Ordered from this place through uber eats and had a horrible food experience with this restaurant. And before you try to come at me with "oh well, that's because you got it to-go and delivered" - I literally just had a different seafood boil place through uber eats and it was a tremendous difference! Saw the IG reels on this place and thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the shrimp and crawfish with a side of Cajun corn. The driver literally went from the restaurant to my place, no other stops. Upon arrival, it smelled promising. After peeling the first crawfish I knew it was going to be a bad experience. ALL the crawfish were black and muddy inside. Both crawfish and shrimp were mush! Like they left them boiling for days mushy. Couldn't even eat them. The street daddy corn sounded delicious. Too bad they were chewy kernels and lacked flavor. Basically they overcooked the corn without seasoning then coated it with the seasoning only on the outside. I definitely won't be ordering from this place again. I used to be a die hard boiling crab go-er but boil daddy is my FAVORITE now out of both boiling crab & kickin crab- their sauce is quite literally the best sauce I've ever had in my life, so chunky, flavorful & everything else you can think of. Boil Father has the best "Asian Cajun" style seafood boil sauce around. (Asian Cajun has heavier spices and more chunky garlic than traditional Cajun seafood boil) The sauce here is as flavorful as Boiling Crab USED to be before Boiling Crab started watering down and thinning out their sauce and making it super bland. I definitely recommend this place more. The sauce is thick, garlicky, and bursting with flavor. Especially if you get spicy level "OMG! Extra Spicy". You can also order extra sauce on the side, which I highly recommend. I'm usually hesitant when it comes to ghost kitchen type situations but I gave this one a chance starting in 2023 and have ordered many times since with no regrets. Friendly, good food. I liked that the crab had a cheat crack already applied. Just wish someone had told me to ask for peeled and deveined shrimp! So you've been warned. I am not a huge cajun food person but my good friend loves cajun food so I picked up some along with 6lbs of kalbi and the entire party loved it! This seafood boil was gone before the LA kalbi! They loved the Daddy Sauce and they are from OC where they have great crustacean food and boils. My takeout had plenty of sauce that we actually even smothered over our other raw shrimp we had on skewers to grill. I will definitely be back to bring more for my friends later. read more

My girlfriend and I shared a 2 lb bag of shrimp and clams because we saw a BOGO offer on DoorDash. We were originally craving Boiling Crab, but the deal was too good to pass up - or so we thought. We bit multiple pieces of sand/rock, several clams weren't open, and the sauce was thin and very tomato-y in flavor. The shrimp were fine as far as we could tell. If you're thinking about ordering from here versus any other reputable "boil" restaurant, then my advice is to steer clear of The Boil Daddy. read more

Old, Small mushy shrimp is what we got. Ordered here 2nights ago and I should have gone somewhere else to get food. This was the worst decision ever $43 dollars for food that made me sick. The half and half is not worth it with the small black mussels (those don't belong in the boil). What happened to the Greenlip mussels??? false advertising. I got the OMG spicy and my first thought was I didn't order 2x Spicy noodles, I don't even eat ramen but I know that sauce from anywhere. It was numbing to my lips & not it a good way. It wasn't enough sauce, nor was everything coated in the sauce. Nothing LOOKED LIKE THEIR PICTURES. I don't recommend ordering from a Mass kitchen, had I known I wouldn't have. read more

First and foremost, this is not a restaurant it's only a pick up spot. The overall taste was not bad I wish it would've been less clumpy but I liked the boil itself. Note the kitchen is within a ghost kitchen at Melrose Food Company on Western Ave, the ghost kitchen has some kinks to work out with service & communication but please do not let that stop you from ordering here. Showed up and placed an order on the iPad it's one of those spaces that multiple kitchens share as a hub for food delivery and takeout. We waited for 30 min for the text that was order was ready so we went in and asked and they couldn't find the order. They canceled the order without saying anything because one of the items wasn't available. Unseasoned. They don't season the shrimp or potatoes. They expect the sauce to be all the flavor I guess. But even that was lacking.

I saw a lot of reviews that praise the Daddy Sauce but if you order delivery through Door Dash you will not get any sauce, even if you order it. One day I hope to visit in person to taste the Daddy Sauce (which I'll admit sounds gross!). read more

Got the Fisherman's lunch special and the food was to die for !!! I could not believe how good this place was.

Best hotel ever! Amazing room service and felt very safe with the doorway metal detector. Got all my cloths tailored and will never get a haircut anywhere else again! If I could give there's guys a 10 star rating I would give them 11 stars. Great prices on laptops and nice refurbished smart TVs and cell phones, By far the best sauna experience in LA. They have the biggest most exotic collection of saltwater fish and fish tank equipment in SoCal.
