    Do Not Put This Gunn to Your Head (This concerns the service department) For your AC Problems, instead use Kool2U. Here is my review: My experience with Gunn Acura's service department was awful from start to finish, ruining my day, wasting my money, and not fixing any of my issues. Here's why: Incompetent Shuttle Service I brought my vehicle in to fix an AC issue, but the experience started on a confusing note. I was told to wait for a shuttle, and after moving through their three and a half 'waiting' areas, I was left wondering what to do next. The confusion right from the start is a hallmark of this establishment. While waiting, a man stumbled into the room where I was subjected to a large screen displaying gruesome images of wild lions tearing a buffalo apart. Blood everywhere--just what you want to see when you're already having a rough day. Eventually, I was directed to a shuttle where all the doors were open, making it hot and humid. The sports talk blaring on the radio didn't help either. After a while, the same man returned, said he couldn't find the other passenger, and finally took me home. Receiving the Report After several hours, I received a report out of the blue, including images. The document implied they performed a 15-point inspection, which led to: A $1,822 estimate to fix the AC. A $3,226 suggestion to replace the timing belt on a 10-year-old car. In today's economy, where even a $2 bell pepper now costs $5, it seems Gunn Acura needs to make its money somehow--but at the expense of insulting their customers' intelligence? I found that deeply disturbing. Refusal to Provide a Shuttle After sharing a laugh with a more reputable company about Gunn's exorbitant pricing and confusing service, I decided I had had enough and just wanted my car back. But this was no easy task. I declined all the ridiculous services they recommended in the document. When I called to say I would pay the $90 fee to have my vehicle released, I was met with, "Not so fast!" Apparently, only Carla--who has at least two last names (Anguinaga on official documents and Rae elsewhere)--could release the vehicle, according to the man who answered the service line. I left a message and then waited. When I finally spoke with her, I requested a shuttle back, considering the inconvenience they caused. She told me their shuttles were fully booked, and I would have to find my own ride. Ms. Rae, Anguinaga, or whatever your name is, perhaps you should better manage your shuttle service to avoid leaving people stranded. How I Used the $90 I Spent with Gunn Because Gunn stranded me, subjected me to gruesome images, and charged me despite doing no work on my car, I chose a local AC repair company instead. They were amazing from the start. I sent the strange ransom photos from Gunn over to the new company, and they were able to diagnose the problem instantly and easily. Why You Should Not Play with this Gunn After laughing about Gunn's insulting service and pricing with the local company, they identified and fixed the issue over the phone. They didn't send me an opt-in bill disguised as a diagnostics sheet--they treated me like a human being. The woman at the second shop, not Carla Rae Jespen, showed me what genuine service looks like. I thought about the elderly people in my life and how Gunn's confusing document could easily catch them off guard, draining their limited monthly funds. And then I thought about those overpriced bell peppers. I can only recommend Gunn Acura if you want to recreate the exact miserable experience I had. Call the number below if you, too, want to see oxen torn limb from limb and be treated like an imbecile.

    Just traded in my Buick for a pre owned Dodge Ram. Everything from start to finish went amazingly well. My Sales Rep, Michele Fedorka, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt no pressure tactics ever. I came prepared with numbers in mind and our negotiations were fast and extremely satisfactory. To prepare that used Ram for resell, the staff really went all out to ensure it was in like-new condition including 4 new tires. My Ram was gleaming when I drove it away. Subsequently I had two small service issues that the Gunn Acura staff fixed quickly and with smiles. Kudos to Michelle, Eric, Amir, Eli, Nestor, and in Service, JT, John, and Adam! I would happily return to do business again with this wonderful and accommodating staff at Gunn Acura! Thank you Gunn Acura for getting me into a beautiful truck for a more than fair price!

    I came here to SELL a car rather than buy one. I had been to 3 other dealerships and they kept on low-balling or lying to me. I came here and it was a 180. They took their time to look at my vehicle, drove it around and had me get a 10 day payoff quote. They offered me a more than fair price and less than an hour later we had a deal. When I decide to buy a new car soon they are my FIRST stop.

    On Company Letterhead and Signed by the Manager that was on duty.

