I was in the area and wanting to eat breakfast so I came here. Luckily the place was not busy and was able to order food quickly and the wait time to be served was very short. I ordered their breakfast burrito with meat but did customize it by asking for them to not add ham to it. The burrito tasted amazing. To drink, I simply ordered a coffee

I needed a crunchy taco, and Bobby's Place does tacos. This is a big spot with plenty of tables and the service is friendly and helpful. I ordered the Crunchy Taco with ground beef, a Chicken Street Taco and a Bean & Cheese Burrito. All of it was tasty. My only issue is the salsa. While the roja salsa was ok, the creamy verde salsa was not to my taste. Unfortunately there are only two options (no Cholula, Tapatio, or even Tabasco). Oh well, there is a Ralph's next store, so despite that, the food was good and next time, I will try a burger. Bobby's Place is A'OK!

Our friends like going to Bobby's, we ordered burgers and chicken burritos. Burgers looked good and the burritos had good seasoning. Parking is located behind the building and is shared with a Chinese food restaurant and nail salon if you can't figure out how to park for it. Staff is friendly and helpful, they've got cool artwork on the walls. Fries were a little underdone in my option for smaller steak fries. And they needed to have fans going when hot. We opened the door to get a breeze.

One of my coworkers recommended this spot for lunch. I'd had their breakfast tacos once before--they were tasty but on the small side. This time, I went for the Ortega Burger (sourdough bread, jalapeño sauce, Ortega chile, grilled onions, and cheese) and some fries. The burger was super good--the crispy sourdough bread and spicy chiles were a great combo. The fries were awesome too, and they really hooked it up--I had more than enough to share with my coworkers. Great spot for a quick burger/lunch. I can definitely see myself ordering this burger again. Plus, it was super easy to call in for a quick pickup!

Came in just before closing and enjoyed all the food! The guys were super nice, and recommended 1/2 onion rings and 1/2 zucchini. The double Ortega burger was on my list of things to try. They surprised me by bringing out some fries so I could try them! Everything is delish, but the star of the show is definitely the house beer batter on the rings and *especially* the zucchini. Not sure what kind of culinary chemistry is happening, but this is the best fried zucchini I've ever had. My words were "the batter on the zucchini HITS!!" They go so perfectly together. The batter is reminiscent of Burger Parlor in Fullerton (RIP). When the batter is crispy in some places but ultimately melts in your mouth, I'm all in. It's a very difficult thing to perfect. Have missed those rings and have never found an equal. Until now. But trust me on the zucchini!!! You get soft batter that smoothly transitions into the softness of the zucchini. Just exquisite. I'll be back for jalapeño fries and more of that zesty zucchini!

Burger cooked to order perfectly! Definitely try the onion rings a fried zucchini- they make their own batter, nice and light.

It's been many years since I've visited Bobby's formally Ricks. But I was passing by today and wondered if they still had the best fries in town. So I stopped and ordered the cheeseburger combo. And well...they didn't disappoint. Best fries in town fried lightly crisp just how I remembered them. My burger was tasty and my coke was nice and carbonated. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch while I was driving.

It looks like it is a hole in the hall kind of place, but it is massively popular with a lot of foot traffic. It must have been spread by word of mouth and for good reason. Service: they are very very quick with making the food. You order outside and pick up inside. Ambiance: there is plenty of space for parking as well as the restaurant itself. Lots of seating inside and some outside as well. They have a bar for you to get sides, utensils, and Togo stuff. Food: they are famous for their breakfast burritos, I ended up getting a burrito two ways with bacon and sausage. It was HUGE! It was bigger than my forearm and the food was so so good. The sausage was whole and juicy, the bacon was crispy and not burnt, the eggs were moist and flavorful, and the tortilla was warmed on the grill. The portions are MASSIVE the burrito can definitely be shared between two people. It ended up being $14 but with it shared between two people that comes out to be $7 per person so very affordable. Overall, this place is very good if you're in the mood for a breakfast burrito. The quality is fantastic and the price is amazing.

This is a burger joint with a diverse menu, including one of the biggest breakfast burritos in town. I got my burrito with bacon. The burrito comes with hashbrown style potatoes, eggs and cheese - you get a choice of ham, bacon or sausage for your meat (or have it without meat). The bacon was crispy and remained crispy when I reheated my other half. Not only is the bacon crispy, the burrito has a generous amount of it! Oh and the other plus - the tortilla does not come wet and soggy and remains in perfect condition if you have leftovers. The burrito comes with only one salsa and to be honest, you really do need two for such a big burrito. I'm a green salsa girl but I asked what I should go with and I was recommended the red one (the green one is supposedly spicier). The red salsa did not disappoint other than I needed one more for my whole burrito (there's no kick to this salsa but it's tasty). The burrito itself isn't bursting with flavor on its own and it requires the salsa to compliment the other ingredients. But, who eats a breakfast burrito without salsa? There is ample parking in their parking lot and there's seating both inside and outside. I will definitely be returning to satisfy my breakfast burrito craving very soon and if this is what you're looking for - stop reading reviews and go get you one at Lucky Boy (it's served all day).

The burger was genuinely very good--not life-changing gourmet food, but exactly what a classic American burger should taste like. The best way I can describe it is like an elevated old-school burger. I thought I already reviewed the best burger in Pasadena!…read more On my first visit, a standard burger was $3.95. I forget what it is now-- $6??? As good as this burger is, it's still a deal. Super Burger is owned by a super-nice Korean family. There are various Korean dishes in their menu available but I only go there for the burgers. What makes their simple burgers so great? First off the burger patty-- the patties are formed in-house. The cooked patties have that irregular edge that can only come from being hand-formed; imperfect and delicious. These aren't the frozen discs delivered by a freezer truck. The ratio of the ingredients are ideal. -- The tomato is sliced to the perfect thickness -- The freshly-shredded lettuce doesn't manspread and take up too much of the burger's real estate -- The thousand island dressing marries the freshness of the veggie section to the animal part perfectly -- The burger patty's girth is appropriately balanced for the other ingredients. -- Their buns have that old-school yeast(?) flavor not available in stores. Their burgers are lovingly prepared and assembled with care. This is why whenever I go, there are always people there. Seating is strictly patio style, looking out onto the intersection of Altadena and Villa. There lot is small lot next to the stand. I'm not sure if it's shared with another business. Street parking is available. Even though super burger is basically a corner burger stand with patio seating, the place is always clean. Super Burger is definitely a sure thing. It is the finest example of what a basic, standard burger can be. Bun, burger patty, lettuce, tomato, and dressing doesn't get better than this.

In my 20's I lived right up the street and hit them up quite often. I don't get there as much as I'd like nowadays but when I do, it is always consistently great. They are always stacked with lots of high quality cold cuts and delicious Provolone, crisp shredded Lettuce, thin sliced Onions and Vinegar and Oil on a delicious French Roll. In my teens and 20's I did try many samplings on their vast menu and as memory serves, everything was always delicious. Today's Grinder absolutely hit the spot!
