We Customized a Boba and karaoke night for Villa Park women's league new members. The owner and Brian our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything set up and an open tab to try different Bobas and teas. Our small but mighty group tried several things and were all pleased, esp adding in the lychee. The super cute logo on each cup sealed the deal. We will definitely be back and bring more friends.

After watching the Enhypen VR concert at Cinemark nearby, we wanted some boba at a spot with decent indoor seating. I remembered BobaTEAque from previous cup sleeve events (that I couldn't attend) and that it was nearby, so off we go! I ordered the Rose TGY oolong milk tea ($6.50) with 25% sugar and less ice and boba topping ($0.75). They were also cool enough to use my reusable tumbler for my boba drink so I can avoid another single use plastic cup. Drink was refreshing and just what I needed on a hot day! Plenty of seating inside. Restroom available for customers. Only downside is no food on the menu if you wanted some snacks. However, they were okay with outside food that my friend, who hadn't eaten lunch yet, bought from a nearby store, so appreciate them allowing that.

Great Boba spot. They have an interesting option to tryout, it's their KoKoNutz item. Harris was an excellent representative of this company. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his product and boba in general. If ypu need guidance on a solid ratio of boba to cheese foam, ask Harris.

A++ service and the drink was absolutely divine. They KNOW TEA. I don't even know what drink I got but the owner made a personalized one according to my taste. I never finish a big drink but this one is gone. Very clean shop and the staff were friendly.

Tried this place out for an afternoon pick me up. It's a cute and clean place with a self order kiosk. The menu was extensive but we tried the teas. Flavor was good and adjustment to 50% sweetness was good. However, I was not a fan of the hard boba. It was a bit off putting as I am used to fresh, soft and chewy boba when I am being charged extra for it.

Ordered a fruit tea and smoothie tea. The smoothie was basically an average milkshake. It was fine, nothing special. Would not get smoothie style from them The passion fruit tea with boba (had to pay extra for boba, hate when boba stores nickel and change. ). Was alright. With so many boba joints all around, widoesjt stand out. Won't return.

got the TGY oolong tea latte because it seemed the most unique but the tea was not very strong and tasted more watered down and milkier (main reason for the 3 star). the server was really nice and answered my questions including the tea latte uses regular milk vs. the milk tea which uses a nondairy creamer. he also recommended 100% sweet for me because my usual is a 75% at other boba places. i did like that they have big tables so my party of 9 was able to hang out there for awhile.

Had the jasmine green milk tea and my partner got the the rose oolong milk tea, both ordered at 75% sweetness. The jasmine had a delicious light floral taste. I am not a fan of rose flavor but my partner really enjoyed their rose flavored drink. Neither of the drinks were too sweet which was nice as some boba places make you feel like you're drinking straight sugar. The guy who worked there was nice and gave us some suggestions and recommendations as it was our first time going there. The drink was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was half done lol

Y come here you ask?! Bryan with a Y is Y!! Bryan was a super kind, professional, and knowledgeable on the drinks here! It was our first time so we had lots of questions and he kindly answered them all and gave us some recommendations. We had the Peach Green Tea which was super refreshing. Regular sugar was a nice balance but extra sugar is suggested for those that like their drink on the sweeter side. We also tried their Ceylon Black Milk Tea which we really enjoyed (it's your standard milk tea). This place is a must try great service and great drinks! Will be back! This place has had a definite upgrade from before. Although there are not many drinks or toppings on the menu, certain drinks are delectable. I would recommend getting the icy milk boba pudding. Also the price is quite reasonable. I will definitely be back. read more

I ordered the fresh milk Ceylon black tea with boba Boba was perfect texture and the tea blended nicely with the fresh milk the cup comes in one size but the amount is well portioned and fits in the cup holder without a problem. The best boba I have ever tried, hands down. I've come to this place almost every day for the past 6 months, and the service NEVER disappoints. I feel very at home and welcome each time I come here. I've only tried one drink here, but I've tried it multiple times on different days and it tasted the same, so I can vouch for the consistency. Their ceylon milk tea is honestly really good, but the flavor is very light (which is surprisingly not a bad thing here). Normally I prefer a stronger tea, but the light flavor somehow meshes so well with the amount of sweetener and milk (which I believe they use actual dairy, but I can't be too sure). I found myself craving it over my usual favorite milk tea places. I want to try more drinks here, but I can see myself gravitating towards the ceylon milk tea next time I come. Also, their customer service is top tier. I went in once and the next time I came back (about a week or so later), the guy working remembered me and my order. They also deliver your drinks to your table :) Overall, a 5/5 experience. I'll be coming back even though it's 17 miles out of the way. read more

