    I had an amazing experience ordering my 2024 JCW Clubman at Bob Smith MINI. I already owned a 2020 Clubman S and I was wanting to upgrade to the JCW model. Several MINI enthusiasts from a FB group I belong to, recommended Jacinda Olivas and she was very helpful with ordering my new Clubman. During both ordering and final negotiations, I felt no pressure whatsoever and I loved the very relaxed atmosphere. Chris, the sales manager was awesome as well. If you're shopping for your next MINI, I highly recommend Bob Smith MINI and Jacinda as your sales advisor.

    Do you have to be in some type of exclusive owners club to get them to answer the damn service phones? That seems to be the biggest complaint on here yet they do nothing to change it. I too was one of those people who waited 20 mins for an advisor just to have a non advisor answer the phone and send me to an advisors voicemail. Shit I could have done that at the beginning of the phone call. My Mini had a service notification so on the app it took me to Bob Smith scheduling. Ok let me give them one more try. I saw the name of a service advisor and was sent a text asking "how can I help you schedule service". That was on Sept 22nd today is the 28th and not one reply back since. I ended up at South Bay BMW/MINI last week which wasn't a great experience but it was way better than old "no phone answering" ass Bob Smith. What is it with dual branded (BMW/MINI) dealerships that seem to make MINI owners feel like the bastard-child, burdensome brand? Out of three encounters at this dealership, only one was 5 stars, the other two straight zeros. From now on it's dedicated MINI dealerships only!!

    My wife and I came into Bob Smith Mini to look at a used vehicle we saw online, and we were introduced to Jacinda. Jacinda was so extremely pleasant to work with, and I recommend seeing her if you're in the market for a vehicle. We also met her General Manager who was also extremely pleasant, and not what a car dealership G.M. usually is like. This dealership has it figured out, and I'm glad we bought from them.

    Why go to a dealership? I don't know about others but, this is why you will want to go to Bob Smith for all your mini servicing. It starts with professional service, quick response, and of course knowledgeable repair staff. Trust me, I've used my share of import repair shops, some quite good, I've also done many of my own repairs. That said, what do you get for the extra cost? Jannie, my service rep, keeps me informed by sending texts on the progress, she insures I have a ride home (rental or loaner), Bob Smith staff are courteous, have a waiting area with a coffee bar, and always make sure you are taken care of. When I pickup the car, it's been washed and is promptly delivered to me with nearly no waiting. It's been awhile since I've met smiling staff with a true focus on customer service. We're all busy but, have patience, Bob Smith Mini has you covered.

    I decided to buy my beautiful Caribean Blue Metalic Mini Cooper convertible after leasing it for 36 months. The process went smoothly and Miki Forgo was excellent. He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with (unusual in the car business). Highly recommend Miki if you are interested in getting a Mini. The dealership is top-notch overall and it is always a pleasure to go there for service.

I later took the vehicle to another BMW dealership for a full diagnosis, where they found serious internal engine issues, including problems consistent with improper oil filter installation and foreign material inside the engine. Based on the timing of the failure immediately after service, I have major concerns about how the vehicle was handled while in their care. This situation resulted in significant inconvenience and required me to go through an insurance claim to recover most of the damages. I strongly recommend documenting your vehicle condition before and after any service here, and being very cautious.

They absolutely made me feel special & who wants to play games when buying a car? Domenic said that both he and his mechanic had driven the car and that everything was going okay with the car. When the car arrived, it was a different story. Please see the following. Hello Domenic, I finally picked up the car from the shop on June 17th. It took some time for the shop to have a trusted vendor fabricate a stainless steel header to fit the engine and the turbo. There are no original exhaust manifolds available for a turbo Spider since the company that modified the car in 1981 (Legend Industries) has been out of business for quite a while. There were only about 700 Spiders that got the Legend Turbo modification and not many of them are around any more, so parts for the turbo are non-existent. The header itself was $1,300.00. Along with other ancillary parts and labor, the total cost for that was $2,692.77. Attached are a couple of photos showing the cracked manifold. Another attached photo shows the split heater hose. When I first ran the car up to operating temperature, the coolant was spraying from this hose and there was so much steam coming from under the hood, I at first thought the car was overheating. Fortunately, it was not and the steam was from the coolant spraying on the hot engine. That repair with parts and labor was $139.59. The rear brake calipers were incorrect. The anti rattle springs were incorrectly installed. Parts and labor to replace the calipers was $1,014.71. It was quite evident that when the ignition key was on (whether the car was started or not) the fuel pump was constantly running. Parts and labor to replace the fuel pump relay and repair the wiring totaled $424.17. There were several other issues that needed attention. I understand that it is a 40 year old car and I would expect to find some issues. It was disappointing however that, for instance, you didn't let me know that the radio and speakers were not operable. No big deal. The total charge for parts and labor for the other issues was $1,837.00 which included the stereo, some badging, A/C service, coolant sensor, door guides, windshield washer nozzles and washer hose, and inoperative fog lamp switch. These are issues that might be expected to arise in an older car. $3,847.07 was for issues that you would have easily been aware of if anyone had just started the car and not even driven it. These issues were immediately evident as soon as the car came off the transporter. The failure of the emergency brake was noticed as soon as it came down the ramp and the noise from the engine was so loud that it was clearly evident that the exhaust manifold was cracked. The advisor who initially helped me was very nice and recommended additional service since I was approaching 60,000 miles. I specifically asked about the cost and was told around $500-$600. The written estimate showed $528. When I came to pick up the car, the bill was suddenly over $900. The original advisor had already left, and the person at the counter seemed uninterested in helping. When I questioned the charges, I was told the estimate "didn't include parts." He wasn't joking. On top of that, the electrical issue I originally came in for was never addressed. I was told the battery was fine, and the guy at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. He explained that electrical problems are handled by another department and not by maintenance :-) They even got my name wrong. I ended up paying $844, my issue remains unresolved, but hey, they washed the car ! Poor communication, unexpected charges, and unresolved issues are not what I expect from a dealership service department. Lesson learned -- I won't be back.
