We ordered two meals, a barbecue plate and a chicken plate. My wife went to pick them up, and when she got home we opened the bags and discovered they had only given us the sides, none of the main course items. No barbecue, and no chicken. When we called them, we had to argue about it, and they finally agreed to bring out the missing items. By the time they finally got them to our house about 45 minutes later, which is only a couple mile drive from from their restaurant, All the items were ice cold. This place is super slow. I walked in and asked how long it would take for a half rack of ribs to go. They said 20-25 minutes. I passed. A week later I ordered ahead online. It said it would be ready at 1:58 pm. Not ready when I walked in at 2:15, finally got it at 2:25, about 50 minutes after ordering online, and not during a lunch rush. I know ribs take awhile to cook but compare this to Shane's Rib Shack where your order is ready in a few minutes from ordering and this place can't compete. You guys need a better operation. The ribs were ok. The fries were mushy and flavorless, I think undercooked. I ordered fried winds with hot sauce and it was just fired chicken with sauce poured over it. Onion rings were just ok too. We ordered the Sampler Plate. Brisket and Ribs were very tender. Food was good and tasty, good portions and good value. Service was slow and restaurant had no air conditioning today. I think they should have offered a free dessert since our dine in experience was a bit uncomfortable due to no AC! Two stars is tough for me for this restaurant because their food is amazing. However, they do not understand the concept of having food ready when it's requested. Despite loving the food, I quit ordering from them for this very reason and haven't been back for over six months, when I last had to wait 45 minutes past the order time. I decided to try again, and here I am outside waiting again over 35 minutes beyond my pick-up time - with no end in sight. They have my money - and a very nice tip - so I guess I have to wait and because I have a family gathering waiting for food. I do not want to write this review but at this point, I feel that it's the only way to effectively implement some change. The food is good however the service is horrible. The wait for food is way too long-even when you call ahead. From what I've assessed, it seems to come from a lack of organizational flow. The staff possess zero urgency to fulfill orders and the phone rings with no commitment to getting people in and out. I literally was on hold one time for 45 minutes and when walking into the restaurant, still on hold, I noticed the phone off the hook while the server was slowly pouring BBQ sauce into containers. I stepped away for a few months and I am now here- you guessed it- waiting for my food from an order I placed almost a hour ago. I'm looking at the employee now-mask down, causally taking orders without any urgency. Long story short- do better. I hope this reaches management. I can't even describe their yumminess, beyond the typical beans, the sauce, seasonings, chopped up onions, peppers...I could live on those beans, they are so good and the slaw, another mix of secret seasoning heavenliness!! It wasn't just your standard run-of-the-mill slaw. Different cabbages well chopped, slightly sweet mayo mixture, I think I found some chopped pickles in it too. Just the right perfect blend of flavors. I'm writing this review on the second night of enjoying the leftovers from Thursdays fantastic dinner and I'm so glad there was enough to enjoy it twice. Sadly, it's all gone now but lucky for me, Bobbee-Os is a quick ten minute drive so you can be sure we'll be enjoying their food again (and again!) now that I've discovered them. Decided to try this place for lunch today. Top notch service from the moment I walked in. All the staff, and my server specifically, we very friendly and attentive. I decided to go with the sampler as I usually do in BBQ places to get a overall taste of their Q. Well, at least my big 4 for determining BBQ quality, Brisket slices, burnt ends, pulled pork, and ribs. I was a bit surprised to see the brisket was either or, I couldn't get both. I ended up with burnt ends which also surprised me as they came all broken up in a cup instead of the 1x1 cubes I usually see. Other than those surprises all was as expected. As for the taste of everything, it was good solid bbq fair. Honestly, a little short on the smoke flavor you want in good bbq, more relying on the sauce for the extra punch in flavor, but still good. Very disappointed. Ordered food on a Saturday night. Not that busy considering. Was told that we could get curbside. Promised at 7:37pm. We arrived on time and called. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I just went inside. The music was so loud you had to practically scream to get heard. Waited another 10 minutes or so before I got to the counter. Not a long line, just not recognized. Told them my name and waited some more. And waited. They asked my name again. I waited. They asked me again. "For the third time, the name is..." That's when it really went downhill. Skinny white lady told me I was being disrespectful. I told her I meant no disrespect, but I had been waiting quite a while. Another lady came out, skinny black lady. Asked my name again. I told her I wasn't giving it out again. The skinny white lady yelled my name to the back. The other lady kept asking my name and I kept saying "Don't." Finally I said, "Ma'am, I just want my food." She said they were working on it. I said, "No, you're standing here arguing with me about my name." (Saw a lot of workers just standing around.) It was now at least 8:05pm. Again, skinny white lady said I was being disrespectful. I said, "Ma'am, I just want my food and I don't think the other lady should have been a smart a--." More drama. Finally. I was told My food was coming. I was honestly so angry, I just stared and didn't say anything. Another very nice young lady finally brought me my food and apologized for the wait. I just took the food and left without saying anything. Finally got my food at 8:10pm, 33 minutes after it was promised. And again, they weren't that busy. And to beat all, the food was mediocre at best. There are much better BBQ places in the area with much better service and food. They offer a various sauces such as hot BBQ, BBQ, spicy, etc. I love the BBQ it's very good when dipped into the smoked wings. I had the Mac&Cheese and yams. The Mac&Cheese is delicious and very cheesy and the yams were just ok. Customer service was great also. I got all of this whole platter for 7.99 plus tax. You cant beat the prices. Probably never would've found this jewel if it wasn't for COVID. Facts; ordered a full slab of STL Ribs, with the option they offer which is adding a couple fried wings. I will let you who should interested to search their menu and discover all the amazing options, sides and choices. I chose fried wings because that's how I found them in my Yelp search. Added a side called Mac salad as well as potato salad, a corn bread muffin and the option with slight up-charge, of extra sauces. Here's the best part. It's all amazing! The quality of the food, the taste, and attention to detail-every sauce was individually labeled. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, full of flavor with just the right amount of sauce they came with. I didn't need extra sauce nor did I want to ruin how they arrived. The wings were large plump and full of flavor. It was hard to decide whether to eat them with or without dipping into one of the three sauces I requested. The Mac salad was a great surprise. Has a little kick but I would recommend it. The potato salad brought back memories. After standing in line 15 minutes the clerk rudely said "We closed at 9 except for online orders." People in line say they waited 50 minutes to two hours for orders. They were clearly overwhelmed. I sympathize. So don't make your situation worse. LOCK THE DOORS at 9 or put a sign on the door "closed - online pickups only." Don't let hungry customers wait with your door wide open THEN say we're closed. Don't refuse to serve me when I'm already inside. Don't walk away rudely ("hand to the face") when I ask why your door was unlocked. And DON'T tell me it was locked. (How did I get inside?) Hope the BBQ is worth it - I'll never know. I got there at 3:40 and spent about 45 minutes waiting, for food I already called and ordered that they never even started. I asked for a refund after waiting for about 30 minutes, that's when I was actually given some type of concern for my order. I was told that they are very busy which is hard to believe, as there were only 4 other customers in the building at the time. Two were eating at a table and the other two were waiting like me so that cannot be a valid reason. Now let's discuss the food, I got a half chicken and half brisket with a small Mac n cheese and collard greens. The chicken was dry. The brisket was fatty and came in a tub of grease.
