To whom this may contact.. for as long as I have been going to Bob's I've always enjoyed the food. Today I go through the drive that and order food for myself and my family, the employee who was working the drive through got my order wrong as I paid for it I noticed that they didn't get a drink I ordered also gave me a regular size instead of the large I ordered. Then when I get home to eat I also notice that there wasn't as much meat on my orders as in the past visits, the food was always piled with meat. Thank you. read more

I don't know which is better the food or the service family-owned family food great portions always hot may wait a little bit longer in the drive-through but that's because it's fresh. The girls working the window or helpful hard-working and very pleasant when I left I had to ask myself why am I going through any other place. Came in thru the drive thru and they got my order wrong of course charging me more so I promptly got off and kindly asked for a refund with full fry and burger in hand well turns out they didn't like that so the fat girl with a tattoo on her neck put me on hold charged another customer then proceeded to the kitchen which is a few steps away lol to tell the boss man that there is an issue when I clearly stated what I wanted the moment I walked in so I explained to him and told him would if he please hurry patna keep in my mind food is getting cold and he ONLY refunded the burger not the fries apparently I didn't put enough back in the bag fry overall they were rude and in capable of running a bigger business due to their ignorance and attitude. This is a very nostalgic place for me. Perhaps that's why I hadn't made a return visit the last decade and a half. In middle school, the routine once the clock struck that magic number of 3 PM, it was off to Grandma's house in North Indio and maybe, just maybe, a trip to that oasis, Bob's for a burger, perhaps a shake, or some chili fries. But I hadn't been back since then. Maybe I didn't want to color my memories of Bob's, or Grandma even. Maybe I forgot I never liked it. Maybe it was apathy. But today I finally built up my nerve and decided to make a glorious return to this vanguard of nostalgia. Going through the drive through line (which wasn't quick mind you, they make it all to order!) and ordered myself a chocolate shake (no malts) and a delux cheeseburger, hold the fries. I gave them my $6 in change and I was on my way back home to consume my latest acquisition. I tried the shake first, and it was delightffully thick. I do have to tell you though, I am a thick shake kind of guy. If you aren't, then 1. Something is wrong with you, 2. Please vacate the country, and 3. Please refer to item 2. Bob's had the texture I wanted. If a shake doesn't give me a brain aneurysm trying to suck it down, then it's garbage. So that's the good. Here's the bad. Hershey's syrup. I HATE when places use this stuff, it seems cheap and lazy and it doesn't taste very good. Here you have the texture nailed down, and you ruin it with this cloying syrup. For shame! Now, the burger. The burger was a good size; I love me a small, compact burger. It was a single patty (no two? I thought this was deluxe!) and the cheese wasn't gloriously melted (come on guys, it's not hard to melt American cheese) but the taste was fine. Cooked to a mad cow free well done, it was good enough. Greatest burger in the desert? Sadly, no. Did it live up to my childhood memories? Again, no. There was just not enough flavor, not enough juice, not enough attention to detail to warrant a return trip any time soon. If I go back, I will not be seeking the burgers out. read more

Very Disappointed... I went with my family my wife wanted a breakfast burrito and they told her no they were to busy to make that. She asked if it was only during breakfast hours and Waiter said no because they didn't want to clean the grill to make the eggs. Even though we seen they were making pancakes. This a great place to eat. Reasonably priced also. Delicious food ! Small hole in the wall place but you know they care about everything they cook to make it to perfection. I was down the road at the truck stop looking for a good breakfast jumped on yelp and found them I got there breakfast burrito which was so bomb !! They also have truck parking next to them so if ur a driver. U can easily pull up next to them and get ur self a meal Way better then any fast good in the area. And cheaper !!! We stopped here one afternoon for a quick lunch while on a wildflower viewing trip. It had a "been here forever" local's type of a look to it, so we gave it a shot. Its precisely what we wanted. Fast, inexpensive, and tasty. Its the consummate burger shack, with a Tex-Mex flair. For $5 I got a BLT sandwich and small soft drink. The BLT was topped with a pickled jalapeno pepper which we found amusing. The BLT was generously loaded with bacon too, and it was overall quite delicious. My traveling companions got the basic burger, which was nothing really special, but for $1.50, you can't beat it. However, there is MUCH more on the menu to explore. Its not a chain and seemed a bit "off the radar" from the I-10 traveling public, so its less likely to be terribly crowded like the McDonalds and such along the way. This place is definitely on my radar for future "lunch stops" while traveling. read more

Well, what can I say? Basically, its a mom and pop version of Del Taco. Affordable, greasy, a little boring. Building has that rustic, hole in the wall vibe. Definitely in "old" Indio. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, large fries, drink, and a fish taco. My order came out to $10.00 and change. The bacon was crispy. The burger patty was tiny - think McDonalds happy meal. Came with the usual mayo, lettuce, tomato. They charge $3.50 (about) for something that would be on the Wendy's value menu for $2.00 less. It was tasty, but small. Fries are the zig zag fries from a freezer bag, but crispier than Del Taco's. Very greasy. Fish taco was essentially a clone of the Del Taco version, except it came with a lemon instead of a lime, and a wedge of tomato instead of pico de gallo. Very Americanized. I imagine that their Mexican menu is about as authentic as the Bakers chain (based on this visit). The menu is extensive. This review is only based on one visit, one meal. I will probably try it again some time just for good measure, but I am not impressed. Advice from a local: Andy's #4, Goody's, Farmer Boys and Castanedas (for Mexican), are better options than Bob's Twin Kitchen. read more

I always try to support local restaurants but after my 4th visit in 2yrs in done with this spot. I only eat fries once a month and chose Bob's Only because its down the street from home. I requested "fresh fries" because the last two times I came here they were old, cold and greasy. When I got home to enjoy my cheat day, again with the old, cold and greasy fries. SMH read more

I've been coming to Bobs Twin Kitchen ever since I was a kid! A great fast food restaurant ran by the Jauregui family who are the friendliest people to meet and very welcoming. Bobs twin kitchen serves everything from hamburgers and fries to Mexican style dishes like taquitos, tacos, and burritos. They also serve all types of salads and a bunch of appetizers as well including a delicious milk shake! One thing that stands out is they deliver! Which I think is awesome for a fast good joint. Come on by and ask for there famous Healy burger or there taquito deluxe! read more

Stayed at the Fantasy Springs casino with a group but didn't want to have breakfast there, one of my friends found this little gem. A bit off the beaten path but worth it. Bitty place seats about 15? inside. All decked out in football decor and large TV screens. Food was great and the service was top notch. They were soooo nice! Best BLT in the valley! Their fries are amazing as well. I am sucker for a good crinkle fry. Occasionally, there is a bit of a wait time between ordering and receiving food but they make everything on the spot. No microwave magic or heat lamp lies here. Their menu is HUGE!
