But there is a point I must remind our health-crazed population, smoothies and milkshakes are not suppose to be an addiction (medical science classifies addiction as anything you do once or more times every week). That ends the science portion of this review. I offer 5-stars for this Jamba Juice. Because even with being surrounded by enemies like, "all natural" Juice Bars, Bolba shoppes, and mom and pop's coffee shops," this place delivers and perseveres. That in itself deserves patronage, or you can go to a place that judges you as you walk in (if you're not a regular the service and quality of product never quite matches the description. And don't get me started with the picture. I'd pick up a Jamba and then run my errands... even a few stops in Mira Mesa would take hours! A Jamba eases the pain of picking up a few items here and there and it taking forever! We have a counter dedicated to our protein shakes and smoothies we make at home. However when we have games and tournaments out of state we love to grab a quick smoothie if we can. So happy this location is just down the street, about 7 min away from the gym my son's tournament was at! Decided to stop by JJ on my only day off, I had ordered a simple Açaí bowl, the guy at the cash register was very welcoming but the girl who made the bowl was for some reason rude. She shoved my bowl across the counter and didn't think much of it. Got home to enjoy my bowl only to find a hair in it, she just so happened to the only brunette girl in the store. First off this store has the highest prices in comparison to the Poway, Point Loma, Santee and Carmel Mountain locations. Not sure why, the girl at the register said we ALWAY RAISE OUT PRICES. The funny part is I just ordered a strawberry wilds yesterday after the gym in santee and paid a dollar less and they even gave me a medium when I asked for a small. Santee and Carmel Mountain are great locations. I decided to still order a small strawberry's wild smoothie and presented a $50 bill and the manager said we don't have change.....what a joke. Message to the GM and area manager....supply your team with at least a $200 drawer, it's pretty much industry standard. Adjust your prices to match all locations, provide better training (don't tell customers "we always raise our prices) and ensure the drawer is able to break a $50 OR train your managers to go make change from the safe. Jamba Juice is not willing to be a customer service organization....it seems they simply don't care. We should all feel bad for their day to day employees as this is not their fault. read more

I called in my order go limit my time in the actual store. When I arrived I noticed it was quite crowded. I understand it is hot outside but I think the store should make a better way for people to form a line with following the protocols that is placed due to covid. One word to describe this Jamba location: inconsistent. My regular order is a large Mango-a-go-go and I always ask them to make it thick. Depending on who is working, my smoothie always comes out looking and tasting different. Today's smoothie was absolutely horrible. Not only did they not fill my cup (mind you, I paid the hefty price for a large smoothie), it was very watery, even more so than if I didn't ask for it to be thick. This is a very nice Jamba Juice with a good group of friendly employees running it. I picked up my usual, during the fall season, pumpkin smash smoothies and for a snack, a apple cinnamon warm soft pretzel. The pumpkin smash was terrific and I really like the way the vanilla yogurt smooths the smoothie and gives it a touch of creaminess. The pumpkin and cinnamon flavors came through nicely and were great. The apple cinnamon pretzel was of good size and was very moist and soft. I love Jamba Juice & the staff were friendly. Although, what killed it was my drinks weren't filled to the top. It wasn't just one drink, but both drinks I ordered. I didn't have time to let the staff know because I came during my lunch break. If I'm paying almost $5 per drink, it should be filled to the very top. In fact, I've gotten to other Jamba Juices that fills it to the top, & if there is any extra, they'll give a tiny cup filled w/the extra juice to the customers. There were tons of new flavor combinations to try, many that I didn't recognize, but my choice of the day would be their Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up. I've been really getting into pomegranates lately and decided to try Jamba Juice's creation with the exotic, grenade-like fruit. It was very refreshing and flavorful, but perhaps a tad on the sweet side. That said, all of their smoothies have been a little sweeter than I tend to like, but are also great on hot summer days as today. I normally skip the Jamba Juice on the way to the gym, but this BOGO deal was too good to pass up. I recently had a coupon for a $2 16-oz. Fruit and Veggie Smoothie, and decided to redeem it at this location. My Tropical Harvest smoothie actually was quite tasty - even if it uses butternut squash, you don't taste it due to the mangoes and peaches mixed in. This particular Jamba Juice is quite roomy - there's even a kiosk that sells various themed merchandise inside. And the snacks also look pretty good as well. Just be careful with what you order - the Peanut Butter Moo'd can run upwards of 900 calories(!) as a large. I give it a 5 star because there's was like 6 ppl working at that location, it was pretty busy when we got there. I was not expecting 6 ppl to be working usually it's like 2 ppl working. We had to wait like about 5 min For our drinks. The smoothies are always a hit or miss especially on a busy day. I usually order the same smoothie for my fiancé + I, instead of blending the smoothies separately like how you would have to if I were two different customers, they would blend both together. The smoothies turned out way too watery, definitely not the correct consistency and it's very disappointing. Sometimes I have to purposely order the same smoothies just customized a bit, so they have to prepare it individually so it tastes right. After all, I am paying money for the smoothies and I am not getting a discount for saving them a blender/time! Not to mention, when the receipt prints with a survey BOGO coupon at the bottom they will immediately toss your receipt in the trash without asking if you want a receipt. My fave smoothie at JJ is Acai. Unless you come here during downtime, expect a wait. It's next to Starbucks which contributes to the sucky parking. My Favorite smoothies are the The Pumpkin Smash (seasonal) and the Orange Dream. They can make your old favorites that are not on the menu anymore and that is a HUGE plus for me and my Mini-Me, when we are in need of cool-smoothie happiness. Came to this J.J. after getting some car repairs. Walked in to all the employees gabbing on.. (ok no big deal, were all bored) do to this I was unaware the young lady was ready to take my order. I had asked "are you guys ready?" Nothing but blank stares ... (oook...) made my order and requested no banana. Tried to pay with one of my cards... the machine froze.... when the one young lady ringing me up requested help her coworker shook her head and said no.. . (oook... awkward and now I wanna hide) Upon making the order they were a bit confused as to what I had ordered so the young lady making it suggested frozen yogurt I said yes please. As the suggestion is being made a male coworker from behind her not even making eye contact with me.. "so you want a milkshake?"(insert lol here from the staff)... at this point I felt ashamed, awkward, and frustrated. If I hadent of paid I would have just walked out.
