Baristas are so nice and the service was fast. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast burrito. The portion sizes are good and worth the money. Burrito was bland and so hot (temp) I had to wait 20 minutes before I could eat it without burning my mouth. The cheese was crispy, like overheated. The coffee is so so so good! Came here to grab a bite and study last week and overall really enjoyed my experience. The matcha was just your standard matcha but I got their hippie burrito (tater tots, pickled jalapeños, goat cheese, and portabella mushroom) and it was really good. I expected the pickled jalapeños to have minimal spice but my mouth was definitely on fire, their sauces were super yummy tho and balanced out the heat. Good music that wasn't too loud and large desk space, minimal charging outlets was my biggest drawback. read more

Did a little Yelp roulette for a yummy coffee and it led me to this location. Bodhi Leaf is a hidden gem located in between a bouncy house place and a Home Depot. The parking is accessible as it's located in a large plaza. This cafe is bigger than most coffee shops I've been to, with lots of tables for big groups or solo dates. I indulged on a Honeybee, a lavender cold brew with honey cold foam. The cold brew was delicious with the syrup and they were very generous with the cold foam. I also loved the way the honey tasted natural and not artificial. I paired it with a toasted almond croissant and was pleasantly surprised by how big it was. The nutty filling and the toasted almonds paired well with my beverage. Making plans to come back whenever I'm in the area again. Great coffee shop! read more

First time here and my impression from just walking in was 10/10. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and rustic and it is definitely is going to be a new study spot for me as there's a lot of others here studying or working and light chatter which is a perfect coffee shop atmosphere. The staff were all warm and friendly and had my order done within 5 minutes. I saw the line starting to grow behind me but the staff took orders fairly quickly. I ordered a Brown Sugar Latte hot and a Banana Walnut muffin which were both absolutely delicious and not too sweet. I wish I had read more of the recent reviews. Starting in August of 2023, the reviews started to mention that the Wi-Fi is really bad. That was my experience, too. I was not able to connect with either of my devices to either of the two networks. That almost entirely defeated the purpose of working there, which had been my only reason for going. Were it not for the lack of Wi-Fi, this would have been a perfectly fine spot. The coffee was yum, it was a little noisy but not so loud that I couldn't concentrate, there were plenty of tables, parking was ample, and the baristas were nice. I'd definitely get coffee if I were in the area and not intending to hang out. That said, it feels more like a get in, get out kind of place. Even if I were simply meeting up with people rather than working, the vibe was more "industrial" rather than "cozy," and therefore not the kind of place I'd want to spend time at. Anyway, just wanted to warn people about the Wi-Fi so they don't make the same mistake I did. read more

everything about our visit was mid. I ordered an iced oat matcha latte with no sweetener and it was meh. My friend got their sugar free hazelnut latte and she didn't like it either. I tried some and it wasn't bad but I don't drink coffee so I don't really know what good coffee tastes like. Their wifi didn't work which defeated the purpose of going to a coffee shop to do work. We tried four networks and the different passwords they had out and left. Maybe their food is good? I don't know if I would make an effort to return to try it though. read more

#76 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. I really wanted to like Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders given all of the amazing reviews, but I personally felt the place was overhyped. Located in a commercial area, the outside of the shop looks like just another warehouse, but the inside is where it's at. The spacious interior, natural lighting, and wooden furniture gives the place an outdoorsy vibe that I enjoyed. Anyways, I ended up ordering one of their specials - the cinnamon toast latte. I ordered the smallest out of their three cup size options, the 12 oz, which was this tiny cup that's way smaller than the 16 oz regular size drinks at most coffeeshops (and large drinks are usually 20 oz). And yet somehow this mini cup of ice and what amounted to maybe four sips of coffee cost me $7.49! The latte was good, don't get me wrong, but was it worth $7.50? Absolutely not. Not for how little of the drink I actually received. Maybe if that was the price for the regular size - maybe. Another issue I had was that my drink was left sitting on the counter and I had to go and ask them if it was mine when I realized people who ordered after me were getting their coffees before me. I don't know why they didn't call out my name or order when it was ready when they did that for everyone else, but the end result was that my coffee was sitting there for who knows how long. To keep it short and sweet, my coffee was good but ridiculously overpriced, and service could be improved. read more

