Every dish is yummy, but our faves are: Pad Thai Yellow or Green Curry Veggie Egg Rolls Pad Kra Pow I love that each curry is filled with vegetables--it's just the right of coconut milk and spice. The veggie egg rolls are quite possibly the best we've ever had. Inside is filled with vermicelli, mushrooms, and other veggies, but everything is so well balanced. And with a dip of the sweet chili sauce, and it honestly can't get any better. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow are just as good as you think they'd be with all the right flavors and spices. Came on a Thursday evening and service was super slow. Waited a while for a table because the waitress was taking a long time to get the order for a table of 4 even though there were several empty tables. I also had to go grab the menus myself from the counter because the waitresses were kinda slow and I just wish they could have more help. They also didn't have enough condiments for all the tables so I went to the counter and added the sauces and jalapeños to an extra bowl I got by myself so that other tables could access the condiments. The bowls and plates also weren't very clean when I touched the bottom of them... still greasy. They give you a free Thai iced tea if you write them a Google review so that was a nice offer. The waitresses also require you to enter you name and phone number after you order which I think is a waste of time, added unnecessary wait. Interestingly, the wait for the food once you order went a lot quicker. I enjoyed my boat noodles. Portions were a little smaller than if you went to Thai town, but I get that rent is expensive in this area. Bathroom is clean. Overall, I would not recommend coming here if you have post dinner plans because service is way too slow and not very efficient. Waitresses are nice though. You're having to pay street parking so it'd be nice not to have to wait that long for service. Perhaps stop by here when it's off-peak times. Would like the owner to add more condiment sets for tables. I think I would've gotten my food faster if I spent an extra 15 minutes driving out to Thai town. read more

I'm so happy that sticky rice has a location closer to me! I can't believe it's been open 2 years and I just found out about it. I've previously been to the Echo Park and Highland Park locations and always really enjoyed the food. I had friends in from out of town who were craving Thai food, so I met up with them here and sat with them at the bar. They like their food a little spicier than I do, so the medium spicy (which is too hot for me) was perfect for them and the mild was great for me. I always seem to get the yellow curry with chicken because it's so good I can't resist it even if I think I should try something else. They also have outdoor seating but I like sitting at the bar with the funky decorations and the overhead music, which was kind of retro/ nostalgic pop. Service was very attentive and friendly. Parking was not too hard to find on the street. It is a cute, intimate, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The interior had dim lighting and unique interior design. The service was friendly and fast. My friend and I came for the Thai fried rice, and the sticky rice wing. Both were so delicious and enough to share between 2 people. As seen in the photo, we really enjoyed the umami filled wings. The fish sauce really added a delicious flavor to the next level. Every bite we took was so crispy. As for the fried rice, Thai fried rice is something I enjoy. The ingredients are so simple, yet addition of tomato, cilantro, and cucumbers really put the fried rice together. We also had two diet cokes and the total came to over $70. I decided to have Thai food and arrived at a new restaurant I had never been to before. I really liked the interior, but the service was lacking. We were seated in the back, and there was only one person managing the bar, the tables, and everything else. He handed us menus after a few minutes. I noticed a couple who arrived and sat at the bar; they were given water immediately. Meanwhile, it took about 25 minutes before our table received any water.
