Located on a corner of a residential area of SJ. We got the egg coffee large and it came out fast and good! Would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice drink and they had a lot of food selection options as well!
Found this cozy boba shop when catching up with a friend. It was pretty empty inside with only 3-4 tables, perfect to hang out with a friend and catch up. The employees were super kind and the drinks came out quickly. I got the mango tea with lychee jelly (my go-to at most boba shops) and it was so refreshing. My friend got the ube coffee and it was goo too. Perfect size too. We shared a popcorn chicken and it was good, but not the best we've had. Portion was big and it came with sauces too. Total for two drinks and chicken was $27.
The store was empty when my family and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, as in no other customer and no staff in sight. We went ahead and ordered at the kiosk anyway since the store was open. Maybe if they had someone in front more people would come in because the rest of the plaza was busy. We ordered the fried calamari, Vietnamese egg coffee, Milky peach tea blossom refresher, and taro milk tea with boba. The calamari was overdone and the portion was small. I got taro milk tea with less sugar but it was still very sweet. The Vietnamese coffee was strong. The peach tea blossom refresher was good and interesting with different layers of dessert. We finally got to see one staff person when our order was ready, they were nice and offered an extra bag. The inside was minimal with cute seasonal decor.
Not bad, Acha! Not bad!! Stopped by Acha Coffee & Tea to give them a first try & it didn't hurt that the establishment is located just a few lights away from home. Here you will find snacks, coffees, milk teas, fruit teas, & even has a yogurt based list of drinks. Purchases: *Honey Lemon Jasmine Tea [50% sweet level] *Vietnamese Egg Coffee Drinks came out pretty quickly and with just one sip of my tea, I was absolutely sold!! Sweetness and brightness in the lemon was extremely balanced. The tea flavor was not masked by all the other ingredients. The Vietnamese egg coffee was exactly what you would hope and expect. Coffee was bold and thick [making me assume that this stuff was brewed via the traditional slow drip method]. The egg cream was thick, creamy, and balanced that super bold brew. 5 stars. I'm a fan of Acha.
I would say this is a decent place to get a drink on a hot day but definitely not the best in the area. We got a Lychee Rose Tea and a Strawberry Guava Tea both at 75% sweetness. Unfortunately, the Strawberry Guava Tea had no flavor at all and tasted extremely watered down. The Lychee Rose was a pretty decent drink, I've just had better. This seems like a good place for students to since it is in walking distance from a high school and also has food options. Overall, decent but I probably wouldn't go again.
Place is small, but is very naturey. Surprised this place has little reviews. The milk teas even without any boba are great. I got Rose Milk Tea This place has a restroom, self order kiosk and accepts Cash/Card. They have some snacks on the bar. They are in the back working but have a bell you can ring for quick service.

