Got a new X5 in March and was run off the road on 4th of July only to clip a sign. The sign did damage to the rear door, door seal and mirror. I was told the repairs would take 2 weeks and they did. Dropped my car off a week ago, when I dropped it off the agent (DJ) that's working with my account said he will keep me informed, well he never did so I ended up calling for a status report only to hear that the door that was ordered came in damaged and the next one came in damaged too. Keep in mind the insurance company paid them the estimate they send them. So DJ said he will give me a call on Monday (2/19/19) for a status repot well Monday came and no phone call. I've had several jobs done at Boerne Collision over the years in the past and HAD always been satisfied both with their work and their service. Recently however the service has taken a huge turn for the worse, to the point of not not only disregard for the customer but sheer disrespect. It's really a shame when a place has worked hard over the years and earned their respect to let it fall so deeply into the gutter. I don't want to go into detail but if you're considering them and have been told a date to bring your car in or that an adjuster will give you a call, don't assume it will happen, Get it in writing. Even the simplest of statements that seem like the good ol boy promise, get it in writing. If you've already started the process and haven't received that call from the adjuster or the date is getting closer to bring your car in but haven't heard a word, let it be the red flag warning that if new business gets this neglect, just wait until they have your business. Worst customer service ever. Rep named DJ has no customer service skills at all. Called for a simple quote and as a repeat customer expected some sort of politeness but guess he was fresh out. Have dealt with DJ before and had same result. Receptionist was also rude. There used to be a rep named Ray that was great, but he is gone and I don't blame him. My dealership recommended Boerne Collision to get some body work done on my 2006 Mustang. To say that I am extremely pleased with their work would be putting it mildly. They fixed the damage that they were supposed to fix plus some damage to my bumper for free. When I went to go pick my car up, I discovered that they had detailed my car and buffed the exterior which removed all the tiny scratches that I had gotten over the years. That saved me the $144 that I had been planning to pay to get it detailed. My car looks brand new! Their customer service is fantastic, they called me numerous times with progress reports. We have been a customer for over 10 years and have had great service. My service adviser, Rodney Wahl, had been our advisor on every visit. He has always followed through with his promises. He called every Wednesday as he said to keep us informed. He checked the vehicle to see if everything was functioning ie. Lights, wipers, auto tail gate before we were called. We just picked up our 2012 Enclave. Boerne Collision replaced a front fender, painted and buffed out some adjacent damage. They started the work on the day I delivered the car and finished up prior to their expected date. My wife hit a deer the other week and did some damage to the body of her Jeep Cherokee. BC was on the approved list with our insurance company, so we gave them a call. My wife took her car out to be evaluated and they said they would get the preliminary report to the insurance company that day. My wife called early the following week and they still had not submitted the claim. After several more calls, they wanted her to bring the car back for another evaluation...probably lost all the stuff from the first evaluation. This guy seemed to be in a haze without a clue, so we took our car elsewhere. read more

We had my daughter's '99 Tahoe completely repainted by the Kerrville location two years ago. I was not happy the paint job because it had excessive orange peel. They were supposed to refinish both headlights when I went to pick it up they had only done one. This was a 6000.00 paint job! Mike the store manager said all paint jobs have orange peel, that is somewhat true, BUT this is horrible. The paint job is now two years old and flaking off and sanding marks are showing through the paint. I have taken the car back to them but they have not responded back to me. I would not take my kid's red wagon to them to be painted. Lousy workmanship and very poor customer service. read more

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!From A-Z there are issues. Poor time management and project management being the foremost issues. They forgot to take care of one of our repair claims and then lied about it blaming the insurance company. I called insurance to verify all contacts to be sure before I contacted Boerne Collision. They promise to get back with timing and never do. I was told it would be done 4 times and at which stage it was. Clearly not accurate. I even showed up several times since phone calls weren't returned to find out my car still sat untouched. On top of all of that when it was returned, it was covered in a light dust everywhere. We still can't get rid of it. It looked as though they left it sitting with windows open either in the shop or the yard when I saw it there. When we got it back it was somewhat wiped down but every single book and cranny has the dust. Even my sunglasses sitting in the car overnight are covered in dusty. The windshield glass is also foggy and has something on it that regular glass cleaner can't remove. 8 weeks!!!! 8 weeks they had our car and it sat there for 4-5 of them untouched. Avoid this place like the plague. We even tried to talk to management and they don't seem interested so they must know. Everyone is busy with all the hail damage but once something is in the cue it moves. The problem is scheduling and communication here. Maybe more but for sure those issues. read more