Decided to try this new place because of the reviews and many menu options it offers. I ordered a toffee nut cold brew and my best friend got a lover's latte, which is espresso, white mocha, and raspberry syrup mixed together. The cold brew was okay, but I think the lover's latte tasted better. The ambiance is comfortable, spacious, and gives a "homey" vibe. The cashier was very nice and helpful in giving recommendations on their most popular coffees. Service was quick. I am definitely coming back so I can try more of their drinks. read more

Certain coffee here is pretty good and some really aren't. Their cold brew is pretty good, but their lattes are awful. I'm not sure if it's the beans they use or what. Their roasted coffees are hit and miss but I do like their "Slow Morning" half cafe roast. It's low caffeine but delicious. All this being said I probably won't be returning any time soon. Every time I come here the wifi is not working. I come here to drink coffee and work for a short time but cannot... every single time. This seems to be a trend at many coffee shops now. This has become my to go spot for my ground coffee!! Ever since my bf and I tried their coffee we were hooked! I really enjoy the spacious lounging area where there is always people hanging out either studying or just enjoying a good cup of coffee. I really like their flavored cafe lattes especially the hazelnut. They always have a nice variety of ground coffee that they will ground for free. I have a French press at home so I always get it ground for me french press. It seems like every time I come in for some coffee they always have new flavors from different parts of the world!! This makes shopping for coffee really fun and exciting. I really like their bold flavors that always have chocolate and some spices. I'm so glad I found this place! I took my dog to the groomers and had to wait for him for a few hours. I decided to bring my work to a coffee shop nearby and found this on Yelp! It looks pretty simple from the outside, but the vibes are definitely there with their indoor ambience. I got the rose latté and the ham and cheese croissant, and there's definitely no regrets there. It was so good! The service and staff were kind, I had no coffee in my system and was having trouble understanding them, but they were patient with me lol. When you pull into their parking lot amongst industrial buildings you'll wonder if this is really a coffee house or a Bodhi Leaf warehouse. Well, it's both! The retail entrance is on the Katella side. This location is large and full of wooden tables and chairs. There is counter seating on a far wall along a window that looks into the warehouse where you can see bags of coffee beans from distant countries and workers packaging up beans that have been roasted in-house. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The workers here are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Even though the area this place is located in is more industrial than retail, almost every seat in the large space was filled. I sat at the counter and peered into the warehouse as I sipped my coffee drink. The cookie was moist (even considering it was late in the afternoon) and full of chips. The latte was excellent; a great roast (unlike what a certain giant chain passes off to a brainwashed world) and the vanilla was evident yet kept the coffee flavor front & center. THE LAVENDER LATTES. that is all. Okay Just kidding!! but seriously though the lavender lattes are where it's at here!! I love that they have them and the last time we went in to order it came out so fast I didn't even get a chance to sit down. I get mine iced and depending on my mood with different milk types. They also make London fogs here and neither of these beverages disappointed! I was starting to like this place it's very cute decor but I did knock points off for the vibe inside. It just wasn't what I hoped and we didn't feel very comfortable chilling inside with our drinks, we ended up leaving. Overall the service was lack luster as well but the drinks were delicious I just wouldn't hang out inside and honestly I should order ahead next time. The cashiers/baristas are always so bland. I don't ever get great service here sadly, I likely won't come back often if at all unless I'm craving one of the lattes. read more

Like i've said in my other location reviews, Bodhi is my all time favorite coffee!! I recommend the iced matcha latte (sweetened, with oat milk)!! it's so creamy and delicious, and i'm not even a fan of matcha, it's THAT good!! This location is best if you're looking for merch/coffee equipment to buy!! They have the most room at this shop and always have a bit more variety of fun stuff to pick up! read more

It may be controversial to say in the coffee community of Orange county, but I feel like Bodhi is overhyped. I'm not questioning the knowledge base or technique of the baristas, but I think in terms of that there's wave of coffee they do an adequate job but I feel like don't have quite the niche for the intense coffee lover. Looking at bodhi's selection, it is a place where you can learn about how different regional variances will affect the coffee. With that said the quality sends me a jack of all trades but master of none from what I've tried. From a coffee shop standpoint, they do have good food already and ample seating, but the street access and parking can be a bit of a nightmare although it seems seemingly large. If you're going to make the commitment to dive deep into coffee, Bodhi is a nice place to start to try a variety of things, but look elsewhere find the best of what your particular taste ends up being. read more
