Boba shops in the Bay Area are a dime a dozen. That being said, Bobaholics didn't exactly make us feel like they wanted or even needed our business. The lady working at the counter didn't even look up from her phone to greet us when we walked into the empty shop. She didn't even utter a word to us when we asked her to take our order. Instead, she directed us to the self ordering monitor with all but a grunt. We should have left at that point as I felt as if we were bothering her. I loved the fish balls and the popcorn chicken (the seasoning on the popcorn chicken was too spicy for me) My friend let me cut up the chicken give her the more seasoned pieces, that is a true friend right there. Came for their anniversary and BOGO offer. I think I ended waiting a little over 35 minutes. But it was a chance to save almost $10. So not bad. I got the crème brulee latte and the strawberry dream latte. Both were rich and yummy. I don't usually get milk teas (fruit tea fan here) so these were a splurge for me. I enjoyed the cream on the top the most. It was so creamy and tasty. I think I added boba to one of the drinks and it's pretty solid. Service was friendly despite being super busy. i love this spot. i worked at a boba shop before and have been looking for a decent black milk tea here in the south bay and they have one of the best i've tried yet. all these boba spots now add so much sugar distracting you from their quality in tea, but bobaholics gets it just right. i love being able to adjust the sugar as well and i always get 50% or 75% if i feel like it. aside from the drinks their food is amazing as well!!! the coolest thing they have here is their sampler option. you can get 2-3 of their sampler snacks and they have 15 options it seems like, which it great cause i always want to try as much as possible!! the best one is the crab rangoons. a very prominent peppery flavor. read more

I was the only patron in the store, and the interior was clean and spacious, with comfortable couch seating. There were also a few high top tables outside. I ordered the 24 oz Cold Brew with 25% sweetness, which was easy to do on the kiosk. Service was quick and required minimal interaction. I liked the Cold Brew, which was Vietnamese and sweetened with condensed milk. However, it was really difficult to mix, so most of the sweetness ended up on the bottom. Plus they offer a 32 ounce drink which seems excessive, but glorious when I have to share. They have a really full menu with a large variety of drinks and food. They offer dessert drinks, classic milk teas, creme brulee lattes, fruit teas, lemonade and coffee. In addition, they have a full menu of appetizers from crab rangoon, fried mushrooms, calamari to fries. There are so many options and so many things to choose from. This spot gets pretty busy so bring your patience. Sometimes they have a lot of staff which are able to man the registers and still make the drinks and food. But when they don't, they have a station where you can order. Personally, I don't like these stations especially if there's a line behind me. At $10 for popcorn chicken, which is pricier than other boba shops in the area might as will be its own meal, the portion was small. We also asked for it to be extra spicy and it was not evenly coated, plus there was barely spice at all. I got cajun fries here just a week ago and it was crispy and delicious. I liked the Vietnamese coffee, my husband got the cold brew and wasn't impressed due to coffee particles that weren't filtered. Also 75% Sweet for vietnamese coffee was perfect. This place is so close to my house, but didn't know how great this place is since we had our usual boba places by 99 Ranch market complex. After a terrible boba experience in the city we decided to come here to make up for the bad experience. We ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with no pearls from their Brown Sugar series. I love they have the 32 oz size which allows me to share with my daughter since we usually can't finish a whole one ourselves. The way they make it is perfect for our taste. Came in tonight to pick up food for my daughter. Had been here 3 times this week alone and student discount was applicable here. However today when I checked out at the register the cashier young lady was nice and she was as not aware of such thing so proceeded to ask her manager and the manager herself has a facial expression that was snobbish. She answered no. No such thing here. I told them I was here just a day ago and both times student discount was applied. I just took it for what it is and because she is only the staff and has no control. I just feel some type of way by the manger response and look of her face. To management/owner, please be up to date with what your store offers and make sure all employees are aware so that there is no miscommunication and cause confusion for customers. this is my second time visiting and unfortunately i was let down. if you're looking for authentic viet coffee, i don't think this is the place for you. the staff was really helpful in answering questions and shared that they add whole milk into all of their coffees. There is no adjustment option to not add milk if you are ordering manually. I ordered The Vietnamese Latte which tastes & looks like a watered down starbucks coffee with not very potent flavors, as viet coffee traditionally is. Finally tried this place after driving by it everyday lol. They have a lot of unique combination of drinks and toppings! I really enjoyed the Thai Tea with crème brûlée! I really love this place! The quality of their drinks are really good, most specifically the honey boba! Really nice and chew and never too hard. I got the avocado smoothie with 50% sweetness and it was sooo good! I'm a huge texture person and the smoothie was really thick and well...smooth lol. The honeydew smoothie was really great! My boyfriend only gets honeydew smoothies these days and we notice not many boba places do honeydew as often so he really loves this place for having it. We were in the area for a family party and wanted some boba and popcorn chicken for the kids. Whenever I go to a new boba shop, I tend to get the very basic boba milk tea just to get a taste for comparison to other shops. I got a milk tea with boba 50% sugar and wasn't very impressed. The black tea tasted bitter which often times is due to the tea being brewed with water that is too hot. The boba was a nice consistency though. I do appreciate that you can taste the tea rather than it being purely sugar water, but it didn't taste smooth. For the drink, I'd rate it a 2/5. We ordered an order of mild popcorn chicken. This was a huge hit for the kids and they claimed that it was even more delicious than their usual favorite tea shop. My husband tasted it and confirmed that it was really good popcorn chicken. I'm currently on a vegetarian diet so I didn't try it for myself. We also go an order of regular fries and these were delicious. I was expecting some regular fries, but the when I opened up the box and found some battered fries, we were elated. For the snacks, we're gonna give it a 5/5. If we come back, it's mainly for the food. If we're in the area again, we will definitely get the popcorn chicken, try the cajun fried mushrooms, and get the cajun fries.
