After my third time dinning here, how could this tasty Thai spot not get 5 stars! La Ong has standout dishes, deep curry notes, and excellent executed Thai menu items. Service is wonderful and prices are very reasonable for this BH establishment. Must try's on the menu are the Khai soi with beef and noodles, the geeen curry branzino, beef and jasmine rice, pad Thai and pad see ew , wings , and mango sticky rice. I'm willing to bet all their items are a hit. 5/5 stars , check them out.

First time trying Thai food in Beverly Hills. Loved it. Great vibes and delicious food. Love the cocktails. Fantastic service. The fried pork was amazing.

We grabbed a weekend dinner reservation during our trip here. We were greeted and brought to our seat right away. The waiter for our table was friendly and helpful with his tips for drinks much appreciated. After we put in our order, it was quite a wait for the food to come out though when they did, they all came out relatively close together. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, and curry dishes. The curry was my favorite and everything was overall was flavorful - if anything a touch salty/sweet depending on the dish. My favorite of the three was the curry. Cute restaurant in Beverly Hills. The table we were seated at had a slightly uncomfortable couch but all in all, recommended if you like thai food.

I love the quality of food but portion is small. I like the chicken wing the most - it's a double battered fried chicken with fish sauce. So crispy and delicious The tom yum fried rice was super special too. It was using purple fried rice and it adds a special creamy texture to the rice Sea bass green curry was so delicious too. Sea bass was cooked perfectly and curry was super flavorful Papaya salad and pad see ew were pretty standard. We got it because portion was small and we weren't full. Dessert was good as always.

We dined as a group of 5 and ordered many signature dishes on the menu to explore the diversity. Overall, the entrees such as crab fried rice are solid with rich flavors. But there are a few items, on that particular day, were just below the acceptable level. For examples, chicharron has a distinctive off-flavor associated with pork when the skins are not cleaned properly. We couldn't even finish after one bite. The sea bass in tom yum soup was clearly not fresh, emitting a noticeable off-flavor. Chicken wings are flavorful but the skins are fried too hard to bite easily. The server was kind enough to take the chicharron off the menu but it also feels like she didn't care to explain at all.

Was in the area and wanted a quick takeout dinner so made a pickup order through Seamless from La Ong. Got the Pad See Ew noodles dish with Shrimp. It was slightly on the salty side but very flavorful. Easy pickup, food was ready when promised and friendly staff.

This place opened a few years ago next to my office and my coworkers & I frequently order take out from here. Its moniker is derived after the chef's grandma and the dishes are based on her recipes. Everything is prepared with ingredients that are imported from Thailand or locally sourced. In the past I've had the Mee Krob, Brussels Sprouts, & Papaya Salad, which were all tasty. A recent order we shared consisted of Tom Yum Rice and Stir Fried Broccoli. With an infusion of Thai basil, Kaffir leaves, chili, & lime, the Tom Yum Rice was an interesting dish. It also contained scallops, shrimp, & crab, which I enjoyed. The stir-fried broccoli was also good. La Ong will continue to be a staple on our lunch order list.

i enjoyed the food here, but there were a couple hiccups during my meal... first, the food was delicious. the fresh green rolls were delicious, and i especially enjoyed the peanut sauce which had a nice kick to it. i ordered the garlic noodles with tofu, and the noodles were cooked well with a nice bite, the garlic flavor wasn't overwhelming, overall a balanced dish. and we finished with the mango sticky rice with coconut milk, which was pretty standard. however, the staff asked twice about allergies and i mentioned i am vegetarian. despite this, i was served garlic noodles with chicken :/ they replaced the dish without any issue, but i would be worried if someone really did have an allergy that this could be overlooked.

