I got the creme brûlée pearl latte with no pearls and added caffeine to make it a milk tea. I was hoping the creme brûlée would be a burnt sugar shell on top but it was just the powder. There wasn't too much flavor to the drink itself besides the mixture of the creme brûlée topping and the milk. A little disappointed but still was good! It was pretty thick and creamy so if you like that consistency, I recommend you try it! I am a HUGEEE fan of Boba Bliss' first location in Dublin, CA (one of the top boba spots in the East Bay on Yelp). This is their second location which opened in 2021. Boba Bliss is known for their high-quality ingredients and artisan drinks. My favorites are their matcha lates (they have the best mango and strawberry matcha lattes in the business!). Prices are on the higher-end ($6.25 for a match latte + $0.60 for boba), but in my opinion the quality and service justify the price. If I'm splurging on a $7 drink it better meet high expectations - and Boba Bliss hits the mark. Other drinks I like are their Strawberry Milk Bar ($6) and Natural Taro Ube ($6). Boba Bliss never uses any artificial flavors, chemicals, or preventatives, and you can definitely taste the difference. What I appreciate about Boba Bliss, too, is its consistency. Despite it not always being strawberry or mango season, the drinks are consistent year-round, which is hard to do. I spoke with the owner on my recent visit and she was so kind enough to give me and my girlfriend a free drink after sharing with her we drove from the East Bay to support this new location. She by all means didn't need to do that (we are already already repeat customers!) but it was an extremely nice gesture. That type of service trickles down to the rest of the workers and we have always been appreciative of the professional and classy service here (unlike some other boba shops that are slow, rude, disinterested, etc..) The space itself is big, spacious, open, and modern. Considerably bigger than their Dublin location. They did a great job with the sleek and comforting interior design with bright natural light. Clean interior and good boba tea with both indoor and outdoor seating in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's usually hard to distinguish boba places from one another, but their brown sugar pearls hit a nice note of sweetness in a good quality tea that is actually lower on the sweetness scale than other spots I've been to and with a more moderated amount of ice. Rounded bottom also makes it a bit easier to drink on top of a nicer aesthetic. Things came out pretty fast too (around 5 minutes). Their menu is simplified so it's easy to parse, but a few notes: Oat milk substitute option is only for a limited selection of drinks. I usually get 50% sweetness normally and it have could use a bit more if not for the brown sugar pearls (I'll be bumping it up to 75% when I'm next around). The only size for the above drinks is 24 oz, which is pretty big! In addition to this menu there are specialty drinks and seasonal drinks. {+} Natural Taro Ube I didn't want caffeine so I got the taro drink. This drink is described as "Organize milk blended with fressh natural taro, purple yam, and a hint of coconut." But in reality, I felt like I was drinking a can of coconut milk, with a small bit of taro. There was very LITTLE taro. Just a small bit of it to give the drink a pretty swirl effect. I appreciated that they use real taro that was blended to a smooth creamy paste, but there was so little of it. And what made it worse was that the coconut totally dominated the drink, which was unfortunate because it was only supposed to be a "hint" of it. When I drink a taro drink, I expect A LOT of taro. I honestly don't know what the buzz is all about for Boba Bliss. The interior is certainly fancy, but it is always crowded in here, and seating is extremely limited. I ordered their Oreo special and was very turned off by how oily/fatty the topping was in the drink. I am so happy they opened a Boba Bliss closer to me in Mountain View!! I have been to their East Bay location but it's far for me so I don't go unless I'm in the area. But this location is only 3 miles from me! I couldn't be happier. They are known for their creme brulee boba which is one of my favorites here - they actually brulee the top so it's crunchy and gives you that burnt taste to offset the sweetness. The drink itself is delicious and usually their boba is always on point, soft and chewy! I also tried their seasonal mango milk drink which was also pretty good and refreshing. They only offer it when they have sweet mangoes in season. I can't wait to try more on the menu! Now I have a new addition to my boba rotation! read more

Although I wish the boba was slightly chewier and the tea flavors to be slightly stronger, the drinks here are overall really enjoyable with good quality ingredients as well. // D R I N K S [-] Summer Mango Green Tea Fresh mango purée with a simple green tea and a hint of lime. Refreshing and delicious! Note: The primary sweetener of this drink is the mango puree so it's actually not too sweet. For me, the drink was perfect at 100%. [-] Assam Milk Tea with Boba Good classic black milk tea. Not bad, but nothing special. [-] Royal King Oolong Milk Tea with Boba Great tea flavor that pairs well with the default Straus organic whole milk. I enjoyed this and would recommend it over the Assam. [-] Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte Matcha mixed with organic whole milk and accompanied with the popular brown-sugar boba. Note: The primary sweetener of this drink is the brown-sugar syrup from the boba so it's not too sweet either. Adjust according to your preferences - I got it at 75% sweetness. // P R I C E S For the large size (24 oz), most drinks start out at $5.50 (without boba). Although I did previously think that was pretty expensive, it seems like this is turning into the norm for most boba shops in the Bay Area nowadays. // A M B I A N C E Although the store isn't big, it sure is beautiful! The decor is definitely on the modern side with tones of white, gold, and green (from the plants!). There isn't a ton of indoor seating, but the shop is located in a plaza with some structures available on the outside for seating as well. // L O C A T I O N This is located near the Safeway in the Village at San Antonio Center. I came here after a hearty dinner so my friend and I chose a light drink instead of a milky drink. We ordered the tropical passion tea and the watermelon lychee. I didn't expect the watermelon lychee to be more of a slushy texture as the ice was blended into much smaller particles. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the drink. You could taste the bits of watermelon and lychee in the drink, and it was really refreshing. I tried a bit of the tropical passion tea, which was a lot more sour than I had expected and it included passionfruit seeds (I personally don't enjoy them). The interior has a good amount of seating and parking is very accessible. Rather than their fruit teas, it looks like their milk teas are a lot more popular; I would love to try them if I'm ever in the area again. read more