It's a very casual neighborhood stop after going to the US Post Office and then Shell gas station on Piedmont Rd. Not huge, but parking is available morning hours and it's conveniently located. The quiet plaza felt a bit sketchy for me though (liquor store across it, old donut shop down a few doors, visible taco place, and some services next door). There were bars on the entrance doors. Liquor store attracts all kinds of people. I stopped by over a month ago at opening hour 8am, but the kiosk didn't work and nobody was around that day. Today, vibes still felt empty and cold inside with nobody around, but I did order a rose milk tea 50% sugar, no ice, vegetables croquettes (3-pieces set) with side mayonnaise sauce, and a mixed cheese corn. The beverage at 50% was still too sweet for my tastebud. Vegetables croquette turned out very hot in temperature and more like potato croquette which was actually pretty soft and good in taste. Cheese corn wasn't what I expected as it didn't have much salt flavor to it, but still fulfilling. You can definitely find better options in San Jose. This is really your average snack and beverage stop, so don't expect too much, but for beverage grab & go, it's definitely very convenient. I would stay on the alert side parking inside this parking lot though. Something just feels weird about the fengshui of this plaza or location. Unexpectedly, I was charged an operating fee of $0.46 for my $17.18 purchase.
I tried a new drink and it was the... Lychee Rose Refresher (#3 most liked): Light and refreshing jasmine tea infused with fresh lychee and subtle rose essence (3/5). Indeed it was light and subtle, maybe a bit too subtle. Though, I am glad I tried it. Slowly going through their drink flavors. LOL.
This lovely little coffee shop is located very conveniently to me in a small plaza with some donuts and a taqueria nearby. Parking is limited but the lot is never too full. The store itself has a couple tables and a counter height area near the window. It could probably comfortably sit two or three groups of people who are hanging out. The register area takes up most of the space. The service here is wonderful - really super nice ladies who are sweet and thoughtful and really good with kids. You can order with them or off of an iPad. Drinks came out fairly quickly. Less than five or ten minutes. Three stars because the drinks were yummy but an average sort of yummy. Not the type of drink where I take a sip and go whoaaaaaa that's good. More of a hmmm not bad! Either way I still recommend this place and the service is fantastic and I will come back to try the snacks.
Ordered a peach tea with lychee and the taste is delicious- and my daughter ordered a Vietnamese coffee with ube definitely a 10 Establishment was clean and love the decor! Service was quick and server was friendly and polite! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in San Jose!
Pick up order: 8/10 Ube Thai Tea $5.75 - Thai tea good, sweet, and pretty standard but the ube foam is fake. It's taro and you can definitely taste it. At least the taro flavor was strong enough to stand out and still went ok with the thai tea. 7/10 Vietnamese Egg Coffee $6.75 - coffee strength is medium, decently sweet and creamy, but egg on top was just ok. Not too outstanding of a drink but not bad either.
"ACHA" excuse my sneeze because some pepper in your nose is worth the painful itch because ACHA is my new favorite boba spot. I discovered ACHA on uber eats and because of the low number of yelp reviews I assumed that this was a new establishment. Looking at the menu where not only do you have an extensive selection of drinks, but you have a unique snack menu. Ever since I saw a TikTok of someone going to TATY'S where she featured a snack that i had never heard of before, "Banh Mi Que" . I searched through many boba tea menus which only lead me to frustration because I couldn't find it anywhere until I came across Acha. The best part about my discovery was that they were having a bundle special where you can order any drink and it comes with 4 Banh Mi Que bread sticks for a really great price. Upon arrival my uber eats driver actually mixed up my order because when I opened the door instead of milk tea with the bread sticks, I got an order of Cafe Su Da and a Banh mi sandwich from Lees Sandwiches which left me in deep confusion. Luckily my driver quickly came back to my door and gave me what I had ordered and took the other order that wasn't mine. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with half sugar and salted cream foam which didn't disappoint. The milk tea was creamy, sweet, and probably the best milk tea I've had in a long time. I'm absolutely obsessed with the milk tea here now. I finally got to try the bread sticks, and there was one bread stick that wasn't the same as the rest. The breadstick was plain with no filling and different looking/ tasting from the rest. After trying Banh Mi Que I found out that I don't enjoy Pate enough to want to eat these. The bread wasn't crispy, crunchy, or warm and honestly didn't enjoy the flavor. Even though the snack was disappointing, it did lead me to discovering this spot. I haven't changed my mind about the drinks here and I loved my drink. I can't wait to try other snacks and drinks from here and I'll keep updating this review as I go.
First time trying Acha and I ordered via DoorDash. I did really like the ube cream thai tea, it's unique and the flavors actually work well together. The ube cream has a great consistency and isn't too sweet. I was able to mix it in pretty easily and I would definitely order this again. May try the ube coffee next time. The peach blossom w/ milk jelly was a total miss for me though. It may be that I'm unfamiliar with this type of drink, but I couldn't get past one sip. All in all a pretty solid place, the boba was chewy and had a nice flavor. I will have to try some of their other drinks.
I went back to Acha recently, and was pretty disappointed in the service I received. I ordered a coffee with cold foam, and the only modification I asked for was 50% ice. What I received was a drink with SO MUCH ice that I couldn't get the straw to the bottom of the cup, and a pretty sad layer of foam. I would have asked for them to fix my order, but the woman who brought my drink out vanished back behind the curtain into the kitchen so fast that I couldn't even say anything before she was long gone. An overall frustrating experience. I don't think I'll be coming back. read more
Short review as I've only been here once, but great experience overall! Ordered pickup using the SnackPass app (linked on the yelp page) and very content with the drinks! Ube thai tea 50% sweet, less ice - the thai tea quality is great! I don't drink thai tea often but I wanted to try something new and I don't normally see the combination of ube and thai tea at boba spots. I wouldn't go higher than 50% sweet (I normally get 50% on my drinks anyway). I wish there was more ube cream in it. Rose milk tea 70% sweet, less ice, add boba - the tea quality and rose taste are great (not overpowering)! I would get 50% sweet but this was my wife's drink and she prefers sweeter lol. The boba was good, not amazing IMO; maybe slightly softer than what I would prefer. Overall, great drink quality and can't wait to try more of the drinks on their menu (the Peach Blossom refresher looks yum!) read more