My friends and I went here after a water polo tournament in Villa Park, not knowing a thing about this establishment. When we entered we were greeted with a genuine welcome and left with knowledge of Boba's history. The owners have experience with traditional boba/tea and implement their knowledge into their business. Once we got our Cheese Foam Black Tea Boba, the owner went out of his way to teach us the correct way to enjoy the drink. We ended up in a conversation about the history of boba and teas and how this young couple is trying to expose people to the traditional ways of boba. The boba is not too bitter, not too sweet, but somehow hits the " sweet spot" and finds a happy medium between the two. For most places, a few hours of traffic won't compensate for the food, but this place is worth the drive. I recommend BobaTEAque if you want your money's worth. read more

I love boba and I always try new places. I didn't have a favorite boba place but this one officially became my favorite go to. They are so unique in drinks as well as boba having it be a golden color than the usual brown. The people who work there are so nice. I recommend this place to anyone who loves boba as much as I do. I can't wait for their grand opening! This is just the soft opening. I got a peach green tea and although it looked milky, it was nothing but fruity all the way and it had such a great taste considering how simple it was. The cutest boba shop in Orange!! Their boba is always chewy and fresh and the tea is just as great too. They are also very flexible with orders and will offer you more than 100% sweetness if you ask. I usually get the TGY Oolong milk tea but I recently went out of my comfort zone with a Mango Green tea and I was very impressed. The owner, Harris, is the sweetest guy ever. Be sure to have a conversation with him while you're in there for the full experience! I will definitely come again! read more

I got the peach green tea with boba at 50% sugar. The boba is clear which I've never had. It was pretty good though. Not super syrupy which I liked and you can taste the tea and peach flavoring very nicely without being over whelmed. They were really friendly in there. Only potential downside is there weren't too many options on the menu but they had enough for variety. read more

The couple that runs this place takes pride in the quality of their teas and ingredients and it shows. While the menu is quite simple, which I like, there is something for everyone. Drinks are customizable, i.e., less sugar, less ice, add-ons, etc. My family loves this place over all the other tea places. It's been a while since I've written a yelp review, but I felt like I needed to write one for this boba place because it was our first time here today, and I noticed that the owner knew everyone in line and would say hi to them by name. He definitely has very loyal customers, and I can see why. He was really informative and nice, and you can tell that owning a boba shop was his passion. I had their cheese foam green tea with boba and it was excellent. We're not from the area but when we visit again in a few weeks, we'll definitely stop by this boba shop again. Saw a review of this place and they were near my home. I was having tacos near by so we stopped in and got a milk tea drink. The boba was white and it was chewy and their drink was tasty. The service was superb and the cleanliness was excellent. Overall a good experience. Not sure if they had a stamp card or not but I would come back for more. The cup was tall and slim. read more

What drew me to this establishment was their ovaltine smoothie. I've only gone to a very small handful of places that have this on their menu. It's my absolute favorite thing to get here, and I've gotten my friends hooked on it too. It's not too sweet to begin with so I usually get 100% sweetness for this drink (whereas for other boba shops I usually opt for 50% sweet for their milk teas). The boba is also always fresh and has great taste and texture. The owners are so kind and welcoming. Hands down one of my favorite boba places in OC. read more

My cousin, sister and I stopped by and got the coffee milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and the watermelon green tea and they are all DELICIOUS. They are wiping down all surfaces and drinks before they hand them to you. The young man at the register was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome 10/10 recommend. Wow just wow. First time here today and I am in love ! I tried the peach green tea and the passion fruit green tea and it was amazing. They had the perfect balance of sweetness. The decor: airy. The price: competitive ($4-5 +add-ons). The service: friendly and helpful. While bobaTEAque may only have three "base" teas, there are dozens--if not hundreds--of available customizations. From custom sweetness, to multiple fruity flavors, to a variety of toppings, to non-dairy options...everything you need to make your tea personalized to your taste. One last note--while this has nothing to do with the tea itself, the lid is one of the more useful designs I've seen, with both straw and sipping options included. read more

