We got two drinks: - thai tea mill tea with boba: kind of plain and less sweet than we usually have it. We usually like the "regular sweet" level so never change the sweetness, but if we knew, we would have added 25%. - Taro smoothie with boba: the texture, taste, and sweetness were perfect! - Boba: perfectly chewy and tasty. Between my own drinks and drinks for family members, I would typically spend anywhere from $10 to $25 per day here. Unfortunately, the quality has become very inconsistent. Sometimes the drinks are great, but recently the boba has been terrible. For the last three days, the boba has been burnt, hard, and crispy. It feels like the same batch is being left out all day and served long after it should have been replaced. Yesterday, I ordered three drinks through DoorDash. I understand that ordering through a delivery service costs more, but I pay the extra charge because it saves time. One of the teas was ordered without ice because I have a one-hour commute home and didn't want watered-down tea. When I got home, I found that the cup was barely over half full. I know DoorDash includes a disclaimer that drinks without ice may not be filled to the top, but we're talking about tea here. Filling the cup properly would have cost very little, and receiving a drink that was less than three-quarters full felt like a slap in the face. Today, I decided to give them one last chance and ordered another drink online during my lunch break. Again, I paid extra for the convenience of ordering ahead because I don't have time to stand in line and wait. When I arrived at 11:30, I was told the boba wasn't ready yet. Not only did I not get what I ordered and paid for, but I ended up waiting while other customers were served. I had to return to work late, frustrated, and stuck with a tea without boba that I had overpaid for. After spending a significant amount of money here over time, I'm disappointed to say they've lost a loyal customer. Consistent quality and better customer service would go a long way. read more

I am usually not in this area much. This is a review from a neurodivergent perspective. The service and quality of my drink was offputting. Might consider updating this review if I ever come back with friends some point in the distant future after I've had a long enough break from this visit. I was deeply disappointed by my first visit here. Was in the area waiting to pick up someone after their appointment and needed to kill time. Loved the decor and chess set that was already set up at a table. I wound up occupying myself for 2 hours. This looks like a great hang out spot with friends. And like they have a lot of offerings. Even so, I got the strawberry smoothie because it's a safe choice for me when trying new places. I couldn't even finish a quarter of this drink. It didn't taste like strawberry at all. It tasted like syrupy artificial stuff one would usually order for kids. I came at a slow time and figured, maybe if I asked them to remake my drink in another smoothie flavor, it wouldn't be too much trouble since there were no other customers in the store at all. I came up to the lady who took my order and told her "I'm sorry, I don't like my drink. Is it alright if you make me another drink please?" Usually, most boba places oblige because they want you to try the menu to find the drink you really like so you can become a regular customer. She said oh! No problem, then proceeded to ring me up as if I was placing a brand new order. I was confused. I told her no, I'm asking you to replace this one that I'm having trouble enjoying. She just shrinked and said nooooooo sorryyyyyyy That's disappointing. I paid and tipped for this drink for nothing. Had to throw it away because it was giving me too many sensory issues. I walked away deciding to never come back. Trader Joe's lets you go back to exchange or get a refund if you try one of their products that you don't like. Tapioca Express has obliged this drink replacement request before. Happy Lemon has obliged before. Quickly employees have obliged before. Yun Tea lets you sample drinks so you don't wind up in this situation. I literally was the only customer in the store. There was no line. There was nobody waiting to place an order. And the answer was just no. I suggest making samples every now and then for customers to try before they buy whenever you can. And consider remaking drinks at no cost if a customer really does not like their drink. Customer retention is important. And this was an easy ask to accommodate. I'm unsure how good the rest of the menu was, but this first time experience literally and physically left a bad taste in my mouth. Highly advise that people avoid the strawberry smoothie and get anything else on the menu. Because if you don't like your drink, you're shit out of luck. Make your choice carefully. The soft serve was great! They only had vanilla at the time though. Out of the other flavors. Parking was easy thankfully. read more

The decor is a collection of stuffed toys and anime. The menu has all the standard milk teas, fruit teas and açaí. The also have some cool specialties. I tried a normal milk tea and a taro horchata. Got both of them 50% sweet and they were still a bit overly sweet. The flavor was good but I might try even less sweet time. The boba was soft and fresh. The folks there was friendly and helpful. Tiger Thai was meh and too sweet. 6/21/25 I decided to try it since it was one of their recommended drinks. Took about 9 min to get my drink. The lady at the front that made my drink was so sweet and kind. I stopped in for a quick caffeine fix and got a Vietnamese coffee. She said that she didn't add any additional sugar to her Vietnamese coffee and she was right not to do it- just the perfect amount of sweetness. There is plenty of seating but the drawback is that I can see how on a busy day, you could potentially have a bad parking experience. Boba Love, or more accurately Boba Love 2 since the original is located in Murrieta, has replaced a tanning business in a suite next door to a Guamanian eatery in Miramar. With the word 'Love' in its name, the first thing that struck me about the interior was a lot of red, pink, and orchid colors. There were plenty of stuffed animals on display and even a social media friendly wall of red roses. A worker was busy in the back kitchen washing dishes and glassware when I walked in. He didn't approach the service counter until another set of customers arrived after me. There were three menu screens, the first of which featured five acai bowls and an acai smoothie. The middle screen listed the smoothies, hot drinks, and protein drinks. The final flat panel contained the fruit teas, milk teas, and specialty drinks. I have an affinity for fruit teas so this time I selected a Dragon Fruit variety with boba added for $0.70. The drink came as a pink liquid to match the themed decor of the shop. The regular sweetness was fine with my palate while the pearls were cooked to a soft degree. Only a few tables were available for inside seating, and they were well spaced apart. Along the back wall were two self-service frozen yogurt machines. Fro yo wasn't even an item on any of the menus so I cannot comment on the price per ounce. I stopped by this place when I was out mattress shopping on Miramar. It was a very small and cute shop, it had some Kawaii stuff. I was surprised since I thought the menu was very small and limited. I didn't even see the 'basic' toppings listed on the menu but then the lady flipped open the counter cover and they were all there. I think they will in time update their digital menu. I ended up getting the Thai Tea with boba. I was not a fan of the tea itself, it didn't taste as fresh to me. The boba were not soft and chewy either. We wanted boba and stopped by as this shop came highly recommended by my friends. The staff were friendly and so quick. We ordered a taro milk tea with boba, a lychee fruit tea with popping lychee, and an açaí bowl. The worker was so helpful in explaining the different sweetness levels and flavors. The taro milk tea was perfect tasting and the lychee fruit tea was refreshing as well as those yummy popping bobas. We also took an açaí bowl home and it was so beautifully garnished. While we waited for our order, it was evident that the shop was well kept and clean. I was waiting for my ride after returning my rental and decided to check out this boba shop out as it had indoor seats too. The location I went to is located in a little plaza next to a huge 24 Hour Fitness on Miramar Rd. There's a parking lot with ample stalls. I got their Winter Wonderland which consisted of wintermelon tea on the bottom and butterfly tea on top. That sound very intriguing! I ordered it with 50% sweetness like all my usual orders, but the worker was so sweet to warn me that 50% would still be really sweet. So we went down to 25%, and it was perfect! Grateful for her! She even said she could make it less sweet if it was still too sweet for me. The tea was initially aesthetically pleasing (peep at pic) but once I mixed it, it was all dark purple/brown HAHA. The drink was good tho! Refreshing. I mainly tasted the wintermelon tea with no butterfly tea flavor. Definitely a little gem away from the main towns.
