Boichik Bagels opened nearly a year ago a few doors from Baskin Robbin's. It's basically a shop to showcase and sell bagels, sandwiches, spreads, fish. Veggie & salads. Not much seating. Plenty of parking. Placed order. Ready in 8ish minutes Bites: The Classic (16) everything bagel -biggest bagel ever seen. Thick, chewy -had generous portion of nova lox, enough tomato, chive cream cheese, red onions, & capers to create an Unami deliz bagel. -saved 1/2 later for a snack. 4.5 stars Worthy! Fab service quality: freshly made. Fresh ingredients. Quantiy: Enormous.

I've heard about Boichik in Berkeley so when I was in the area and found there was a nearby one in Concord, I had to check it out. It was okay, I wasn't a fan of the Mensch, but the Lox/Cream cheese was decent. Staff was friendly and courteous but it can get crowded in here fast. Restrooms are gender neutral. Parking in front and in the shopping center.

We wanted a bagel for breakfast yesterday, so we decided to try this bagel place that seemed to have opened about nine months ago. When I walked into the store, I was surprised by the amazing and huge display of bagels at the front, where we could clearly see all the different types they offered. We ended up getting half a dozen bagels. We tried the egg bagel, which had a really beautiful yellow hue, but taste-wise it was similar to a regular bagel, though perhaps a bit softer. We also tried the salt and pepper bagel, which was probably my favorite out of all the ones we tried. When the salt grains hit your taste buds, you could really taste a burst of saltiness that paired super well with cream cheese. We also got a bialy, which is a thin, chewy, bagel-like roll with a depression in the center filled with savory sautéed or caramelized onions. It was interesting. We also tried their whipped cream cheese, which was pretty good. I liked that the store offered samples, especially of their seasonal cream cheese flavors. I was able to try their Alfredo cream cheese, which definitely tasted like Alfredo (very garlicky) as well as their creamsicle cream cheese, which I thought was really good and had hints of vanilla, orange, and honey. At $3.25 per bagel, the price was a bit high for just bagels, but at least we got to try different kinds. Overall, my experience here was pretty amazing, and I would probably want to go back to try more of their offerings next time.

Order online! Toast platform. Great daily fresh baked bagels. Savory, plain, or sweet bagels. Seasonal options include creamsicle (orange, vanilla, honey) and Alfredo (Parmesan, garlic, parsley and pepper) spreads. Small bagel store with limited counter seating. Picture window to watch your bagel be made here. Our phone order was made in a short time. All our bagels were delicious. Enjoy the pictures.

Stopped in here to order a bagel to go, on my way to a doctor's appointment. They had a great variety of bagels, along with their spreads. I got an everything bagel with their rotating spread: Calabrian chili caramelized onion & sweet garlic. It was absolutely delicious! From the time I ordered to when I left with my bagel, was maybe 10 minutes max. There are a handful of tables if you'd like to eat your breakfast there. I also liked that you can see your order being prepared! I definitely plan on coming back soon!

I've been wanting to try Boichik Bagels after hearing a few people recommend it, and reading reviews that claimed these bagels were on par with east coast bagels. As a NY native, I grew up with amazing bagels. I'm happy to discover that while the bagels at this Boichik location aren't exactly the same as a great east coast bagel, they are the closest to it in quality that I've tried in the bay. I brought home a few bagels to try: plain (4/5), egg (4.5/5), and eggything (4/5, just slightly too salty when paired with lox). I also bought 8oz of Nova Lox (4/5, pretty good, but pricey!). Service was fine and fast, but I wouldn't call it friendly. There was no wait on a Wednesday around 11:45am. This is a convenient location steps away from Trader Joe's, usually with available parking. I'll be back and look forward to trying more bagels!

Clean and well organized with great signage. My first time there and everything was great! The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is concise, and the bagels are great! So are the spreads. The Calabrian Pepper spread is awesome!

Decided to try this new bagel place here in Concord CA off of Treat blvd and Oakgrove. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Garlic and Everything bagels with cream cheese. They were so fresh and warm. I love how they stack many garlic on their bagels. This is the only place I know who boil cook their bagels. There are seats on the outside. Parking is plenty and free. Also, nice short walk to Trader Joe's. The staff included a sample bagel that we ended up liking it. Because of that kindness, we returned and order that bagel along with our normal garlic and everything bagels. On our third visit to this place, I like a shout out to the owner that "Karla or Carla" was so kind to help us even after the stores closed with some bagels. We drove only to this place and were sad it just closed! However she noticed it and helped us out. *please thank her for such kindness and blessings as my wife and I were happy. I'm happy there still good heart people in this country especially during these times. Hope this message get to you Karla or Carla! We need more people like you in our world. We are happy that this new Bagel place is here and the only one that will get return customers.

Ordered ahead as I knew it was a popular place and busy. However, no wait when I picked up. SO GOOD. I am not a bagel expert, but I know they have been given a lot of accolades for being really good and it's well deserved.

    Classic on everything bagel

We've stopped in a few times since it opened. It's located off Treat and Oak Grove, around the corner from Trader Joe's. A cute store with some indoor and outdoor seating. As you pass by, you can see the staff prepping orders through the big window in front. I get the Classic (lox, capers, tomato, red onion, chive cream cheese) on an everything bagel. It all tastes good but on the pricier side. Size of the bagel seems on the smaller side- or possibly it's just the ones we've gotten- for $16 a sandwich. The amount of filling is good, but when you bite into it, everything kind of spills out. The staff is friendly and they seem to have a good system for fulfilling orders. Still a nice quick breakfast option after shopping at TJ's.

