This was by far one for the best pizza's I've ever had. The margarita was outstanding. I'd rate it a 9.5 The sauce was fresh tomato flavor, cheese was gooey and fresh, the crust was light and crispy and flavorful. The owners were so sweet and they were very eager to hear my review, since it was my first time there. If you are in the area, don't skip this mom n pop pizza at its best!

Why haven't I been here sooner?! The grandma sicilian is delicious. The mozzarella is fresh and not salty like all those processed cheeses. The plum tomatoes are so delicate and sweet. And the crust is so crispy yet soft on the inside. They also don't skimp on the basil. Hands down has got to be the best grandma pie I have had. I used to frequent Fort Lee pizza for the grandma but now i have found something closer to home and even better. Can't wait to try the thin crust pies and wings!

Bob's Thin Crust is EVERYTHING!!!! This pizzeria is a throwback to when NYC pizza was the best! The crust is thin and crispy. The sauce is savory with just the right amount of tang and sweetness. The cheese is the perfect blend of mozz and pecorino. I love the regular pie and the fresh mozz! I absolutely ADORE Bob and his wife who run the shop and do it all. This pizzeria reminds me of Difara's in Brooklyn...one man making it all, artisan in every way!!! This pizza is worth a trip!!!! AMAZING!!!

My new go to for Pizza. Great pizza, nice owners and my kind of store front, reminiscent of pizza shops in mystic connecticut.

Really enjoyed the food here on Mother's Day…read more Made a reservation for an early dinner online, for outside seating. Didn't think to check if they were honoring that given the holiday, since it turned out to be first come first serve no reservations. Inside reservations were being taken, there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Our party of 3 ordered the octopus and an arugula salad as an appetizer. The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed. We probably could've used a bit more attention from the waiter after we were seated, as we would've liked another cocktail, but overall a great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Thing is, seating and service leave a LOT to be desired. We had a reservation, the place was empty, and they still weren't ready for us. My impression is this is one of those places where the chef knows how to cook, but rules with an iron fist and has no clue how to train or empower a staff to be focused on the diners' experience. The place was a ghost town when we went in this week, and my prediction is this place doesn't have long to live.

I picked a beautiful spot, and almost immediately Kenny brought me sparkling water, complimentary eggplant caponata, and bread that tasted like it had been baked by someone in heaven! I started with the Millefoglie Di Melanzane "Alla Mamma Carolina"--thinly layered eggplant, San Marzano D.O.P. tomato sauce, and 18-month Parmigiano Reggiano. I make eggplant Parmesan at home, but this was on an entirely different level. Absolutely out of this world. As a special favor, they also prepared a half portion of Buccatini Carbonara for me: Roman-style bucatini with guanciale, egg, Pecorino Romano, and black pepper. My only complaint? I didn't get the full portion! It was outstanding. For my main course, I ordered the Costatella Di Cervo, a marinated venison chop with red wine, juniper berries, and herbs, chargrilled and served over soft Ribiola cheese polenta with port wine and fresh figs. I normally wouldn't order venison, but I am so glad I took the chance. It was spectacular--tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Dessert was the Italian ricotta cheesecake, and I had a decaf cappuccino with foam that was like whipped cream The restaurant itself is charming and beautifully decorated, the service is truly exquisite, and the food is beyond belief. Kenny, Kimberly, and the entire team made my birthday dinner an experience I won't forget. I am so happy I found this gem in Sparkill! I can't wait to come back.

We feel that they genuinely appreciate us. The view of the Hudson only adds to an already great experience. The food was amazing. My favorite is the Seafood Tower for Two. Sitting right on the marina, with the water and boats in view, gave me just enough of a "beach" feeling to pretend I was back on the Cape. It brought back some wonderful beach memories. The food was decent - we had crab cakes and a lobster roll - and the prices felt fair for Piermont, although, as you'd expect with the waterfront location, they're a little higher than what you'd pay in neighboring towns. This is definitely old-school dining: no fancy food trends or reinvented dishes, just the standard seafood-and-American fare you'd expect. And honestly, sometimes that's exactly what you want. Service was attentive, although a little slow when their system went down and they had to go back to old-school math to figure out the bills. The view is the real star. One thing I wish people would stop doing, though, is feeding the ducks bread. It may seem harmless, but bread fills birds up without giving them the nutrition they need and can actually make them unhealthy. Enjoy watching them, just let them find their own dinner. Another big plus: easy parking! Unlike much of Piermont, there's a huge lot, so you don't have to circle the village looking for a spot. And Marel, the owner, is a doll. The place has been family-owned for decades, which makes supporting it feel even better. So no, this isn't a destination for fancy dining. It's old-school, casual, waterfront Piermont, and on a warm summer night with a frozen drink in your hand and the Hudson in front of you, that has its own kind of charm.

We had never been there and he knew from asking on greeting us. After placing our meal order he told us we needed to modify it because a main entree was required for the table we had reserved by the water. (BTW, that specification wasn't on the online reservation request, but whatever). He proceeded to edit out the items he thought we didn't want to eat, and instead of backing off to let us make new selections and returning, he stayed at the table and told us to "just order" the recommended fish of the evening. The junior waiter was way more attentive and kind to us than this jerk. Food was ok, little under seasoned. Won't be returning. ADA note: This place doesn't seem very wheelchair accessible - tight corners trying to get around the dining room tables, there is a step up at the main door and then again to get up to go towards the bar/main dining area. Ladies room doesn't seem large enough to accommodate a wheelchair either.
