This is my favorite boba spot! Every thing is delicious and the servers are friendly!

I've been to boba loca before and im happy to say that I was pleased with the order, however, I've recently been and I was not happy with the order. I ordered a black assam tea with black sugar syrup, tapioca pearls and a salted caramel foam mousse. I was not pleased with what I had as the tea tasted like nothing but a cold tea. That is simply not acceptable to have for boba. It would be better to go to a place where the tea has an acceptable taste and is worth a good price. read more

As a person who visited while the old management was there wow what a difference the new management are welcoming and so kind , The mother I'm guessing the owner offered me the left overs of my dads strawberry banana boba drink which I thought was a great customer service quality to have ln the food industry business. It's located in a plaza so parking was not a hassle. The customer service was decent. I got a regular sized watermelon slush for about $4 and honestly it was so goood. I'd come back just for that!! My husband and I did a online order he ordered an Oreo milkshake with boba and I ordered a almond milk tea with boba... his Oreo milkshake didn't taste like Oreo.. and mine tasted like perfume.. they were both very watered down and got us both sick. After the new ownership their drinks taste very different.. I do not recommended, we will definitely not come again. read more

The boba drinks are good, I feel. The older man and woman (who are probably the owners) are so very rude. I complain about them every time I go, I've never had a good experience there. I continue to go because it's hard to find boba that I like. They'd probably have more business if they tried to be pleasant. For their customer service, I would give them a -5. read more

I went here bc it's close by my house && EVERY TIME I went... they were "out of boba" literally 3x in a week . And the new owner said they had popping boba but I didn't want that. They say that they have non- dairy / non fat milk made out of corn, but got frustrated/reluctant to help when I asked to check the label. I am vegan. Respect. Their boba is also soaked in brown sugar / HONEY water and they don't have any vegan substitutes for vegans. They won't remake any boba in just brown sugar water ... This place use to be our favorite and only boba place in my area-not anymore. Since the new ownership took over, the drinks have been watered down and not sweetened at all. We've gone there four times and the drinks are still the same..watery if it's blended or smoothie. read more

This used to be my go to place being that it's close to home, but I definitely don't recommend anymore since being under new ownership. The strawberry milk tea tasted like medicine, it was so bad that it went straight into the trash. I decided to try it again and order something else, ordered 3 drinks.. 20minutes went by and I asked how much longer. They said they actually lost my order and would start working on it. Another ten minutes go by and nothing! I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. My order was cancelled and according to them "voided," however I had to call my bank and dispute the charge because they never refunded my money. Also, the girls working there are not very friendly and made an excuse of "rush hour" when I was there the whole time and only two people went in after me. read more

I can't believe more people haven't rated this place 5 stars. The have the best boba in the city IMHO. The drinks are delicious and the amount, texture, and flavor of the boba are perfect. Mango Shaved Ice $4.99 Reg RedBean Milk Tea $3.45 pro: boba is free with the drink and shaved ice. con: not worth the price, the Mango Shaved ice had a lot of ice, not enough mangos and they also added mango syrup in it?? not legit shaved ice. this review is coming from a person that knows good boba drinks and whom comes from SGV. this place is seriously white washed. I consider myself a pretty picky boba drinker lol.. With that said, I have tried this place about 4 times. And every single time have been dissatisfied. It's close to my work so I've really wanted it to be a pleasant experience. I normally favor Boba Tea House in Riverside. Ok here's the thing, the drinks are so-so, nothing special. The boba on the other hand is horrible! I've asked numerous times for extra boba, damn! I'm open to paying for it! But every time they are shiesty with the boba! Not Cool! And one more thing, EVERY Boba joint should carry mini boba! They however, do not. Very disappointing. :( read more

Bobaloca has the best boba. Not too soft/mushy or hard in the middle, but perfect and chewy. My favorite drinks are mango slush, Thai tea, tapioca milk tea, Oreo shake, and sometimes a mango shake. This place has one of the worst customer service! I agree with the review below from Chad. We also asked for boba on the side today. I even called first to make sure. I was going to buy at first and the one who answered said I don't have to pay for as long as we buy. When we arrived, the owner said no, they can't sell it to us. Huh? He all of a sudden changed his mind? What kind of customer service is that? Fine....I said not to put the boba in my drink and just put it in a separate container. He said they don't have an extra container and they can't sell me an extra cup. That's it. We're done with them. Our neighborhood is a pretty friendly community. They shouldn't be here. yum yum yum! I am not a fan of boba, but was looking for a smoothie the other day after working out and found this place. Their smoothies are fresh and delicious, and the guy working there was incredibly friendly. Came back the other day to try the fruit waffle which was also incredible! Saturday afternoon, Riverside heat wave, dazed + confused because this boba shop was in a really odd location?¿ FOOD: My cousin + I ordered a fruity waffle along with our red bean milk tea with boba and in short, we were thoroughly satisfied! We shared the waffle ** Milk Tea: The red bean was shaken up, did not have any whole red beans in the drink (which is what I'm used to but it's fine), and it was perfectly sweetened. I've had a handful of bad experiences with my red bean milk teas being on the sweet side but this place happened to make the perfect adjustments. All the other reviews for this shop mentioning their boba/pearls are spot on: you should get them! They come with the drink with no additional charge if you just ask, and they're soft yet chewy. They were a tiny bit smaller than other pearls I've had but I think that's what makes it more enjoyable! Waffle: It came with vanilla ice cream (you can get froyo if you want!), kiwi, bananas, strawberries, chocolate syrup, and sliced almonds. The waffle itself was dense but not to the point where it was gross and not crispy. I would get it again if I was in the area, and the price ($5.99) was alright considering how much was topped on. I had to share this with my cousin and we were both trying to get each other to eat the last bites.** AMBIENCE: Pretty quiet yet spacious location. We beat the rush and the drinks took awhile to come out but we later realized it was because they wanted to give us our waffle at the same time. TLDR: Wouldn't be my first choice, but wouldn't be my last. If you're looking for good boba, this is not the place. Their boba is literally flavorless. The male owner of the place is a jerk as well. Horrible horrible customer service. I work in customer service, you're supposed to allow your customers to enjoy/finish their food/smoothies for at least 10 min after closing time.