This is our go to spot for Thai food in Beverly Hills! Every time we arrive the host and hostess are always friendly and quick to seat us wherever we like. There's both seating in the restaurant or on the patio. You will be close to other people if you do sit on the patio, so if you are planning to have a private conversation it won't be TOO private. The place is very clean and has a nice little set up to it. There's even a little bar seating area you can sit at and order a thai ice tea while waiting for your order. They are pretty quick to take your order and the food comes out in a decent amount of time. I usually order the Sea Bass Southern Thai Curry Plate if I'm not that hungry or the Beef with Ginger Rice Plate with an iced black lychee tea or Thai ice tea depending on my mood. I can't even explain how good everything here is. You honestly can't go wrong with whatever you order and you will be satisfied. Trust ya boy! Anyway, it can get a little packed around lunch time but you shouldn't have any issues getting a seat. If you're in the area and in the mood for Thai, hit this place up. Oh, they separate checks too! I feel like that's something I should start mentioning in my reviews that would be helpful. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

The spring rolls and fried chicken here is phenomenal!!!! I cannot recommend it enough and for my entree I got the khao soi which was also very delicious. My one complaint is that parking can get difficult in the area, though there are lots nearby.

I would say this restaurant is a fancy version of Thai food because the plating is very beautiful I love the organic green spring rolls and the sauce is very delicious It is a very good choice to have it in summer The service is good there and servers are nice and hospitable Parking is easy on the street or parking structures cross streets

Came here with reservations and was seated with little to no wait. The customer service here was great, the workers were nice and attentive. The food on the other hand was honestly nothing special. The papaya salad was lacking in zest and spice, it just tasted like peanuts and it was bland. The holy basil noodles was nothing we expected, the noodles were fried to the point where we thought they were chips. If you're looking for a noodle dish this is not it. The tom kha was good but the portion was tiny for its cost. I've definitely had better Thai food at a cheaper place, however I came because I wanted to treat my friend to a more upscale thai restaurant. The major flaw of this place was the insufferable scent of grease inside. I'm not sure if the vents weren't working or what was up, but the fumes of oil and grease were so strong. Me and my friend left with our hair and clothes smelling so greasy and fried. We got back to our friend's apartment and my other friend could instantly smell the greasiness when we walked by, it was suffocating.

This was my second visit. The space is airy and pleasant, the cocktails are solid, and a few dishes stood out. The lamb chops were plump and juicy despite being slightly overcooked. On a prior visit, the Greek salad featured fresh, flavorful tomatoes and generous feta. Dessert--the olive oil cake with lemon chantilly--was excellent. However, the shortcomings were notable. The lemon potatoes lacked the expected citrus tang, the chicken was moist but nearly flavorless, and the sautéed spinach was bland. Most disappointing was the "saganaki," which arrived as two triangular pieces of cheese wrapped in pastry rather than the traditional flambéed preparation with ouzo and lemon. Service was friendly but inconsistent. Items were forgotten, cocktails were incorrect, and our initial server--who left mid-shift--engaged in upselling without clear disclosure (for example, offering only still or sparkling water without mentioning complimentary filtered water, and stating she would add a fourth lamb chop since we were sharing, only afterward noting the extra charge). Overall, despite a pleasant setting and a few well-executed dishes, the uneven cooking, disappointing takes on Greek classics, and opaque upselling leave Avra at two stars for me.

