We've been trying to branch out and try new restaurants and Bohemian Bull was today's adventure. The service was fantastic! The food was hit and miss. The tomato bisque arrived Luke warm. We did send it back and it returned a better temp. It was delicious. The fish and chips were excellent. The burger was so salty, my husband could not eat it. And, he salts his food way too much so if he can't eat it because it's salty, that's saying quite a bit. My daughter ordered the Chicken caesar salad and could not eat the chicken because it was so salty. Not sure who has custody of the salt shaker there tonight, but they need to get that thing back! So far super slow service, waiting 15+ minutes for a beer.. Whipped feta w/pecans is good, great flavor, little bite to it. Folly steak sandwich was pretty good, but on ends were hard. Steak frites, excellent flavor ans sauce. Steak was overcooked. Place was bust, desperately need more staff, very slow, no follow up on if we needed anything or how was everything...she couldn't I counted 2-3 servers on the floor and numerous large parties and a waiting line for tables. Stopped by here for lunch with a friend, and it was enjoyable. Great menu options, depending on what you are in the mood for, salads, entrees, burgers, sandwiches. They have it all. I ended up getting the strawberry fields salad and it was delicious, I added chicken to it which increased the price by $5. But the portion size was quite large. Service was great and staff was friendly. Definitely would come back, they have Happy Hour and different events nightly. First time customer. Great place. Atmosphere was nice and clean with plenty of TV options for watching sports. All of the food was amazing. I think next time I go I'm going to try the Thai Chili wings. I had some of the burger sauce and the waiter confirmed it was the same sauce used on the wings. Pretty good spot. Came with a large group and they handled us efficiently. We ordered several apps to share: nachos, Mac & cheese bites, and bang bang shrimp. All were pretty tasty, especially the shrimp. For my entree, I got the That's my Jam burger and it was a lot going on. Pretty messy to eat, with pimento cheese, fried green tomato, and bacon jam oozing everywhere. Very flavorful, but would have preferred more bacon jam and less pimento cheese. We reserved an outing for our daughter's soccer team while in Greenville for a soccer tournament. Reservations made on open table. The safe was fantastic!! Excellent service. The food came out very timely and there were no issues for the orders. They say us on the back outside patio, which was perfect for our large party. Came here to close out a night on a Wednesday. The atmosphere is that of a TGIFridays. Bar seating as well as table and high table seats. The food and drinks are what you'd expect along with it- nachos, onion rings, sandwiches etc. We chose it because it was one of the few places still open (until 11pm on this particular night). It being a Wednesday we lucked out since it was 1/2 of Burger night so this made things much easier when it came to making a decision. I got the 'Gettin' Smash Burger' and kept it simple with a side of fries. It was two thin patties and was pretty good, cooked medium well but kind of kept coming apart with each bite so maybe I should've just got medium. The onions were nice. The burger itself had a grilled taste. My friend also got a burger along with the mac and cheese bites. Ok, kind of the usual. Our waitress was pretty friendly, and this night was pretty quiet with some sports on but given the layout and seats I can see it being a pretty packed spot on the weekend with a younger crowd. I have mixed reviews about this place. We came here on a friday night with some friends and was told the wait time would be about 45 mins. We had no problem with that and sat by the bar. The bartender was really friendly and helpful. We ended up getting a nice table at the corner. The server was nice and friendly but she definitely could of been more attentive. We started off with the brussel sprouts and boom boom shrimp. Both came in piping hot and in a timely matter. My husband and our friend both ordered the burritos but one with chicken. The server did say that the chicken is grounded so it can be hard to see sometimes. When the food came, the food runner had both burritos and we asked which one had chicken in it. She didn't know and sat both plates down for them to decide. They were both trying to open the burrito to see which had chicken and both looked the same. The server came and my husband asked and she looked at both and noticed neither had chicken. So instead of making a new one, she came out with a cup of ground chicken. My husband said by the time the chicken came out, the burrito was cold. I got the wings which were jumbo in size and good! My other friend got the veggie wrap with fries. Her fries were cold. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. When we got the checks we noticed neither one of us were charged with chicken for the burrito so in the end we realized that it was never rung up and that was why there wasn't chicken in it. Came here with my co-workers for dinner when I was in town for business. We were seated outside on a nice day with no wait. I opted for the Gettin' Smash Burger with Cheddar instead of American Cheese and the Fried Mac & Cheese Bites instead of French Fries. The burger was great and highly recommend the Mac & cheese bites. I also tried the Butterfly Key Lime Margarita. It was very good and was very tempted to get more than one. The artichokes were basically outer leaves the 1st time. The second time they were made fresh & were cooked perfectly. So make sure they make them fresh. Had a hard time finding a beer here. We stopped in for a late Tuesday lunch. The place was empty except for a few patrons at the bar. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, granted we were the only table for most of our visit. We started with two cocktails, both were good and well balanced. The pistachio one came with a fun little pocket to hold the nuts in. I won't go into detail about what we nicknamed it haha! The food came out in a timely manner piping hot. Brussels were delicious, I loved the whipped feta that made it unique from other brussels dishes. Onion rings had a nice and perfectly crispy batter. The bang bang shrimp rivaled ones we've gotten at more upscale restaurants, but Bohemian Bull uses plump, jumbo shrimp. I enjoyed my Cuban and the dipping sauce that came with it. I literally wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommend the truffle fries even though it's a slight up charge. We finished with the doughnut holes and ice cream. Not the most mind blowing dessert, but I imagine people with more of a sweet tooth would love it. The entire restaurant was bright and clean. There's also several TVs if you go on a big game night. It has really been opened up by removing a bunch of the visual noise but somehow maintains a good noise level. Tried it today to let the newness die down a little bit but everybody tired from cooking and visiting was ready to eat out, too. The wife did a Ceasar Wrap with grille dchicken and I did the Reuben. Both were very good and good portions. They have a small seating area out fron and a little larger back patio out back, but nobody is messing with either at 35 degrees. I came because my daughter recommended the place while I was in town. Atmosphere and food were good. My server, Tabatha not so good. Not very friendly, not very prompt and not very thankful when I handed her the tip. I found out that Wednesday night is half price burger night on yelp app based on a comment made by a previous patron. That offer was never given to me until I asked about it. Maybe I just caught Tabatha on a bad night. I probably spent twice as long as I needed to spend in this restaurant tonight. I had visited another Bohemian Bull location leaving Hilton Head Island a couple years ago and it was great. Me and husband were excited to try this new spot in Greenville. The wings were really good- I tend to prefer dry rub because some places use so much sauce the wings are swimming.
