Just tried the heirloom and the MF. It was a busy day today so they were out of most bagels, so we did plain. The heirloom was phenomenal. Had a nice freshness and a slight sweetness with the oil on top. The MF wasn't really for me. I saw that the sausage had maple so I was expecting sweet, but I didn't realize it had fennel, so it tasted more like an Italian sausage than a sweet breakfast sausage. It was pretty greasy too. I don't think it was a bad thing to order necessarily, just not my preference. Still want to come try the lox sometime. I'd be interested in trying the Dodger too. Or even just a simple bagel with cream cheese honestly. read more

There was a good amount of cream cheese, and the bagel tasted fresh and well seasoned. It was fluffy and not dry at all. The Lox: Similar concept to The Dodger, but this one had red onions instead of pickled onions. I really loved the jalapeño cheese bagel choice because the jalapeño added a spicy kick, and I just love cheese. The citrusy kick with the salmon was such a good combination. Service: The food came out pretty quickly, and the ordering process was straightforward. You order at the front, they give you a table number, and then bring the food out to you. The combination of creamy cheese, juicy tomato, and crunchyyy thin cucumbers and radish were the best combos of textures I have had in awhile. The menus consisted of various open face and sandwiches with your choice of bagel. The bagel is so fluffy and soft but still has that slight crust you want on the outside; it's perfect as is or as a base for a sandwich. I got the Fully Loaded Lox on a sesame bagel and it may seem crazy to pay $20 for a bagel BUT it is loaded with so much salmon and veggies it's 100% worth it. The ingredients are so fresh and delicious you can tell the care and quality that went into it. I also got the Ole Smokey which came loaded with a lot of smoked turkey; it was rich, creamy and satisfying. And don't sleep on the chocolate chip cookie! It was the perfect cookie; crispy on the outside with a soft chew inside. And the cookie was sea salt sprinkled on top and all throughout the dough for that perfect t sweet salty balance. Came sunday morning and stood in line to order. As we stood in line, I was watching them place dough on a pan to make their bagels in house. My friend and I split 2 bagels. 1 of the bagels was the works. This bagel was unexpectantly on the hard side. The salmon and other ingredients that we got with this bagel were good. The cheese and jalapeno bagel was nice and soft and seemed fresher. However the sausage in this sandwich seemed undercooked and red inside. The waiter replaced the bagel but the sausage still seemed pinkish. He explained that this sausage may still have some pink even though it is cooked. Because it does have pork, my friend and I were not conlmfortable with eating the reddish pink parts so we picked it away.
