I walked in and was a bit nervous. The prices seemed high and the woman at the counter had trouble making change. My misgivings were overcome when I got my burger! It was good but over priced! Probably will go there to order the garlic fries. I asked for a well done burger and it was still pink! Waited 30 min for our food. My husbad asked for no onions or tomato and light lettuce well his burger had all the veggies! My daughter too! The food is really good. The portions are huge so you get your money's worth. The staff for the most part are friendly. What I don't like is how dirty and run down it is, especially for how new it is. The bathroom is awful. It's dirty, unkempt, there is water all over the floor most likely due to th sink that I heavily leaking. Last time I went there they finally put a bucket underneath it but not fixed. I've been there 3 times over a four week period and the sink has leaked since the first time I visited. Second the tables and the backsplash next to the tables are also dirty. And have been since the first visit. I hope they fix these issues because I need the restaurant I eat at to be sanitary. read more

Nice Mom&Pop burger spot, the garlic fries are on point, not greasy and covered in some garlic sauce, they use sum type of garlic salt. Burger was good but a little messy, definately not a car date type of meal. read more

Just called today 6/2/19 @ 7pm they don't close for an hour and I got hung up on twice. When I finally called for the 3rd time the woman gave me a nasty attitude when I asked if I was going to be able to place an order or was she just going to hang up on me. She said "if I say hello and you don't say it back I'm hanging up!" I told her " I have the call right here, it lasted 2 seconds and the second call was 8 seconds and I just kept repeating hello!" We are a family of 4 and now thanks to her rude ass we will never eat there again. The habit is just up the street and taste even better! read more

Absolutely positively one of the best chilli Cheese burgers and chilli cheese fries I have had in a loooooong time. The meat was perfectly seasoned the fries werent too crispy but not to soft. We ordered grub hub and we were not disappointed!! The burgers were so moist and delicious! They put a good amount of blue cheese on the blue cheese burger, where some places you can barely taste it. When we brought the food in the house, the house smelled amazing from the garlic fries. The only complaint we had was the bottom of our buns had flour on them, so it left kind of a chalky texture to it. But that might have just been a one time thing. We are definitely going to be going to this restaurant again!! read more

Absolutely fantastic burger last weekend. Added the Swiss cheese with mushrooms and bacon. I was very hungry and this smashed it out of the ball park. My only suggestion would be to tweak the fries a little. Maybe copy what five guys do. I'll be back to try the milk shakes and other burgers too. Just passing through while visiting family in the area, and my folks wanted a burger. Looked this place up since Web's didn't look open. This was definitely the better choice. Clean tables, friendly and attentive staff, and more importantly fresh and tasty burgers. That 4 for $24 deal is a fantastic option for a regular sized family. Well one HUGE red flag was the cook was taking an order dealing with the register then went to the grill without washing his hands where he was touching my sons food with bear unwashed hands. I didnt like this at all. He looked to be a young man maybe new don't know don't care when you're dealing with a register and money a lot to germs can be on those bills and the register. Personal opinion When you're cooking on a grill don't touch the register with bare hands. The female worker I noticed washed her hands after she was done touching anything but the grow and the food. I really appreciate the effort she put into keeping your hands clean means a lot to me as a mother to know my son's food is clean. read more

I work in this shopping center and it is soooo hard to not eat at Bob's everyday! I have been twice now and both times it was delicious. The classic cheese is probably my favorite cheeseburger in Modesto. I've also tried the blue cheese - so good! It's a little messier but there's nothing wrong with that! Have gotten the garlic fries each time, can't resist! They're so crispy and yummy. The onion rings are good too! Perfect crunch and not oily. My only complaints are the ranch and the thin napkins. There is something off about the ranch, I couldn't even eat it this last time. I like a tangy ranch, this one tastes like mayonnaise with herbs. The napkins are so small and thin that I end up using 10+. Obviously these are small things and definitely will not deter me from coming back and telling everyone I know to try it! read more

So.. 1st time here. I went based on the previous reviews. I was not all impressed with their menu. I wanted mushrooms on my burger and they said they did not use mushrooms. I came in with my little girl and i was clearly asking her what kind of burger she wanted. I asked if there was a kid's menu. I was told no. So i continued to order her a GIANT burger. As I waited for the burgers I then see a flier that said kids eat free with the purchase of a giant burger combo (which I got 2) and it was Tuesday. They failed to tell me that. However my biggest complaint is that I was not impressed with the fact that the kid who was cooking was using his bare hands to touch the food. He realized he put the wrong cheese on one of my burgers so he removed it with his hands and slapped the other cheese on the same way. The only reason why I am giving it one star is that the boys at the counter were at least respectful. read more

My husband and I came here and loved it. Great service. They accidentally made chili cheese fries when we had ordered regular cheese fries and they let us have the extra chili cheese fries for free as well as the cheese fries we ordered. This was my first time here. I ordered a cheeseburger. The shakes are $1 off during this weeks special, I didn't get one but the cashier said people order the Snickerdoodle flavor the most. The staff was friendly. It was quiet when I went in just a couple of families. Definitely a larger burger, maybe slightly larger than Carl's Jr. Size. I will be back to try other items on the menu.