One of the better boba spots I've had around this area. The boba itself had actual flavor. Had delivery so not speaking on any ambiance or service but they packaged my order nicely and that left a good impression. Also, they offer some unique drinks in addition to the classics. Signature Milk Tea w/ Boba - a typical black milk tea that leans towards the creamy, milky side rather than the tea. Tea is evident but not strong. Can't go wrong with this classic milk tea. Boba was flavorful because it was well marinated in sugar. Cooked just right for a soft chew, not overcooked. Black Sesame Peach Blossom Refresher - one of the more unique offerings, it was a bit watered down and the black sesame wasn't that strong. It does include peach gum and milk jelly for texture but I think this dilutes the black sesame a lot or at least throws off ratios. It tasted fine as a drink, but for black sesame enjoyers I wouldn't rely on this. Ube Thai-Tea - a typical Thai tea but with ube crema on top. The Thai tea was as expected. This could use a small knife for the seal or a different lid since the crema experience with a straw isn't the best. Overall another classic that's safe and consistent though. read more

Acha is great for those within walking distance! Parking can be tough depending how busy the plaza is. I came on a quiet Wednesday evening. I ordered the Peach Oolong Tea at 50% sugar for something refreshing on a hot evening. I was really surprised by how good the tea was! The fruit pieces in the drink was a nice touch. They also made the drink very quickly. Seating is limited but they have an extensive menu of both food and snacks. Would recommend if you're in the area! read more

It was hot and I needed a ice tea. But finding a good tea is hard. Even though there are hundreds of shops just in S.J.(not kidding,look it up). I tried a few ,but I always end up at this mom and pop shop. I like all of the different options on ice and sugar levels. The unique combination of flavors. As someone who has worked in food prep. I know that to many options Leeds to mistakes. But I've never had a problem with my drinks. It's a small shop down the street from the high school,so it gets kinda crowded after school. read more

This store is a total scam. I ordered 10 drinks total via UberEat, 2 classic milk tea and 2 brown sugar milk tea. ALL of them didn't come with boba, though the pictures clearly showed boba at the bottom of the drinks. When I came to pick up, I told the old lady about the issue, she was like "this is your first time? The pictures showed it but the drinks dont come with toppings". The freak??? I'm like isn't it your job to make sure whatever you're advertising is correct??? Then she said sorry with no sincerity in it then walked in, left me standing there not knowing what to do, showed no attitude of wanting to fix the issue. I HIGHLY recommend you walk away from this store if you consider buying a boba drink for yourself, waste of money! read more

I usually never leave positive reviews because I'm a terrible person, but today this boba shop gave me a reason to change my ways. I ordered a buy 1 get 1 on DoorDash for pickup - but apparently you have to order two of the same drink for it to count. I didn't know that so I only ordered a single drink thinking the second would automatically apply. However when I got there, there was only one drink prepared for me and the lady explained the situation. I went back into my car feeling a bit sad, but the lady came outside to tell me she'd make me another one for free. So kind of her and bless her heart! I wish I could tip more but I didn't have any cash on me except for a single dollar. These people deserve the world! I got the three brothers Matcha Latte but I subbed red bean for mochi which they were happy to accommodate. Much love to this little boba shop! read more
Came here Saturday morning. The shop is located inside a small plaza so there's some parking spots in the front. Once you head inside, you can ring a bell to order or use the kiosk to self-order. Since it was very early, there weren't any other customers, although there was a Doordasher picking up an order. We ordered a matcha latte and iced vietnamese coffee. You are able to adjust the sugar and ice level on these drinks but there isn't an option for 0% sugar. Nevertheless, the drinks weren't overly sweet. The drinks came out fast. There's also food options, but we only got drinks this time around. Would come back here! There's quite a lot of seating inside so it'd be a good place to meet up with friends. read more

