This is a massive scam. They take your credit card the minute you walk through the door. You sit down and they tell you you need to spend $9000 to fix your face. When you say no thank you, they tell you the promotional offer that got you in won't do anything. When you say you want to leave and pass on it, they tell you the card has been charged. I am new to the area and wanted to establish a new place for my skin care. I purchased a Groupon for microneedling service. After purchasing I called to schedule (which is what was stated on the Groupon) no one answered and I left a message. No one returned the call but shortly after I received a text. It stated "if I need to schedule do so online." I texted back and said I purchased a Groupon so will need to schedule over the phone since the website charges a appt fee of $99. In my message my phone autocorrected a word and their response was "huh? Please schedule online". At that point I left it alone for a couple of days and attempted to call again. No answer. A few days after that (today) I called again. No answer so I then texted requesting an appointment stating that I had purchased a Groupon and would like to schedule over the phone. This time with zero misspelling or incorrect words. The response was "You have to schedule your Groupon at bodysculptva.com. If you are unable to do this, then please contact Groupon for a refund. Thank you" I replied "When scheduling online it requires additional fees to schedule and the Groupon also states to call to schedule an appointment so I'm confused as to why I am unable to schedule over the phone" zero response. This place has the terrible customer care. They clearly do not want the business and if they don't want to deal with Groupons, don't sign up for them. This place is running some kind of scam. Had an appointment this week for an RF laser and red light session. I showed up at the time and was greeted by a receptionist who ran the shared space office. They claimed I didn't have an appointment because I hadn't secured it by a $25 no show cancellation fee. I had booked it the previous day, confirmed that morning, and showed up, so clearly wasn't a no show. The 'technician Eva' wouldn't come out to see me and the receptionist wouldn't show me which room in the building was their office. Every time I called the number listed it would ring out and then someone would immediately call me back. The tech was there and available and they'd 'secure the appointment if I paid the $25'. Dear viewers, I've just returned from my Mother's Day trip and would like to share more details of my experience with Body Sculpt Skin Laser (BSSL). Please note that my review includes graphic photos of an injury I sustained. If you are sensitive to such content, I advise you to proceed with caution or refrain from viewing. I arrived at BSSL location on May 8, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. for my 11:00 a.m. appointment. The BSSL was listed on the wall near the elevators on the 13th floor, along with several other businesses, but no unit number was provided. I noticed a large reception area adjacent to the elevators and hesitated to enter, assuming it belonged to a different company. I called them for clarification and was instructed to wait in the reception area. That's when I realized BSSL operates out of a virtual office. A few minutes later, the technician/owner arrived, asked me to check in using a QR code, and returned to her office. Shortly afterward, she texted to say she needed more time to print some forms. We exchanged a few messages, and I informed her that I have another appointment at 1:00 p.m. in Maryland. At approximately 11:45 a.m.--45 minutes after my scheduled appointment--I was finally brought into her office. She asked a few intake questions, including my ethnicity. I suggested that they upload the medical history form (the one she had struggled to print) online, just like their other intake forms, to prevent delays caused by printer issues or missing paperwork. She responded with several unsolicited recommendations, including: 1. That I should stick with one provider instead of using different providers on groupon. 2. That I should not travel from Maryland to Virginia for treatments. 3. That there is a provider who is my ethnicity practice in Maryland, she knows a lot of my ethnicity people go there. I should go there too. She then briefly cleansed my face, took two to three photos, applied eye shields, and began treatment on my forehead. The pain was immediate and intense. I told her it was too painful and asked her to lower the setting. She insisted that the current setting was appropriate for my skin type and refused to adjust it. Despite my repeated requests, she would not lower the intensity. I ultimately asked her to stop the treatment. She examined my forehead and said the redness was normal. She then asked for payment. I presented a printed voucher, but she refused to accept it and told me I needed to download an app to produce a QR code for redemption; otherwise, she is going to charge to my credit card on file. Frustrated, I told her this was the worst spa experience I had ever had and left the office. As I passed the reception area, I noticed that one of the doctors listed on BSSL's website was present. She had entered the reception area shortly after my arrival. I politely approached her, introduced myself, and showed her the redness on my forehead. While we were speaking, the technician/owner suddenly came out and demanded that I leave. She then escalated the