Find somewhere else to go! The servers are moody, often times disagreeing in front of you. The food sits for so long that the plates come out hot to the touch, and I don't mean warm, I mean hot! Management doesn't care; they are part of the problem as you hear them say, "I don't know" or, "Well, we are not Perkins". I had a late breakfast on 1-23-17 at Bob Evans in Westlake. I ordered two scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. My friend ordered a coffee and a skillet breakfast. The total bill was $17 and change. My order totaled $6.39, a bit overpriced. The eggs were a bit dry but bacon was perfect. Service was good and the cashier was friendly. Women's bathroom needed attention (soap dispenser had visible debris on it and one of the toilets was running and running. This running toilet has been going on for more than a week or two.) I mentioned the condition of the bathroom to an employee today. I hope the bathroom gets more regular and better attention as a trip in there before eating may well put one off one's feed. Friday night with family, this was the perfect option. Great service, good food, and it didn't break our bank. I really the home style setting plus there are so many options to choose from. I love the chicken noodle soup with the really big noodles, plus the salad was actually really good too. My mom loves the blueberry pancakes which are super fluffy. Bob Evans is a great place to have a filling breakfast. I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat while on the Westside and thoroughly enjoyed it. You wouldn't think it was a chain when eating the food. I ate a breakfast of strawberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. It was filling and enjoyable. The restaurant has a feel of an old country restaurant. The servers are very friendly and helpful. There is a little gift shop style area where you can buy books and other various items. The selection is not surprisingly limited. I really enjoyed Bob Evans and I plan on heading back. read more

We live in boston and do not have bob Evans there. We like going when in Orlando. We stopped here and loved the new remodel. Looks great. Service was good atmosphere was great but the food was not so good this time. We ordered the smokehouse steak and it did not look like the picture on the menu. I do realize we are not at a steak house so I am not giving a bad review on the food because the salad was chilled,fresh and crisp. The bread was good and iced tea perfect. read more

For a chain, Bob Evans isn't terrible but this location is pretty bad. Everything seems greasier here. Bacon is either raw and limp or rock hard. Eggs are always overcooked. The food arrives with an oily sheen. The waitresses seem disinterested and a couple of them openly bicker with each other. I thought it was a chain wide decline and happened to try another location which was much better. read more

I wish I took a photo of our order to show you how bad the food was thrown together. Dining in can be ok since they have to deal with you in house and ppl can see orders. For take out you get a bunch or random things thrown together to pass as your order. 1/2 of the stuff thrown together shouldn't even be in the meal. 1/2 of the food comes out cold since it comes out at different times. Shame on the cooks for trying to pull a fast one since take out is close lid and it is given to customer. This has happened 2x's to us. Safe to say its not a one time deal. read more

Always bad service. Not one server will treat you the way you should be treated, they're not rude they just seem not to care at all. I waited 15 minutes for my food to be corrected, 15 minutes for the check, 15 more minutes for a box. this was when the place was slow, too. First of all, the wait time was unnecessarily long and waitress was not friendly at all. The floors were dirty as well. When our food came, my father found hair in the hash browns. When they remade his meal, the steak he ordered wasn't cooked correctly. Never eating here again -_- read more

Visited Bob Evans franchise in Westlake , Ohio yesterday at around 1:15 pm. Waited about 10 min to be seated, although restaurant was not busy. Once seated, the server ( Kayla) took my order, and appeared quite disinterested in serving me. She proceeded to bring the tea basket( which only contained green tea and herbal tea) , 2 cold dry overbrowned rolls, and my lukewarm potato soup served without garnish of bacon, scallions and cheese. She did not ask if everything was satisfactory but as she dropped off the check , did tell me if I wanted dessert to let her know. I watched as she greeted an older gentleman customer, asking if he wanted a glass of water as well as the coffee he ordered, and asked if he wanted powdered sugar on his French toast. I did not leave a tip( something that goes against my principles as a former server) and as I paid my bill I was asked how everything was( in a very disinterested manner) . When I replied " Meh", I was not questioned further. I won't be returning to this franchise. read more

My family and I came here on 3/31/13. The server took awhile to take our order and then we had to wait awhile to get our food. The eggs in the sunrise skillet were cold and it was loaded with gravy. The gravy that came with the Homestead Breakfast was greasy as well as the bacon. The hash browns with the Homestead Breakfast and the mini sampler were very undercooked. read more
