I'm very particular with Thai food and most places, I already expect won't be as good. However, this place surprised me in all positive ways! I was first introduced this place from my friend. I've been here 3 times within the last month! It's that good! Every time I've come, I've ordered something different, and been in love with it each time! My favorite dishes include the chicken wings, pumpkin curry, and Khao soi! However, you really can't go wrong with anything! Additionally, their mango mousse cake is delicious! Service is good and fast too! The only con is parking as it can get tough on certain days but overall, it's great!! Love this place!

Kids were craving Thai food after a day at the museum. Somehow we found this little place and arrived right when they opened for dinner. Service was great and we were seated right away. Started off with the coconut shrimp. Was crunchy and flavorful. Kids liked it so much we had to order a second serving. Son wanted pad see ew as that's his default order at any Thai restaurant we go to. It was just okay. Would probably try something else if I return. The ribeye panang curry was delicious, enjoyed it. Wife got the papaya salad, she enjoyed it but said it wasn't spicy enough. Daughter ordered the tom kha soup with chicken as that is her favorite. It was really good and would definitely get that again. For dessert we had the mango mousse cake. That was also delicious. Highly recommend as we were very hangry when we arrived.

This little hole in the wall is affordable and cozy! I always get greeted with a warm smile and told to sit wherever I like. The service is always hospitable and quick. The food is delicious no matter what you try. My favorite food item to eat are the wings. They come crispy and the basil that is fried with it is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

This Thai restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like dining in a family home than a commercial restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience comfortable from start to finish. The food was good overall, though not particularly memorable. The curry was flavorful and easily the highlight of the meal, while the beef was a bit tougher than expected and could have been more tender. Everything was prepared well, but I felt there was still room for improvement in both flavor and execution. Overall, it's a pleasant neighborhood spot with warm service and a comfortable setting. I enjoyed my visit and would consider returning, but with a few refinements to the food, it could be much better.

Okay yum!!! I'm always skeptical of Thai take out from new spots, but my friend said she got take out here and really enjoyed it! I ordered the pork jowl and panang curry with tofu (it comes with rice). The price is a lil expensive imo for Thai take out (approximately $18-20 each(. The restaurant kinda took forever to make it but it's fine. The panang curry was very well seasoned, mild spice was actually quite mild, lots of soft tofu, and a really nice thick curry texture! Lots of other spots will have a super thin and watery curry, so I was veryyyy pleasantly surprised when I ate it. Also im happy it comes with rice!! The pork jowl... probably a must order for me going forward. I wasn't even going to order it but I saw people posting pics here of it and it looked appetizing so I got it also. So GOOD. There's a yummy char on it, it's sooo tender and juicy and lil fatty. The jeow som sauce it comes with is also SO GOOD, great balance of sweet and sour. Definitely going to be my go-to place to order Thai when im feeling like splurging a bit!

Delicious homey little spot tucked away in Beverly Hills. Love the atmosphere and the music they were playing and the staff was super kind and welcoming! The pad thai was wildly good! Can't wait to come back for more. It is one of my favorite pad thai's i've had, super flavorful and tangy.

My office is close to this bistro and we have been here many times for lunch. They have great lunch specials, their service is fast and their staff are friendly. However, for phone orders they can take long. The restaurant itself feels very authentic and cozy.

The food and service was amazing, really good experience. Small cozy place with extremely delicious food. Really enjoyed it. Definitely will come back and happy I found this gem in the middle of Beverly Hills. They use good ingredients and you can tell the food is clean and prepared well.