This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently do have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: They only have valet parking here. Valet parking is $15 not including tip. Apparently during peak business hours or during the holidays, they will jack up the prices for valet parking. You have been warned! The best part about solo dining is eating whatever the hell I want without any judgement or pushbacks from other people. And I could eat at my own pace and people watch. Food and Drinks: At the bar, I ordered their famous berries and bubbles cocktail. It is famously crafted with a mix of citrus-infused vodka, fresh lemon juice, marinated blackberries, and a splash of brut, topped with dry ice to create a billowing, theatrical smoke effect. This drink was incredibly fruity and refreshing. The perfect alcoholic beverage for the summer. When I finally got my own table, I ordered their famous jumbo lump crab cake, lobster bisque, and caviar as my three appetizers. The jumbo lump crab cake is a signature appetizer here at Ocean Prime. I like their generous portion of premium crab meat and its elegant presentation. It is served alongside a sweet and sour slaw and a zesty horseradish mustard aioli. The crab cake was very tender and sweet. It balances the richness of the crab with the bright, slightly spicy kick of the aioli. It was baked to perfection. The lobster bisque was so yummy and creamy. It is a rich, velvety soup made with tender lobster meat and a flavorful broth. I like that they have generous, tender pieces of butter-poached Maine lobster in the soup. Ah yes. The Sturgeon caviar. Yes, I am a fancy and extra woman, and I have extremely expensive taste in food. I love me some artisanal caviar. Yum! Anyways, this wasn't on their menu, and I had to special request this. Caviar served on mini pancakes?!?! Say less! I loved how fluffy and soft the mini pancakes were. The caviar had a luxurious, buttery texture. It also had a subtle briny flavor. I found that the caviar bursts on the palate rather than tasting overly fishy. Honestly, putting the caviar on top of the sweet mini pancakes was brilliant because the mini pancakes acted as a neutral canvas so the distinct briny taste of the caviar could shine through. Moreover, I ordered the lobster linguine and sea scallops. The lobster linguine is a popular seafood entrée featuring fresh al dente cooked linguine tossed with succulent lobster meat, roasted tomato butter, arugula, chili flakes, and freshly grated parmesan. Btw, I hate arugula, so I asked the staff to remove it from this dish. Flavor wise, this dish had a delicate balance of rich roasted tomato butter and a kick of spice from chili flakes. I'm a sucker for all things pasta, so this dish hit the spot and satisfied my pasta craving. The sea scallops were fire!!! The jumbo sea scallops were perfectly seared to a golden brown, moist, and tender. The sea scallops were severed on a bed of lobster risotto. The lobster risotto was very rich and creamy. They used a rich Arborio rice cooked with chunks of melt in your mouth lobster, roasted tomatoes, and a savory shellfish. This dish won my heart. And finally, for desserts, I ordered their famous 10 layer carrot cake and creme brûlée. Now, normally, I hate carrot cakes, but since this was highly recommended, I decided to give this a shot. Needless to say, I still hate carrot cake, but I could appreciate this restaurant's take on this dessert. The cake itself was very moist and tasted spicy due to the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. This dessert is layered with lots of cheese icing and pineapple syrup. I found the cream cheese icing and whipped cream to be extremely delectable, but that's about it. The creme brûlée is a classic and indulgent dessert featuring a rich, velvety vanilla custard, a perfectly crisp caramelized sugar crust, and fresh seasonal berries. I loved the warm and crunchy top, and I truly enjoyed the rich, vanilla-scented custard. Staff: The staff here are very welcoming, attentive, and chill. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