Absolutely WORST boba place I've ever been to! I'm a hugeee boba fan and have been to almost every boba place in Orange County. As soon as I entered, the owners were extremely unfriendly and rude. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and asked them to change it out and they said they would absolutely not. The whole experience was horrible and I'm definitely never coming back here ever again. Do yourself a favor and go to another boba shop because this one sucks. Terrible drink that I got stuck with. read more

I was craving boba so I yelped the closest boba place to where I was and stumbled upon this place. Very simple menu with just a few but interesting options. I got the jasmine milk tea and it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that it was very milky but it still tasted good! Came here for the first time and got a peach passion smoothie. It took 15mins for my drink to be made. Only two workers on a busy Saturday. The drinks are so good you'll break your diet for it! My new year resolution was to cut out unnecessary sugar but after trying bobateaque, I have decided that I should allow myself at least 1 treat per week or else I would go crazy thinking about it all the time. I have tried all the milk teas (black, green, oolong), the cheese black tea and the matcha. All have been amazing! I can't pick my favorite but the one I'm most impressed with is the Ceylon black milk tea. I've always been a fan of jasmine green tea until here. The owners are so sweet - taking their time answering any questions, providing suggestions and have convinced me that black teas can be amazing too. The drinks are made fresh, using real tea not powder and the milk teas are made with non-dairy creamer. Also, I appreciate the fact that the drinks are not overly sweet. Can't wait for my next cheat day! read more

I think the Royal Thai seasonal blend is sweeter than the normal Thai tea drink. It was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Service was good. They were quick with our drinks. Ambiance was quiet, with a couple sitting at one of the tables.

It's a cute small business which I am always happy to support, but there are many boba shops around which floods the market a bit, and this one was a little pricier than some I have been to, with my drink coming to around $8. I will come back when I am in the area but would not make a special trip for it. I think having a *large chain bakery/milk tea spot* across the street isn't helping, unfortunately. They also have coffee on the menu. - Uji Green Milk Tea with brown sugar boba The brown sugar boba made my eyes light up because it was gooey and flavorful, and reminded me of a favorite boba places that closed down in NA years ago. It went great with the blend of matcha and jasmine, and the tea was strong. Subtly creamy, light jasmine tea, and a bit of matcha earthiness. It made for a fantastic dessert, and was perfect at 50% sweet. - Ruby and Gold with agar boba This is a seasonal blend of pineapple, grapefruit, and magnolia tea. The fruit juices and pulp are super fresh, and it was an amazing morning drink, especially with the bouncy agar boba, which were uneven in shape yet still very easy to get through the straw. At 30% sweet, it was astringent, bitter, and tart enough to delight my tastebuds - I could have this every morning, as it tasted like a mature OJ substitute. If you need a bag, they'll give you a very premium insulated one to-go! Literally everything was perfect, and I can't wait to overindulge in OMOMO next time I visit the area.

We came here after eating at Ohshima next door and were surprised by how clean and nice the inside was. First thing we noticed at the counter was that the menu was simple and easy to understand. Not a super large selection but we prefer this since it seems like the focus is on quality over quantity. We decided on a Black Milk Tea with boba and a Kiwi Green Tea. Both were amazing and reminded me of the quality of boba drinks in Taiwan! Even at regular sugar, the drinks were not super sweet like most drink shops here in the US. The boba was the right "QQ" consistency and the tea was so smooth! Looks like their menu and sweetness scale is definitely more on the traditional Taiwanese boba shop level. We drank them rather quickly as well considering we were pretty bloated from eating dinner already. We'd even say that the drinks were better than some of the ones we had in Taiwan! Also, the service was great and the workers seemed to enjoy their job from the conversations we had! Definitely coming back to this plaza in Orange for sushi and boba soon! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! We've been coming here for years, and even though there are plenty of Boba spots in Irvine just 15 minutes away, this remains our top choice. The boba here is simply the best we've ever had. The drinks are always incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, making each visit a delightful experience.