The popcorn chicken here is so good. Honestly, the best one I've ever had. I love how many sauce options they have. Their house sauce kind of reminds me of canes and it goes so well with the chicken. The chicken is crispy and super juicy. The owner was the sweetest and came up to me to ask for my opinion. She let me know they make their Popcorn Chicken fresh. I love the Ube coffee here. However, I didn't like my drink from my most recent visit. The owner took my opinion and thanked me for my Feedback. She offered to make me a new drink and even gave me a free one to try as well. I can tell the owner genuinely cares about the quality of their drinks and their customers feedback as well. Great little place to get a refreshing drink, an even better place to get delicious snacks. I will definitely be a regular here. read more

You have to try their popcorn chicken! The portion size is pretty good for the price ($9), and it's not overly breaded/oily. In general, their snacks are a good deal! We've also tried their fried rice with extra protein ($5+$3). What I especially like is that they have an area where you can get extra seasoning/sauces. They have every sauce you could need, from sweet chili to tartar. A lot of places give very little or charge for extra sauce, so it's so nice that they have this available for free. The drinks are good too! I especially like the mango yogurt. The taro coffee was also great for a long drive to SoCal. The coffee and taro were balanced well. You order on the tablet and they're pretty fast at getting the food out. There's minimal interaction with the employees, but they're always pleasant. Overall, if you need to pick up a quick snack/lunch, I would recommend this place! read more

Friendly staff. Drinks were made quick and fast but the snacks did take a bit longer. Had self serve area for sauce, napkins, utensils, and straws. Drinks: -Sea Salt Vietnamese Coffee reminded us of what we had in Vietnam. -OMG Fruit Tea was refreshing. Snacks: -Calamari & Popcorn Chicken were thick pieces and good. Maybe a little too much batter/ coating but still good -Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice, chicken had good flavor but the fried rice itself needed a bit more. Food was fried perfectly! We got the fried tofu and the veggie croquettes. The special sauce is so delicious. We also got the egg coffee and the matcha coconut. Both are so creamy and it's nice to have a refreshing alternative with Matcha! Love the little benches and stools to sit and do cafe work; modern look and plenty of space and airy! The lady at the counter is very sweet and kind, and someone ordered a drink without realizing it had condense milk but was asking for no sugar (don't think the customer knew what condense milk is) and the lady remade his drink into a plain black coffee - very considerate. read more
I was in the neighborhood and wanted to grab a cup of coffee. I chose this place because I wanted to try something different, rather than the usual American coffee. When I walked in, the store was empty. Since there was no one around, I had to order through the tablet. I ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee with taro, light ice but add boba. There was no option to choose the sweetness. When my drink was ready, a man from the back gave me my drink. As I was holding my drink, I noticed that 1/4 of the cup was empty. As for taste, the boba has the perfect texture and it was sweet. You can definitely taste the coffee but the taro flavor was not there. read more

Acha is a hidden gem nestled away in a small plaza. The environment is very cozy and chill with a good amount of seats inside. The staff are nice and their service is relatively quick. They have milk teas, fruit teas, a variety of unique drinks, and many tasty snacks. Whether you like classic milk tea, coffees, or something fruity and refreshing, they've got you covered! I've had many different drinks from here, but my favorite is the OMG (orange, mango, guava) fruit tea. It's very refreshing with the citrusy flavors of orange, sweetness of mango, and tanginess of guava. It's a refreshing and fruity blend, perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot summer day. Another recommended drink would be their Vietnamese Egg coffee! Their egg cream is rich, creamy, and decadent, while their coffee is sweet with a little hint of bitterness providing the perfect balance. Their snacks are reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Their popcorn chicken is seasoned nicely and the Takoyaki is tasty. read more