His passion for the food and heartfelt hospitality were major contributors to our outstanding evening. As for the food, we enjoyed every dish that came to the table. To start, we shared the Carciofi e Cuori di Palma, Branzino Tartare, Tonno Acqua Pazza Crudo, and Granchio e Caviale. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with bold, balanced flavors. Even the bread service was remarkable, particularly the focaccia, which was the standout among the three varieties offered. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Marubini, Spaghetti, Mafaldine, and Casarecce, all of which were fantastic. The house-made pastas were each cooked to perfection and showcased the kitchen's exemplary technique and care. We also shared the Fagiolo, Peperone, and Patate as vegetable sides, and each one was excellent. We concluded our meal with a trio of house-made gelati for a sweet finish. The sweet cream and pistachio flavors were both especially memorable and well worth saving a little room for. To top it all off, the restaurant graciously provided some mignardises, compliments of the house. The first bite gives you that textbook contrast chefs chase: a thin, savory Maillard snap, then cool, silky flesh that still tastes of the sea rather than smoke, which tells me it was hit hard over heat to render the skin and pulled off at the precise moment before the proteins tightened. Grilled lemon halves, their edges caramelized, are doing real work here--squeezes of that charred citrus cut through the fish's natural oiliness--while the thin ribbons of pickled red onion and peppery microgreens supply the bright, acidic punctuation that keeps the palate moving. Slices of avocado act as a soft, creamy foil, lengthening the finish without smothering the fish, and the halved cherry‑tomato salad looks lightly dressed so you get clean sweetness and a crisp counterpoint rather than a soggy, overdressed side. From a technical standpoint I appreciate the fundamentals: even scoring or oiling of the skin to prevent sticking, careful timing so the flakes separate cleanly, and a sparing hand with seasoning so the brine of the fish isn't lost under salt or heavy sauces. Many places feel compelled to gild seafood with every trendy condiment; here, the restraint is refreshing and, frankly, rarer than it should be. Service matched the cooking: friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to steer us through the menu with solid recommendations, which matters when a kitchen is doing delicious things well. The restaurant itself is calm and clean, a peaceful setting with a bar that lets the food speak, and last time I was there they were in the process of securing a beer and wine license--good news, because this kind of balanced, grill‑forward cooking benefits from a thoughtful pour. In short, this meal stands out because it trusts the ingredient: confident grilling, smart acid, and honest accompaniments that clarify rather than compete, leaving you satisfied and already thinking about the next visit. As for the house-made salsa: stainless ramekins on a white plate, each with its own tiny spoon - bright yellow emulsion, lacquered dark reduction, smoky-red chile purée, and a chunky herb relish. The emulsion is silky and tangy, perfect for cutting fat; the dark sauce is sticky, umami-forward and built to cling; the red one carries smoke on oil and is medium-hot; the relish snaps with fresh acid and crunch. Important heads-up: one of these is a ghost-pepper style salsa - extremely spicy, slow-building and long-lingering, so use it as a finish, not a dunk. Execution is tidy: no broken emulsion, measured viscosities, portioned so flavors don't bleed - practical, disciplined work. In an era of one-trick "house sauce" laziness, this quartet gives you tools, not excuses, and it elevates whatever's on the grill without stealing the show. I'll definitely be back here!

Definitely had a 5/5 brunch trip to Saltie Girl. We had a party of 7 for Sunday brunch. 1130…read morereservation with no issues. We were waited on by Alex and he handled the table nicely. He was informative about our selections giving honest feedback and attentive to the needs of our group. I will say the food not inexpensive but what food really is these days. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Starting with the tuna neck tin. While I'm new to the tin game, I couldn't imagine what a $90 tin tasted like, now I know and I'm not sure I can eat anything less. Appetizers we started with the baked scallop special with chorizo, the caviar fries and the caviar dip. The baked scallop was delicious and the cause dip with the salt vinegar chips was fantastic. I could still dip more chips in that dish. I chose between the mussels and the fried fish sandwich. Alex recommended the fish not because it was better than the mussels. But because you just can't get a fried fish sandwich like theirs. I agree. The fry breading they have is top notch and the size of the sandwich literally has me full still 7 hours later. I substituted the fries for a lightly dressed side salad and loved it all. Besides, other folks had chips and fries to share. Other dishes were the fried and cold lobster rolls. The bagel breakfast plate and fish and chips. We even got dessert which was the pistachios tiramisu and the strawberry cake. Both good but the tiramisu was next level. All washed down with a winter sangria Maybe that's why I am still full. See you again, saltie girl.

We ordered a hamburger (rating: 5/10), fish and chips (7/10). The Brussel sprouts and clam chowder…read morewas by far the best thing I had. Server was nice but when we were leaving we had like 5 different people pack our to go box and when we looked what they packed for us, it looks like they literally threw it in there. Like egg was cracked, fries were missing, the bun to the burger was missing. Super odd. Our bill was over $500 with gratuity included since we had a group of 6. For what we ate, no it's not worth $500 Food = no I won't be coming back Service = server was nice, how they packed the food, no
