    Honey lavender latte
    Ania N.

Bodevi Wine & Espresso Bar is such a little gem. It's the perfect spot when you want a relaxing vibe but still want good food and drinks. They've got a fun mix of wine/champagne and coffee/espresso drinks, plus easy bites like cold sandwiches, bagels, pastries, and avocado toast (you can add a boiled egg too). The staff is always genuinely sweet, and the music is consistently mellow in the best way never too loud, just a nice background vibe. It feels like the kind of place people come to meet up or get work done (lots of laptops). One note: the internet isn't great unless you're on their WiFi, so definitely connect when you get there. My go-to orders: the loaded avocado toast and the pistachio burrata sandwich both are seriously delicious. Drink-wise, I love the matcha and the lavender honey latte. Only small complaint: I wish they used bigger plates! The toast/sandwiches come on dessert-size plates, so it can get messy because there's barely any room... and they add orange slices which takes up the little space that's left I've had food end up on the table (and my lap) more than once. That said, I keep coming back. Great vibe, great staff, and really tasty food + drinks.

Bodevi is such an adorable coffee and wine spot. The staff is welcoming and friendly. i decided to order their Matcha Latte( so good). i will definitely be coming back to have a glass of wine and cheese board. you don't find these types of places in the SFV that's for sure.

What an excellent place to get work done or chat with some friends. I had the pleasure to visit on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a honey lavender latte and a pistachio burrata sandwich. Everything was very tasty! There are plenty of outlets under the main bar/counter and the staff is friendly and welcoming!

Came here for it was great! Really loved the layout and decor, very nice for having a lunch with friends or to sit and get work done. I love that music is not loud like some cafes. Food is good, i got the classic avocado toast. Service was good as well. Will definitely come by again and try other food and drinks. Also really loved that they had a display of artworks available for purchase and a detailing of the artists that created them, who are also from the San Fernando community.

I've been here before and had a yummy coffee & pastry. Today I went for an iced matcha & wasted $10 for what tasted like lucky charm milk. $8 just for the latte it's self then an extra $2 when I wanted more matcha to hipefully balance it out & actually taste like matcha. No luck. At all. I tossed the whole thing. I didn't want to bother them for money back, or an alternative drink. Coffee = Good . Matcha = absolutely not

Love the coffee here! I usually get the iced caramel latte and it's perfect, but this last time I was there I ordered the pumpkin spice latte of their fall menu. It was so yummy, it tasted so much like fresh pumpkin puree. The ambiance in here is super relaxed, but I have seen on their IG they sometimes put on pretty cool events. The service is also great, the staff is always super friendly. Lots of parking in the back as well, street parking here can be kind of crazy.

Upon entering i was met with such a warm inviting environment. Couches and comfy chairs welcome you. I got the turkey sandwich to eat which was filling and good size for the price! We also got the banana chocolate loaf...YUM! So good. I got one of the October flavor specials. The Gizmo midnight latte! Candied Pecan was the flavor of the latte, with candied pecans on top. It was so delicious! Such good espresso shots. The latte was so pleasant to drink. I'd return in a heartbeat if I'm in the area!

Another great San Fernando gem! This cozy yet lively spot offers tea, coffee, wine, pastries and a couple of dishes. I really like how they have a private area within the restaurant making it a great study area or possibly reserving it for an intimate dinner or celebration. I love their prosciutto and pesto sandwich so much that even though I have found a hair on my sandwich 2x I still keep going back for it lol. 4 stars because it's happened on 2 different occasions but staff was very accommodating and offered me a new sandwich.

One of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. Rex and Faith are fantastic. The coffee is delicious, truly. The Turkey Sandwich with Sriracha Mayo was outstanding, I loved the bread. My girl loved her Loaded Avocado Toast and she is the pickiest person Ive ever met. Great job. Vibes are super chill and welcoming. If I lived closer Id be a regular for sure.

First time trying this place out, came in for a drink and liked the vibe but the strawberry drink wasn't something I'd come back for. The service was quick and friendly & the ambiance was cute.

First time here and I liked the coffee! Love the vibe in here, for a nice relaxing cup of coffee while just having a nice conversation or focused on your computer for work/ school. Conversation level of noise, and quick and fast service. Small menu but for this small coffee shop in the middle of San Fernando "mall" it's just right. Get your caffeine fix here at Bodevi!

Oh my, a Honey Lavender Latte? Say less!

After a long and tiring drive back home to SoCal from the Bay Area, Bodevi was just the perfect gem of a coffee stop I needed! Nestled within downtown San Fernando, Bodevi is a uniquely cool coffee roaster's refuge and paradise. We ordered the Honey Lavender Latte and Americano and both were excellent. Perfect amount of sweetness and excellent flavor and coffee. The barista is a solid dude and knows his coffee and was wonderful enough to bring out the drinks to us. I Loved the artsy decor, old records, and plants on display. The shop is clean and tidy and also a peaceful spot to get any work done. If I lived around that area of the San Fernando Valley and not in Orange County, I'd frequently visit this spot haha.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the valley! I usually get their hot cafe con miel but today I got the iced earl grey espresso (on left of photo) and my partner got the iced cafe con miel (right of photo). The space is so calm and clean and vibey. And the baristas are so friendly!!

Is this a good place to bring my laptop and work remotely?

I think this is a good remote work location. I've personally worked from Bodevi and found it enjoyable and easy to focus. There are outlets along the bar and I think by a table in the back. I have not taken meetings here though.

Almond butter, banana, & jam toast: sounds amazing but is there strawberry in the jam? I'm allergic to strawberries.

They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. They have a good sized menu and offer a brunch menu on Sundays. (Diane, Sarah needs a bonus, she made the evening much fun).

