I was so happy this place finally opened! I've been a fan of their Tustin Boba Square ever since they opened and now it's much closer to my home! I have to say it is smaller than the Tustin location but I didn't see too much problem with that. The interior is quite neat and minimalistic. It seems to have this wood and white theme which is quite different from their Tustin location's decor. The workers were nice and welcoming. I got Strawberry Watermelon Slush which was amazing as always. I am looking forward to their growth and hope that they'll also bring in some desserts like waffles, shaved ice and honey toast like their Tustin location. read more

I was shopping at Zion Market and was craving boba milk tea so decided to try Boba Square since it was around the corner. I got their Jasmine milk tea with boba since it was recommended on Yelp. The tea flavor was mild and it wasn't sweet enough, even though I didn't make any adjustments. Usually the regular settings are already sweet. Overall I thought it tasted watered down. I've been to the Boba Square in Tustin located in the District, and I've always loved the boba there. And so, I decided to give this place a try, and it was a great experience. This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. It's in the back of the shopping center and hard to spot if you're not looking for it. I always get the Thai tea smoothie with boba or grass jelly here, and it's always great. Their black sugar milk tea at 50% was still pretty sweet (can't imagine how sweet it would be at 100%) and their boba is pretty okay. It was on the harder side than the right chewy consistency. I go to Zion pretty often and have been curious to check this place out. Honestly, compared to other places in Irvine that have an abundance of boba places, I don't think I would come back just because it's really over priced for a regular sized drink with boba. Ended up paying $6.50 for the drink and also have to tip, you know? There are better places around Irvine that give you your money's worth of boba and this place isn't it. read more

Came in on their 2nd day of opening. I know they're new, but their drinks could use some work. Oolong milk tea tasted watery whereas their Tustin location didn't have this problem. Boba was alright. It also has a much smaller menu than their Tustin location and doesn't have honey toast or waffles either. I hope that as time goes by they'll actually use the sealable lids because right now they don't have those, they gave me one with the clear plastic lid instead. read more

Boba Square is one of my favorite places to get boba so I came to this new location with high expectations and it was definitely met! Their decor was pretty and simple. I got Vienna Frappe which had really strong coffee flavor. I also got some macarons on the side and they were quite tasty as well. Conveniently located near Zion Market. Happy to see they opened Boba Square in this plaza. I almost always go to their Tustin location whenever I'm at the District, but this is a huge plus because its closer to my home now. I got one of my favorite drinks, black sesame smoothie, and its just as great as the one I get from the District. Definitely will be back! read more

I found this place near to Hako and was craving some Thai tea boba slush. Came in and it was pretty empty with one party in front of me. Seems like they ordered about 3 drinks total. I order my Thai tea boba slush and it took almost 15 minutes to get my drink. It made me late back to work and kept asking if my drink was done yet but it seems like they were having some issues with the prior group's order.