situation by contacting building security, despite my remaining calm and respectful throughout the interaction. Around 12:00 p.m., I returned to my car and saw in the mirror that my forehead had three visibly darker areas, in addition to the redness. I rescheduled my 1:00 p.m. appointment and returned to the building, where I remained in the lobby until 1:30 p.m. During that time, I texted and called the technician/owner multiple times but received no response. I also took additional photos of my injury. Throughout the afternoon and into the night, I continued attempting to contact her, but received no response. Meanwhile, my forehead remained in severe pain, and I had to take pain medication to sleep. The following morning, I visited my dermatologist and was diagnosed with a second-degree burn. I will continue to document and share my recovery process until I am fully healed--or until it is determined whether any permanent damage has occurred. read more

Then after 2 sessions I told Eva that I feel tricked because my tattoo looks the same - I believe she wants me to pay outside of Groupon price so she wasn't trying to remove my tattoo. I got two treatments, and I'm giving this rating for two main reasons: 1. Massive overpromising of results that don't materialize. They'll show you pictures, but only of the best possible results, from people who likely got much more treatment. Both procedures were big dissapointments. 2. When I didn't get the results I was sold on, I was blamed for it. First, I was told I gained weight (which I very quickly showed was not true, but the opposite). I had a horrible experience with Eva at this extremely subpar place. I went for radio, frequency, micro needling, four months ago. I was nearly crying in excruciating pain and she very condescending. Lee told me that she's never had anybody complain of this much pain as expected. I had a lot of redness and discoloration, which she told me would go away in one month. One month later, my face still look like I had been attacked by cats. I went one month after that for some "complementary" laser in to help with the discoloration despite the fact that there were lines all over my face and neck she only lasered the parts that I was able to point out to her with the mirror and then at the end of the session she was trying to sell me a package of four laser treatments for $1800, undoubtedly because she knew it was going to take more laser treatments to correct the burning of my skin. . Now, four months later , my skin still looks exactly the same. I went in today and she started complaining that I was now pointing out more areas than I had pointed out before. I told her that I shouldn't of had to point out areas before because she could see that the lines are all over my face and neck And I told her I felt like she is accusing me of trying to get something for free by getting extra laser treatments. I am telling you my skin was perfect before I ever set foot in this office and she even asked me why I am doing micro needling and I said well I heard it's good prevention to help boost, collagen and keep your skin firm. I have not been able to go out of the house without make up in four months due to what I'm concerned now is permanent hyper pigmentation And she refused to do the laser on my face today because I complained that I shouldn't have to mark all the areas. . She should be able to see that there are lines everywhere. She is extremely unprofessional I would never ever ever again go to anybody who is not a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for these kinds of medical procedures? She has permanently damaged my skin and I would likely have to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to correct this. I got a groupon deal that was being advertised for coolsculpting but turns out it was for cryoskin tshock. I would've had no problem with that if i wasn't charged coolsculpting prices when cryoskin tshock is cheaper. I've done research and it's no more than $300-400$ per session for cryoskin tshock while i was charged $574. I'm very disappointed because it took me a while to save for this and could've used some of that money for a future session. I called to tell them my discovery and was told that cryoskin tshock cost more than what i was charged which didn't add up with all the research I did. Follow up to my initial post: I am now being sued for posting an honest review of my services at this establishment. Online reviews are meant to share experiences with others so that we can choose better/more appropriate services, not to be mistreated and then threatened by the service provider. The company they have hired, Dash and Associates, was incapable of effectively contacting me other than an aggressive phone call during which he did not get into specifics about what I may have done that was illegal. If the "company" had contacted me directly and sincerely apologized and asked me to remove my review, I might have considered it, but this is a ridiculous and offensive way to try to solve customer complaints. They made no mention in their documentation of the fact that they cut Groupon out of the transaction, which is surely against their agreement and should this ridiculousness continue, we will bring this to Groupon's attention, which seems like incentive enough not to continue this stupid crusade to wrong a right. I am considering a counter suit should this harassment continue. Surely there are cameras in their offices showing what actually happened and I have texts to back up my claims.
