Every dish is yummy, but our faves are: Pad Thai Yellow or Green Curry Veggie Egg Rolls Pad Kra Pow I love that each curry is filled with vegetables--it's just the right of coconut milk and spice. The veggie egg rolls are quite possibly the best we've ever had. Inside is filled with vermicelli, mushrooms, and other veggies, but everything is so well balanced. And with a dip of the sweet chili sauce, and it honestly can't get any better. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow are just as good as you think they'd be with all the right flavors and spices. Really disappointed. The tofu in the pad see ew and pad thai seemed like it had been fried 3 times and the noodles were absolutely dripping in grease. The mango sticky rice was globby and lacked flavor. Won't be eating here again. read more

I came in for a small appetizer, got the chicken satay, roti with green curry and fried tofu; I know it may sound to some this are small portions to leave a whole review about; however they were DELICIOUS! I've had Thai before and didn't taste like industrial cooking. The sauces were amazing and the person who served was very kind, friendly and chatty without overstepping. It's a small mom and pop shop but very unique and enjoyable. I must say people need to try it out. Also, No waiting time! read more

I've passed by this place so many times but have never thought to come in and try it. My friend and I came in on a Wednesday evening for dinner. This was around 8pm and it was pretty empty. Parking was not too hard to find on the street. It is a cute, intimate, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The interior had dim lighting and unique interior design. The service was friendly and fast. My friend and I came for the Thai fried rice, and the sticky rice wing. Both were so delicious and enough to share between 2 people. As seen in the photo, we really enjoyed the umami filled wings. The fish sauce really added a delicious flavor to the next level. Every bite we took was so crispy. As for the fried rice, Thai fried rice is something I enjoy. The ingredients are so simple, yet addition of tomato, cilantro, and cucumbers really put the fried rice together. I think I'll come back to try their noodles and curry sometime! read more

I'm so happy that sticky rice has a location closer to me! I can't believe it's been open 2 years and I just found out about it. I've previously been to the Echo Park and Highland Park locations and always really enjoyed the food. I had friends in from out of town who were craving Thai food, so I met up with them here and sat with them at the bar. They like their food a little spicier than I do, so the medium spicy (which is too hot for me) was perfect for them and the mild was great for me. I always seem to get the yellow curry with chicken because it's so good I can't resist it even if I think I should try something else. They also have outdoor seating but I like sitting at the bar with the funky decorations and the overhead music, which was kind of retro/ nostalgic pop. Service was very attentive and friendly. My friends are an older couple and we all had a great time. read more

Everything was excellent, per usual, but I finally got to try the Thai tea and was so pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too sweet! The service is so friendly and the music is awesome. I walk by this place all the time and finally decided to give it a try. We had the pad Thai with shrimp, pineapple fried rice with chicken and the roti with green curry. We also had two diet cokes and the total came to over $70. The food was good, but our main dishes didn't come out together, so it was awkward sitting there not eating while waiting for the other plate to show up. It did about five minutes later. Visited on Saturday and the food was okay but didn't wow me. I feel like the flavors were very one note. I do appreciate that they offer vegan options. Big points for that. We order the Pineapple Fried Rice made vegan to share and this was actually really tasty and loved the different textures. I ordered the Drunken Noodles made vegan with fried tofu and high spice. This is where it kind of fell flat for me. It wasn't really spice at all and it felt like it was missing something. Possibly if they offered plant based chicken that could be added that would have made it better. The Chardonnay of the day was tasty. Service was efficient and friendly. A really big downside for me is the state of their bathroom. The walls and floor were pretty gross. The state of a bathroom is always a factor on if I'll revisit because if their public bathroom is disgusting then it makes me nervous what their employee only kitchen looks like. We managed to nab a parking space a few doors down but it's. 3rd street so I know we were pretty lucky. read more

I decided to have Thai food and arrived at a new restaurant I had never been to before. I really liked the interior, but the service was lacking. We were seated in the back, and there was only one person managing the bar, the tables, and everything else. He handed us menus after a few minutes. I noticed a couple who arrived and sat at the bar; they were given water immediately. Meanwhile, it took about 25 minutes before our table received any water. By this time, I was already frustrated because the new guests who had just arrived got water before us. The food was very salty. I hope they have more staff working on a Thursday night in the future. It was good - I loved the cilantro, crunchy cashews, onions, sweet raisins, the juicy pineapple and the curry spiced rice.