My car was in there for more than a month, they first finished it within a week or so but then to get more money they were like o if don't repair this you'll be killed n blah blah blah ... Don't trust them, they are liers and they ONLY want your money Trust me!! By 1 month, they told me my car was done n they were supposed to call me, but not only they didn't,now that I'm writting is 10 days later and every time i call to see what happened to my car they put me on a long hold! I've had several of my vehicles repaired there over the years with pretty good sucess. My son's vehicle was rear ended last Wednesday. . I took the vehicle to them on Friday at State Farm's recommendation. I walk in explain that I needed an estimate. The receptionist calls a guy to come out. I explained that I needed an estimate because I really need to get the process started. He looks at me and says, "if you want an estimate, you need to schedule something for next week. I'm busy". I explained that I was kind of in a bind and really needed to get this taken care of. He stared at me with no response, none. I said, thank you, I'll go to the next repair shop on the list. He continued to just stare at me. I walked out and drove to Caliber Collision. A guy came out right away, looked at my vehicle, we discussed options and he sent the information to State Farm. A much more pleasant experience. I understand that I'm probably over sensitive to bad customer service because I run a Customer service team of 117 employees that provide support to 12000 employees across the city. This behavior that I experienced at Boerne Collision is not tolerated by me. Tell me to get lost. They are friendly and polite, but my 30 day collision repair under an insurance policy took 5 months (about 22 weeks). Apparently Chrysler is really bad at making parts for a popular car that is only 5 years old. Also, they are way, way, busy, so you should probably double the time estimate they give you. They're just not going to be able to work on your car as much as they think they will at the beginning. Also, they are pretty bad at explaining all these things (drove me insane), but the GOOD news is that the quality of workmanship is first rate, and that's the important thing. My car looks new. Just make sure your insurance covers unlimited car rentals, and you'll be fine. read more

Liars and crooks. Run away as fast as you can. Was in a wreck said it would take 2 weeks since we were out of town. We were stuck in a hotel for six weeks while they strung us along. Since the owner doesn't seem to be active in the operation any longer the customer service has tanked. Information when you can get it is seldom accurate, return calls are not made, the manager is never available. Final price almost twice the original estimate. Terrible service with one that has to pay out their pocket, because I had taken collision off my wife's car. Car blew a tire on rear drivers side, and son 38 y/o was driving it back from Dallas and hit the guard rail at 65-miles per hr. damaging the front bumper and front drivers side and the tire blowing damaging the rear drivers quarter panel. This was four weeks ago and Mario still hasn't got the car even started. Now he's stating that the frame may be bent. I went there to see for myself, I see no frame damage, just all the plastic and fiberglass on this Toyota Avalon is all pushed over the the right, engine not damaged, just the bumper on front and all the bumper and accessories and head lamps . I have make all the phone calls to them, they don't seem to want to call me. Their customer service sucks, big time! They would rather do the insurance jobs first, not first come, first serve! I was there last Thursday and Mario wanted me to stop by and show me the possible frame damage, again he couldn't actually show me any frame damage, he asked me if I wanted him to lift it up on machine and see if settings are actually off, showing frame bent, I stated yes, and let's get it done. First he quoted me over the phone from $2100 to $2500 to get it repaired 100% and back to road ready, and now he states it will cost a lot more if frame is bent any. He also, told me over the phone that the headlights were broken and had to be replace, when I looked the headlamps were not broken and both work okay. Seems like they really don't want to repair it, I have no reason why. I'm paying cash, let's get it started after four weeks in their possession, why not??? Don't use them, they have so many cars, that they are so far out, and if you want your car back in four or five weeks, go somewhere else!!! If I ran a business like this, I would be out of business, no care for service to the customer. read more