You probably wouldn't think of one in Valencia, would you. Well, I have been to all of the above and I am telling you, you would be missing out on a one of a kind, out of this world experience that can be had any day of the week at Kindred Spirits, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency. No, I didn't expect it to come anywhere close to the stratospheric experiences you could have were you to choose any wine bar you fancied, but, the minute I got inside, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience that I will want to repeat. First of all, it's downright beautiful. Flawlessly decorated with a chic living room vibe with just the right elements to suggest a curated museum-level sensibility. See my pictures as well as all the others here on Yelp. I spent the entire time noticing little details like the plush velvet banquet, the clubby wing back arm chairs, the art deco artefacts and furnishings, paintings, sculptures, even the ceiling lights were unique and obviously carefully selected. And then there is the stupefying wine and spirits menu that goes on and on. I rarely drink anything alcoholic but I couldn't pass up a taste of one of the exquisite sparkling wines that caught my eye. There is a full range of everything. If you really must have beer, it's there, but! For heaven's sake, try something elevated -- ask for recommendations. You won't be disappointed. However, the star of the entire experience is the menu. Now, remember, I am a lifelong vegetarian. I had fun limiting myself to four choices -- I could have had more were I not on a perpetual diet. You can see what we ordered in my photographs. Each dish was superb, really, first in class. Nonetheless, take a good look at my photographs of the Autumn Apple Tarte -- it is the g.o.a.t., believe me. Not only did it taste celestial but notice the tiny flowers? The chef, Priscilla, is a highly skilled and trained artist, her medium just happens to be delicately flavored and arranged plates of heaven. And Sarah, our attendant took a concierge approach to caring for us. A cosmopolitan playlist provided a lyrical backdrop that just made everything flow like silk. Parking is easy, simply use the Hyatt Convention Center parking lot adjacent to a verdant golf course or their garage, for free. There are two main rooms and we asked for the "lobby"-like large room with a giant table that we had all to ourselves, given we were there in the late afternoon on a Sunday. Even so, clientele were coming and going. It was the golden hour and we were draped in a warm light and cozy but uplifting spirit. The entire experience was flawless. And the tab? Ridiculously reasonable. You may not be headed to Rodeo or Saint-Germain-des-Prés or West 27th street any time soon. So, instead, treat yourself to this epic wine bar. You will thank me, when you do.

We decided to come back with friends but on a Wednesday night at 6:30 instead. Sat at a table in the area where the music was but it was very loud and tightly packed with tables and guests. I could barely hear my friends due to the loud conversations, loud laughter, and just the acoustic affects in the restaurant were bad from that. We ordered steak, sides, and thought baked potatoes but got mashed instead. After we ate dinner we asked the manager if we could seat outside for dessert instead due to the loud noises around us. He brought us there but we had to wait at the bar outside till we were seated took an additional 15-20 minutes. After seated it was better than inside with a nice decor too instead. Dessert was ok service good. For such a high-ended restaurant and pricy food it's only avarage, inside decor pretty but very and tightly packed with guests and loud especially for a week day night kind of unusual, I was disappointed think it's a bit overrated sorry to say. I think Flemings, Ruth Chris, or Morton's are better food wise for the same price and dining experience and not as loud too. Think what could make it better is to thin out the crowded packed affect in the main inside dining area would help a lot too, or, if we ever go back sit outside instead I recommend. The service and staff there were very nice, friendly, and attentive and worked hard during service though. So overall raiting is a 3. Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

I honestly never thought a fish could taste so good. The seabass was charred on the outside and just incredibly soft on the inside. As you barely touch the seabass with the fork, a piece of succulent seabass gets separated simply due to the natural gravity of the fork. The taste is perfect. It's like they somehow cooked it with large piece of butter on the inside. The incredible flavor profile and the consistency of each bite of this seabass, were simply unparalleled. And to add to all this awesomeness, the bed of risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic as well. To finish off our meal, we decided to share their apple tart pastry and it too, was fresh, flavorful and that scoop of ice cream on top, made the pastry just perfect. This place hits a perfect trifecta, with its phenomenal modern design , incredible food and absolutely superb customer service. Our waiter Zach was extremely nice, helpful, attentive and he was just a perfect guide throughout tonight's culinary adventure. My wife and I are more than satisfied and can't wait to come to Casalena again!

We ended up staying until about 9:30 p.m. and never felt rushed or pressured to order more. The staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations, especially considering we were a bit picky -- one vegetarian, one pescatarian, and the other only likes dessert wines!! Definitely coming back with less picky people

Waiter Manuel. This…read moreis a review reflected on you, solely. Being kind is the moral of the story, from the beginning you were passive agressive with your comments and tone. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.

We hosted about 20 people for lunch and everything was delicious. I selected the Rigatoni Bolognese, Chicken Piccata, and Baby Gem Caesar salad for the lunch menu. We also added pizzas for extra options and I brought a cake. I don't like cannolis so bring your own dessert if you're not a cannoli fan! Rose, the event coordinator, was amazing to work with and made the process so easy. Pricing was very fair for the overall experience. The decor during Christmas/new years was beautiful. I highly recommend Urban Press Winery for events or casual dining!

Our server's name if I am not mistaken was Edward. He went above and beyond in providing customer service. He made recommendations on what to order and what their popular food items were. For food, this location is offering brunch now. I can say food was very tasteful. I really enjoyed my waffle. It was so yummy. I can say it was one of the best waffles I had. For ambiance, this location has a very lovely ambiance and decoration. It is perfect for a date night or casual hangout with friends. It is nicely decorated and there is a small water fountain too. They also have private rooms for small events. For parking, there is metered street parking and there are couple of public parking locations available.