Such a cute restaurant with pretty decor. The staff were so nice and friendly. The food was wonderful too. Street parking is also easy. We got the crispy chicken green curry which was so yummy. The medium spice has a nice kick to it and the chicken was moist and soft. We also got the chicken panang curry and got it spicy. It was nice and creamy, plus a little bit of sweetness and a good spicy flavour. The mango sticky rice portion was a little smaller than expected but I really liked that the sticky rice wasn't overly sweet and the mango was refreshing. Overall, the flavours for me are a little milder than what I would find in Thai town. But I liked this restaurant because the spices aren't too intense and still light yet full of flavours. Plus, the ambiance is romantic and chill. I would definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

Another celebration for our pallets and tummies!! Service was exceptionally special. It's always a pleasure to come here given the drive, traffic and other elements screaming otherwise but coming here is always worth it. The ambience and jazzy music filled us with warmth and wonder.

I've been here twice and the curry is AMAZING. I will definitely be tryin the drinks next time. This might be one of the first restaurants i've struggled to order because everything genuinely is so good.

This is the perfect triangle of excellent food, service, and ambiance. You feel like you're somewhere else packed into this space with international music playing and cool Thai designs and neon lights. I had a pineapple duck curry and chicken skewers. The wife had the original pad Thai which looked phenomenal as well. The service was so kind and met our every desire. This is the best Thai in LA hands down. Another good one is in Redondo beach but nothing compares to this. Excellence is operative word here. Anything else Thai is uncivilized. Civilize Thai Bistro is also one of the very best places I've ever been and not just for Thai. Thanks and thank you to Gina and Noy.

No leftovers, no over-ordering... a true test of discipline at a place like this. Started with a Thai iced tea that hit exactly right. Balanced, not overly sweet, and generously poured. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Attentive without hovering, and the pacing was spot on. I never felt rushed, which is rare when you're clearly on a clock. For my appetizer, I went with the Phuket wings. As someone who takes wings seriously, I can say these stood out. Crispy, flavorful, and coated in a Southern Thai curry sauce I hadn't experienced before. Rich, slightly sweet, with a depth that kept me going back for "just one more." For the main, I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Thai beef salad to balance things out. Smart call. The dressing leaned creamier than what I usually expect, but it worked. Bright, flavorful, and layered. I'll be honest, I couldn't quite finish it, but the beef didn't stand a chance. Every last bite. Dessert sealed the deal. The mango sticky rice, now famously known as the Cardi B Mango Sticky Rice, lived up to the hype. Perfectly ripe mango, warm sticky rice, and that coconut sauce tying it all together. Simple, classic, and done right. The space itself tells a story. Walls lined with photos of the owner alongside celebrities from all over. But what stood out more than the photos was the man himself. He made his way around the room, greeting guests, checking in, bringing real warmth to the experience. No hierarchy, no pretense. Everyone gets treated like they belong. Twenty-six years in and I'm just now discovering this place? Better late than never. Next time, I'm bringing a group and ordering everything family style. That's the move.

Personally, I'm obsessed with the Lamb Shank Massaman Curry and Pad Thai. The curry might be the best in the city. It was kind of funny -- I was already thinking that, and the father of the family next to my brother and me said the same thing to his wife. And the Pad Thai? Super thin, almost angel hair pasta-like noodles. SUPER. GOOD. I've never had anything from here I didn't think was exceptional. And this is definitely the only Thai spot I feel that way about. Only minor knock: I picked up my Pad Thai today through GrubHub and the interaction was a little odd. The owner, I assume, wasn't friendly, and my order wouldn't pull up on GrubHub, which is on me. He's probably used to delivery service drivers, but still, ask human beings "How are you doing?" before interrogating them. TLDR: the food is amazing. GO!!!

The noodles were too thick, and the flavor was strange. The people in my group did enjoy the Pad Thai though, so that's one thing that's safe to order here. And the midnight chicken is amazing!!!! That's probably the only thing I'd come back for. Also beware of the metered parking in front. It's not as weird as it sounds, it's actually amazing just making the dish taste more creamy, not really cheesy tasting. I think they were waiting until our entire table was seated, but they could have at least taken our drink and appetizer orders while we waited for our third person to join us. But after that initial hiccup, Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come here again if we are in the area!
