck to Columbus from Indianapolis. This is hands down one of the best Waffles houses we have been to. The place is super clean and the staff is some of the nicest people you will meet. The food was insanely quick and hot and tasted perfect. We will probably stop by again on our next trip out that way. read more

1st let me say waitress Amanda you rock..waffle house is lucky to have you. Arrived after 1 a.m. after the big 10 play offs at lucas oil arena..place was packed...thats where amanda super waitress emerged.worked quickly efficiently to serve cutomers,help cook,clean tables,cashier...was so amazed she stayed calm cutting no corners with all the customers.even took the time to send us on our tired way with to go beverages...food was good hot .. WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EVER!!! Let me start by saying I have eaten at this location before and it was not bad. Our visit tonight however was a different story. We started off by ordering 2 cups of coffee and 4 waters. The kid waiting on us seemed confused because my kids were in the restroom washing their hands and not visible. He then brought us old cold coffee. I had to asked another server for straws. When we ordered food I began to order the all star special. I order my eggs over easy. He replies "do you want the whites done?" I repeated that I would like them over easy. He stated "I have to yell and order them like over medium or over light". I reply well then over light, it's the same thing. He brought us the check before the food. When the food arrived he sat it down and walked away. He then proceeded to go to the other side of the restaurant to do whatever he was doing. I had to ask someone else for some more fresh coffee. After we were finished eating he came to ask if everything was ok. I told him the grits that my daughter ordered were awful. He asked did we want different ones. Obviously not they are bad and we are finished eating. I tried to hand him some of the plates and he replied that he just came to check on us not take the plates. That he was getting ready to clock out and we were his last table of the night. The part that took the cake however, was as we were getting up we watched a bug scatter across the floor in the kitchen area. Do not eat here!!!! read more

This is a very clean restaurant and we were seriously impressed with our server Donna. She was on top of everything we needed and stayed in good touch with us. She timed everything well too. All four of us really liked our food, too. It was truly the best tasting bacon I've had in a very long time. They have a cool jukebox too, which I've always had fun with every time we got to a Waffle House across the country. The service was horrible. It took forever to get ordered. The lady was very very rude and mixed up a lot of stuff and blamed it on me and my group. At the end, she tried to give us a speech about how it is "mandatory to tip at a sit down restaurant." After my friend did not tip her she said "I remember faces." read more

Food is fine, but service needs help. Walk in and the very bland girl says they're "take out only". Asked why, she nearly rolled her eyes and said she didn't really know, something about a competition. She never made eye contact nor smiled the whole time we waited for food, cook was equally lacking in personality. The employees definitely need to learn how customer service works, that may explain little or no tips. read more

This Waffle House is by far the best one I've ever been to. The staff does a great job making you feel at home every time you come in. The manager is one of the greatest guys they could have run this branch. My meal is always made fresh and warm. Stephanie and Heather also do a great job making sure you're taken care of. Our server, Tammie was awesome. She was sweet, professional and attentive. Food was very good and came out SO fast! However seeing the young man cooking the bacon (I believe his name tag said Zack) take a piece and shove it in his mouth with his gloves on and touch his mouth with his gloves then go back to cooking was a little disturbing. read more

I've been a regular at this Waffle House for the last 2 years, going in usually 2-3 times a week. While occasionally I get a less good server, they never stick around long, and the ones that do are superb. The cooks are all excellent, and if you ever want to have some of the best short-order food you've ever tasted, go in when Chris is cooking. The man loves cooking, and is possibly the best restaurant cook in Greenfield. Want to try something weird? He'll make it for you. read more

We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!

It was topped with fresh avocado and pico de gallo, with just the right amount of queso. The chipotle sauce served on the side added a perfect finishing touch and brought all the flavors together beautifully. To end the meal, I had a brownie with ice cream for dessert, which was equally satisfying. Overall, it was a delicious dining experience from start to finish.
