LOVE BOBA! Literally the best boba I've had. Don't even go anywhere else. My boyfriend and I usually get the avocado smoothie with extra boba and passion fruit which are both super delicious. The atmosphere is cool/casual. They always have good music playing and usually sports on TV. My boyfriend likes getting their bag of fries with cheddar cheese. Their curly fries are really good also. This is only my go-to place for boba in Mira Mesa because there aren't many options around. It's a basic boba shop that offers milk teas, slushes, smoothies, and some light snacks like popcorn chicken and fries. I like this place because the boba is included for free, they have GREAT customer service, and the prices are very affordable. I think the quality of the drinks could be better but I do enjoy the consistency of their boba. They've done quite a few renovations to this establishment and I really like what they have now. You can lounge and play some games or watch on their big screen TVs. Something that would make me like Bobalicious better is if they offered new drinks to the menu. read more

The other day my friends and I came here and we ordered, thai tea, strawberry, avocado and pina colada. Everything was delicious except the pina colada. I had a slush with boba and it was really good and that equals 1 star. Unfortunately, the drink was good, but the lack of customer service killed this place. Lack of customer service skills equal zero stars. Walked in, no one in line, just me. No one behind the counter either. Oh wait, there is someone working here... they see me, I see them, she is wearing a lot of makeup, no acknowledgement that I exist. Employee comes out from around the corner, eye contact again. No hello, no hi, she goes back behind the counter. Can't see her anymore. Eventually she comes out, stands on front of the register and just looks at me. Doesn't say hi, doesn't ask if I am ready to order, just stares at me. I guess she's ready to acknowledge me now and I assume it's "okay" for me to order from her. Place my order and move aside. A few minutes later my drink is ready and it's slid across the counter as she says my name. I say thank you. She says nothing at all. I'm not coming back. I'm not recommending. Some pretty good boba and this place is usually pretty busy. Haven't had a lot of different drinks there but I usually get almond or coconut milk tea with boba. I see some of the reviews saying the boba is very inconsistent and that's pretty accurate. I consider this to be comparable to the tapioca expresses and lollicups of the boba world. It meets my standards for boba, but I don't see stars when I drink it. I ordered lightly sweetened for my mango tea and felt like it was still super duper sweetened. I know that it could've just been the syrup so maybe I should say less mango syrup next time. Love the fact that I can get good boba for a low cost in Mira Mesa. Tea station is good but over priced and I prefer Bobalicious for my fruity smoothies. The milk tea isn't good here though compared to tea station hence one star deduction. If you want a chamango without having to go south, perfect place to go! Plus they now do their stamps via a reward card much similar to cvs/rite aid key chain card. Much easier to keep track of points/stamps than a card that easily gets misplaced. I come here whenever I am craving boba because it's the closest boba shop from my home. It's not the best boba around, but it does the trick. I've learned to stay away from their fruit flavored milk teas because they taste very syrupy and way too sweet. Their boba is always consistently cooked though, with a nice chewy texture. Since working in the area I have been here a handful of times and I won't be stopping anytime soon. The front of the house girls are always very up beat and I am always acknowledged every time as I walk in. My favorite drink is the tiger Tea with baby boba. I change it up to the Oreo slush when I crave something sweet. But lately I have been getting the jasmine iced tea since I been tying to cut down on my sugar intake. I always pair my drink with some popcorn chicken! It so soooo good! They have use to not have it all the time but lately they have been on top of it! I get it medium because if you say spicy it is a little over kill on the palate. Over all it a good experience for a very reasonable price compared to other boba shops on convoy.
