We had to wait for our table to be cleaned and there were many other people where the same happened. The table behind us, something was dripping from the ceiling. The food was very slow. When it came out the portions were very small. It didn't taste bad, but it didn't necessarily taste worth the money. This was not the Bob Evan's I remember!! One thing that is good about chain restaurants is that they are consistent. There wasn't anything exceptionally good or bad about this experience, it was just consistent with other Bob Evans experiences in the past. My mom picked this spot as an easy place to meet for breakfast/brunch. We met at 10 AM. It was not overly busy and we were seated quickly. My mom ordered the "Everything breakfast skillet" and she enjoyed it. I ordered the "Wildfire Chicken Salad" and was really happy to see that this entree was available as a smaller portion for a lower price. The big advantages and reasons to choose Bob Evans are: 1. They have a big menu and you can order anything on the menu at any time. 2. They offer smaller portion size with a reduced price on many menu items. I usually love bob Evans but this most recent visit was truly awful. It took awhile for our drink orders to be taken. The food also took at least 45 minutes to get our food. Chicken, a sandwich, and a simple breakfast platter should not take that long, especially when half of the restaurant is empty. Our food was brought to us by the manager finally and not once did our waitress check on us. She kept walking past us and didn't make eye contact or say that she would get us our check. We then waited over 30 minutes for our check, in which we personally had to go up to the counter to pay. Pretty sure two stars is too kind for my experience here today. We were seated and our waitress took our order pretty quickly, it all went downhill from there. Time ticked by and we hadn't seen her in forever, and realized that our food that was ordered 45 minutes ago still hadn't showed up. I flagged another server as she walked by, and asked if she could send our server over. She told us that our server had quit and walked out, and that she was sorry but she'd try to help us. A few minutes later she appeared with our food that had clearly been sitting h set the warmer for a very long time. Cold breakfast scramble, cold bacon, and cold French toast with sliced banana on top that were already brown from sitting out so long. At that point we sent our food back and the manager came out. He was very kind and apologetic, and offered to comp our meal. He also let us know that after our server walked out, that he had asked the other server to cover our table....the same one that I flagged down at first, that had been walking by us multiple times and hadn't said a word! At this point we just let my niece finish her food and we left. I appreciate the manager's attempt at righting this situation, but seriously the entire experience was enough to solidify my decision to never come back here. read more

My good tastes like it has been under a heat lamp for 40 minutes. This has been the second time in 10 days that the service has been just BAD. I use to enjoy eating at Bob Evens but will not be coming back to this one. According to the employees the manager can not get the schedule correct.