Bagel selection at 9 AM on a Sunday morning

Having waited in a line out the door at Boichik's Rockridge location multiple times, I was stoked when I found out they opened a location in Concord. The Concord location was still bustling on a Sunday morning, but the wait was manageable. The bagels were just as tasty as I remember them to be - especially when they're fresh from the oven. I ordered the classics - sesame and plain - which I enjoyed in the comfort of my home since the shop is more of a grab-and-go situation (there are are few tables outside with a view of the parking lot). The bagels were as dense and chewy as some of the best NY bagels I've eaten, and it was a special treat to enjoy them for a decadent Sunday breakfast. I'm so glad to welcome Boichik to the neighborhood.

Always super prompt the bagels are delicious especially the cream cheese. Staff is friendly. Great location. Easy parking.

There was also a free or paid wifi option depending on the bandwidth one would need. I ordered the iced chai latte with caramel syrup and almond milk, which was a bit pricey for nearly $10. However, I will say it was delicious and made quickly. Probably the coolest thing here though was the co-working space. The front of the cafe had plenty of seating for people to talk or work. There was a hallway leading to the back room that had larger tables for bigger groups, implying more of a co-working or quieter space. Definitely appealing for people wanting a third space - will be back!

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. This spot came up, and although my wife and I have driven past it many times, we've never stopped in. Today, I decided to finally give it a try. After looking through the Google photos, I changed my mind and ordered a breakfast plate instead of a sandwich. Parking was a little challenging. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and had to circle the block a few times before finding a spot directly in front of the diner. When I walked in, I wasn't sure whether I should seat myself or wait to be seated. All of the waitresses appeared busy, so I stood near the entrance. Once she was available, Marianna greeted me. Initially, I wasn't a fan of being asked whether I was picking up food rather than whether I was dining in or taking out, but I quickly realized they may be accustomed to regular customers who already know the process. Since it was my first visit, I explained that I wasn't sure if I should seat myself. Personally, I think a sign near the entrance would be helpful for first-time guests. Since I was dining alone, I chose a seat at the counter and ordered the Sugar Plum Special with cheese grits and sourdough toast. While waiting for my food, I noticed something that concerned me. The staff did not appear to be wearing gloves, and I observed food being handled after touching various surfaces, including condiments, plates, glasses, and trash areas. While I understand that food service relies heavily on proper handwashing practices, I personally felt uncomfortable watching bread being handled directly by hand. I requested that my toast be handled with a utensil instead, and my request was accommodated without issue. When my food arrived, my eggs were cooked exactly as requested--scrambled hard--and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The bacon was a little saltier than I personally prefer, but that's more about my taste than the preparation. Overall, both items were flavorful. Now, let's talk about the grits. I come from a strong Southern background, and we take our grits seriously. The presentation was fantastic. The butter melting on top and the cheese looked absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, the texture wasn't there on the first serving. The grits were noticeably gritty and undercooked. After a couple of bites, I sent them back and requested they be cooked a bit longer. One of the waitresses explained that customers typically need to request the grits "well done." That was surprising to me because I've always believed grits should naturally be cooked until smooth and creamy. In my opinion, that's how they're meant to be served. Thankfully, the second batch was much better. While they still could have been stirred a bit more, the texture improved significantly and was much closer to what I expected. I also want to recognize Marianna for her excellent service. She was accommodating, attentive, and handled my concerns professionally throughout the meal. Overall, I would return. The restaurant has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and an old-school diner feel that is becoming harder to find these days. It reminded me of the kind of place you'd visit after church on a Sunday morning or somewhere you'd go with your grandparents for a comforting home-cooked meal. While there were a few areas that could be improved, the welcoming environment and friendly service left a positive impression on me.

The morning ritual is the best smoothie I've ever had. It's hard to balance health and flavor, but this was both healthy and incredible. They list the ingredients used in each smoothie, so you know all of what they contain. You can even add different boosters such as mass muscle, etc. It's located inside of a gym, to the right side of it. Don't be thrown off, you don't need a membership to enjoy the fantastic smoothies. The workers have been really sweet each time we've visited, and when we ordered via Uber it was ready upon arrival. One of the only drawbacks is how expensive it is. I also really wish that they listed their nutrition facts online. For such a health oriented company it's shocking that they don't, and especially a company of decent size. The smoothies contain dates, nuts, etc. So although they are good ingredients they can be high in fats, so it's important to know. Our smoothie also has coffee as well which we enjoy, but knowing the caffeine content would be appreciated. My last order also had huge white frozen balls that were unblended in it which was odd, I'm not quite sure what they were. If the price was lower, we would come here much more often. It is a great way to start your morning, and makes you feel fantastic afterwards.

This is one of my favorite weekend spots in the summer since it is only outside seating. Seating is shaded which is great! Parking is also pretty good on a normal day!

To start, the employee working at the cash register was super friendly and gave great suggestions on drinks and food to order based on how sweet we like things or more coffee for we may want things to be. There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.