    Unethical Business Practices, Deceitful Business Practices, and Bait and Switch - All Illegal in this State of Texas and it clearly states this on the application when you apply and renew your business license with the OCCC and TXDOT! Anyone looking to do business with this dealership do yourself a favor and run - I repeat - run as fast as you can away and don't look back. Let me start off with addressing what happened yesterday with the unethical transaction that Amir Yousless demonstrated and how the GSM Justin Mansell was asked to come over so I could address what had just happened. Let me start with I walked in with a blank check from my credit union to purchase a vehicle, this was let known upfront. (This by no means has nothing to do with the salesperson who was helping me as he did his job and I have absolutely no problems with him - he was wonderful. This has to do with management and how they treat and blatantly lie to the customer.) I was upfront and told the salesperson what I was looking for and that I had my financing with my credit union and just needed the purchase order with the vin# and the total amount so I could contact my credit union for a check. He went to get all the information and then here comes Amir Yousless and he sits down and proceeds to tell me that he needs me to fill out a credit report and sign it as they need to run my credit to verify my identity... RED FLAG!!!. I told him absolutely not that is not how it works as I am not signing anything with the dealership. This individual saw me as a woman in the dealership and thought he was gonna bully me around so they could run my credit. Well guess what folks... I have ran a car business in the past and been in the car business for a while that is not how the process works especially since the dealership was provided with my drivers license and military identification. I immediately asked for the GSM and he walks over. I told the GSM i was about 1 minute from contacting the OCCC for the way that this so called manager is doing business as it was not ethical. The GSM and I sat there for about 10 minutes talking and of course he stated he would deal with that as that is not how they do business... I chalked it up and we carried on. By this time, I was provided the purchase order and the finance manager Elia had even spoken to the credit union to get all the information the dealership needed. Fast forward to today, I return with the check from the credit union as the dealership had sent everything to the credit union with all the totals. I walk in hand them the check and we go over the vehicle and i leave. Now remember the dealership gave me the purchase order and had previously spoken to my credit union with all the figures. Ok. About 2-2.5 hours I receive a call from the dealership and it was the finance guy Elias stating that I was given 2 rebates and I don't qualify for them, mind you the GSM was the one that did the purchase order and gave me and the credit union the figures. The first thing was I owed them for the military rebate at $750.00 and that I owed them another $750.00 as the other credit was only for using the dealerships banks. Now remember the managers and finance was the one that sent and spoke to the credit union on all the figures and they knew I was not using their banks. I was told that since my husband was not on the car with me but literally you have my military id and can see that we are married as it has his name on the id as well that we can't have that rebate and the other rebate was only for using their bank not mine. This is absolutely deceitful business practices and bait and switch. I instantly drove the vehicle to the dealership and demanded to see the GM. Well how conveient I was told that he is off on Friday's... Yes he is off on Fridays! Now everyone knows Fridays are a busy day in the car business. After all was said and done I returned the vehicle and got my check back and clearly told them and the public that I will be filing with the OCCC and the TXDOT for this as this business needs to be fined and their license revoked for illegal business practices. I also requested in writing and on letterhead something that states that the deal has been voided and I asked them to put the reason for it. I have attached the letter to this for proof for the public to see it in writing and signed by their Sales Manager. I would also like to make note that all my calls are recorded so I dare anyone to try to change their story. With all this being said I would not recommend this business and I would rather walk if this was the last place standing. To advertise how family friendly and how you support the military this is also false advertisement and I may just add that to my complaint as well to the OCCC and TXDOT. I have tried to contact Sean Gunn thru Linkedin to discuss this. Amir Yousless was sitting there behind the desk lierally laughing. Pathetic if you ask me!

    Came here for the MDX tail light recall but was told the top brake light failed instead. Also told to replace a filter only a few weeks old.

She took the time to explain how I could contact Honda and possibly be reimbursed for the repair -- which was a significant amount and greatly appreciated. She also informed me about an updated part that needed to be installed, and the team completed that while finishing my routine maintenance. In a short amount of time, everything was completed and my vehicle was fully updated. I was extremely impressed with everyone's professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. The free coffee, comfortable waiting area, and outdoor seating were also a nice touch. The team at Gunn Honda is outstanding, and I always look forward to having a positive experience there. Andrew Johnson, the service person told him that they were very busy and it would take 48 hours for them to be able to put the car on the computer and that we had to leave our car at the dealer. We are a retired couple and have only 1 car, so he asked if we could make an appointment for the following week so we didn't need to stay without a car. He suggested we rent a car. Rent a car to obtain a diagnostic evaluation? He also mentioned that we needed to change the break liquid, which was inaccurate since we changed out breaks and changed everything like 3 months ago. He would not provide an appointment for next week because it was not "allowed" and needed to leave the car. My husband went to Belken's where they changed our breaks and showed my husband that the liquid was fine. What happened to integrity and transparency at Ancira Nissan. We had a similar issue at Ingram Nissan and that's exactly why we started going to Ancira. Very dissapointed. The sad thing is we'll have to go to Boerne to get our car serviced since we bought an extended guarantee for the car. Be aware and check before you pay. We not only had to pay $189 for the computer diagnostic, but they were attempting to change our break fluid which was not needed.

This was my first time doing business with any SEWELL dealership, and it has been one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. My salesperson, Alejandra, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I like working with the same salesperson whenever possible, and since I'm new to town, when I stay with SEWELL , I'll definitely be getting my next vehicle from her. I also want to recognize Robert in the service department. He was fantastic when I needed a repair done on my vehicle. He quickly arranged a loaner car and kept me updated every couple of days on the status of my vehicle. That level of communication meant a lot and made the entire process stress-free. Another perk I really appreciate is the complimentary car wash. Between that and having a loaner available during service appointments, it gives me even more reason to stay with SEWELL . Their customer service is truly some of the best I've ever experienced at a dealership. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and makes everything so easy. Despite the car's age, they were very proactive with ensuring it was in excellent condition through their reconditioning process, and they also took care of a couple very minor cosmetic issues that I didn't notice until after I took delivery of the vehicle. My salesperson, Nathan, was very responsive to my messages and went above-and-beyond taking care of my questions and requests. Even though I purchased the vehicle long-distance, he treated me just as important as a local buyer, and the dealership's capability for e-signing documents meant that I didn't actually have to spend all that much time there when I arrived to pick up the car. In summary, I am blown away by the sales experience here. Should any friends/family in the area wish to shop for a vehicle in the future, I will gladly recommend LR San Antonio, secure in the knowledge that they will have a good experience and get a good car as well.

Why would dealer sell this unit knowing it had issues? It's been 2 weeks and although we were told they would get us in a new one, no one is returning my calls to make this right! Salesman (Arturo) is not responding to my messages and always states he is with another customer but will call me back. I have left several messages for sales manager (Chad) who I spoke to once and was told he would get on this right away, still waiting. I should have read reviews on dealer prior to purchase
