I asked the cashier what he would recommend based on my preferences and he came through with an absolute killer recommendation. If you purchase whole beans, they will roast them for you. The process will take 30 minutes, so keep that in mind. You will also have the rest of the beans for 4 to 7 days before being able to use them. You can purchase the beans in three different size bags. Can't wait to go back! As an extra, the staff is very friendly and the coffee shop is super cute.

Excellence in every Roast. at Mameya, there is precisely. And passion to every bean. Service is great. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly if you have any questions or inexperienced. The ambiance is intimate and rather small. There isn't a lot of space where you can sit or stand. Pros: I ordered their pour over common blend and it was solid. I also grabbed a 12oz bag of their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. It took about 20 minutes for them to complete the roasting process. After 4 days, I grinned the beans for a pour over and could tell this was already going to be a decent cup of joe. I did not see any significant bloom but the draw time was great based on my grind size. Cons: This shop is too far and too small so if there is a line and you don't have time, you might have to skip the experience. While I don't anticipate Mameya expanding, I would come back in a while.

I really loved the combination of all the flavors, but I would ask for less of the jam next time. Parking is super easy to find, there is a bathroom, reliable wifi. I love interacting with the staff. They're all really nice. I saw one of the baristas run out to their car once and then came back to give their pokemon cards to one of the kiddos in the cafe. It was such a sweet interaction to see. Their in-house syrups are pretty good and coffee/espresso generally taste like a smooth pull. There has been maybe twice where the vanilla oat latte was a bit lacking on the vanilla flavor but besides that they're generally consistent and good. Just.....silence........so I awkwardly ordered my drink. Once I said my order, she turned her head to the specials menu, and had a cold, blank expression, which made me think that it was out or that they couldn't do what I asked. I asked her if the drink I ordered was available, and there was a long pause before she dryly laughed it off and said that she didn't register what I was saying. It felt like a lame excuse and it felt so awkward; so I just tried to be as polite as possible and continued with my order. I wanted to just sit down and leave asap. It was so disorienting because she had acted in a completely different way with the girl before me. I just shrugged it off as a bad day, but when I consulted my friend about it, she said that the same girl acted in the same way towards her. And then I came here to write a review and saw that another Asian woman seemed to have a similar experience, so it doesn't just seem like a one-off thing....
