Went her after church one morning with my wife and a friend. Had a very nice breakfast with very nice wait staff. I got the Farmers choice breakfast. 2 eggs, 3 pancakes and hash browns and sausage. This was a good morning and a good breakfast but the only reason it only gets 4 stars from me is my hash browns didn't have very much taste. Everything else is wonderful though If I were to recommend to someone, I would say to choose the home fries over the hashbrowns! read more

Food is expensive and doesn't taste good. The service is terrible. There is no variety of foods. They are not allergy friendly.

Did a curbside order. After waiting in my car for 7 minutes past the pickup time, I went inside the restaurant. My meal had been sitting on the counter top. I asked if they did curbside and was told by an employee they couldn't see my car, What? My car was parked in one of the carryout/curbside parking spaces, which is in view of the staff that handle the carryouts and curbside deliveries. There were no other cars parked in the area, so my car was pretty obvious. Either I was lied to or the employee couldn't be bothered to look out the window for a curbside pickup. BTW, the order pickup time was well before any dinner rush, so it's not like they were preoccupied handling other customers. I don't appreciate that I tipped for curbside delivery service and was treated innappropriately. read more

Stopped by for breakfast and was extremely happy with this. We arrived and were greeted. Sat down right away and our server came by to take our drink orders. She was very attentive and took our food order. It arrived and was served hot and fresh. She had our refills ready. Everything was great from start to finish. Some waitresses have that knack, that preternatural ability to give their patrons just enough attention without being overbearing. This Bob Evans apparently employs such people, so chalk up a few points in this place's favor. The food was decent...not great. It's reasonably priced, which in these fell days of hyperinflation is not a boon to be so readily dismissed. The country music twangs long and strong over the loudspeakers, so if that's your thing come here for a hoe-down. I can hardly say that the whole experience was unpleasant, though - if you need a bite to eat you could sure do a whole lot worse. read more

The 2 people I was joining for dinner both wanted a good Turkey meal. So, Bob Evans was the choice. The restaurant was clean, the wait to be seated was a while (even though we were the only ones in line). Once seated, we ordered and both Turkey dinner were exactly as they wanted. I order grill chicken, fries, corn; and as soon as the waitress placed my meal down I mentioned to her the numerous black chucks on the fries & on the plate, & I turned over the chicken to show her that the chicken was not burnt-she said ok. Tasted the corn, brownish and old. Fries cleaned off black chips ok. Chicken ok. When decided to pay bill, lady ask if everything was ok, and I said only mine was questionable. She apologized & made right immediately. I was pleasantly shock by how professional she was, because I just wanted no one else that day to have that corn. I had the goat cheese veggie omelette with hash browns and wheat toast. I ordered my food at 6:05am. The toast was done and sitting in the window at 6:10. Food came out at 6:35.... I was the only one in the restaurant. Coffee was decent but I only was allowed one cup until my food showed up apparently. Toast was cold (obviously) omelet had no flavor and hash browns were a weird color and rubbery consistency (I didn't taste). To top it all off the whole time I was in the restaurant the wait staff were all complaining to each other about how horrible the restaurant is that they work at and how they are always running out food. read more

I'm a fan of Bob Evans most of the time. It's a classic country breakfast joint I like to go to, and I have been for years. We went Friday morning around 1030, they weren't too busy. We ordered, and I figured it wouldn't be too long for the food. Wrong. It took at least 45 minutes. There were only two of us. The server (Dianne) was awesome. She apologized for the wait, explained to us that they had a cook call off, and it was getting a little stressful in the kitchen. Understandable. Fact of the matter is, you don't sacrifice time for quality. The quality of the food wasn't great. She offered to comp our check, which wasn't necessary, so we declined. Went to lunch here last Wednesday. My sister and I both had the slow roasted turkey bacon and cheddar sandwich. It looked nothing like the picture. The french fries were cold, the coffee was not fresh. The waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude when I told her the coffee was not fresh. Service was OK at best. I am not sure why we had to keep asking the waitress for refills and napkins you would think that's part of your job. Ordered chicken noodle soup and got chicken ala gummy noodle with no broth. Terrible. I order chicken pot pie and as soon as she put it in it was in the window under the heat lamp for 15 minutes while the other food was prepared. Belly is still flopping and that was 3 hours ago. I just stopped in this Sunday morning at 9:20am. The place didn't look that busy as there were only a dozen cars in the lot. I walked in and was greeted by a very sweaty man not in any type of uniform. I ask to be seated at the counter as I was dining alone. I was told that he couldn't do that until the kitchen was caught up. There was 2 people at the counter which seats 6-8 people. As the sweat was dripping from his nose I made the decision to get out while I still could. Very disappointed in this particular restaurant. I have no intention of returning. The food was great but the service and the coffee left a lot of room for improvement . We took family out for breakfast and were disappointed to say the least the service was slow and the coffee had an old taste to it, I mentioned it to our waitress and she said its always like that. Today we went to Bob Evans and realized they have good and terrible days. Today happened to be a bad one. Today we went in and waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for breakfast. They weren't even packed. My eggs weren't scrambled they were poached and there was a piece of ham in them that I did not order. The bacon was ok and my hash browns were burnt. I wanted to treat my family to dinner, ordered on line, server was not familiar with how to take an order online, but we got thru the order in about 1/2 an hour. Ordered soup and sandwich combo, no soup in take out bag; gravy and biscuits, no gravy or biscuits in bag, so some family members didn't get part of their much anticipated meal. The food was good, but the thing that stuck in my mind was the service. Our waitress was Loretta, and she was phenomenal. Good help is so hard to come by, and she is customer oriented. I just had the worst experience of my life at a Bob Evans restaurant. Our food took FOREVER! When it did come it was horrid, cold eggs, my baby did not get his food until after everyone was almost done. The server was very nice and sweet but the food was not edible. My crepe was a pancake! It wasn't filled the strawberries were nasty, my eggs were not medium they were fried and cold. My sons omelet was cold, his ham was freezing! Thanksgiving dinner was GREAT ! Three of us enjoyed the roast turkey dinner with 3 sides, endless bread and pie. We were seated promptly, our server Billie was cheerful and efficient and the food came very quickly. I think having a limited menu really expedited the service. The food was hot, delicious and generous servings. Billie,anticipating that we would be too full to eat our dessert asked when we ordered it if we might want it packed to take out and she brought it ready to go right away. We were very thankful that the restaurant was open on a holiday when every other restaurant we passed was closed. I understand why businesses and restaurants close so that their employees can be with their families and I appreciate the self-sacrifice these employees made to provide a service to us and the other patrons who were there today. I really wanted to give this restaurant a chance but today's experience was one of the worse ones I had in a while. Dirty silverware, which I asked for clean ones and got another set of dirty silverware which visibly had lettuce or something green on the fork. Then my coffee mug was dirty on the inside, I took one sip and noticed a chunk of dried on chocolate. Our server barely checked on us, our food took over an hour which other tables were getting offered free food or complimentary bread, we didn't even get checked on!!!!
