The interior is not the cleanest. The service was good. The food was good, but they were out of a lot of things.

This is one of the most popular fast food joints in the SouthEast US. It's new to me as a native Californian. Eating at Bojangles probably should be one of the must to-do to becoming a North Carolinian. You can easily drive to this location after shopping at the nearby Food Lion without having to go back on the main road (North Lake Park Boulevard). I tried their popular cajun chicken biscuit sandwich ($3.69), a bo-berry biscuit ($0.99), and a side of regular fries ($1.69). I ordered it through their drive-thru, which was quick and easy. The Cajun chicken biscuit comes plain, just a deep fried breaded (flour) biscuit sandwiched in between a biscuit cut in half. I didn't know that so I wished they asked me If I wanted any sauces to go with it. The chicken does have a mildy spicy Cajun seasoning that gives it flavor, but it definitely needs a sauce to make it more moist to eat. I didn't like how the chicken thickness was uneven. A quarter of it was pounded thin and then the rest of the chicken was over three times as thick. What they get right are the biscuits. The biscuits are one of the better biscuits you'll ever eat, especially for a fast food place. They hit all the criteria of what a biscuit should be- fluffy, soft, buttery flavor, and baked with a golden brown topping. Now that being said, I wasn't a big fan of the bo-berry biscuit. It's more like a dense blueberry coffee cake topped with a sugary sweet icing. They accidentally gave me two biscuits when I asked for one. That would have been a good thing if I actually liked them. The fries were steak-cut style, crispy. I liked the sweet and salty seasoning on the fries but it was not evenly dispersed. The fries definitely needed more seasoning. If I eat at a Bojangles again, I would stick to the plain biscuit sandwiches and remember to ask for their sauces.

Chicken biscuit!!! Avoid this Bojangles!!!! EVERY THING OVER COOKED AND COLD!!

Way too expensive for fried chicken. Not family economical. Service was good. Taste fair at best.

"Delicious dive on Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach"…read more Came here for lunch on a Sunday at right around noon. The place is dark and kind-of makes you feel like you're in the bowels of a wooden ship. There's a large bar in the center, and a few tables around it, as well as a few tables outside in the back. We were seated right away. I ordered the hot honey shrimp wrap as well as the pickled veggies appetizer. My dining partner got the quinoa grain and greens bowl with blackened tuna. Our food came out in around 10 minutes. The hot honey shrimp wrap came with french fries, to my surprise (didn't see that mentioned on the menu), which were fine. The wrap itself was DELICIOUS. MAN, that hot honey was SO tasty, and the greens and corn batter on the shrimp really complemented it well. It is a very, very messy dish to eat with your hands, so be prepared, but it's well worth the sacrifice. The pickled veggies were local and very tasty-- also a very good value for $5. My dining partner really liked her bowl and the tuna in it as well. The staff were quite attentive, regularly checking in, filling drinks, and clearing dirty plates. Only caution is that a lot of the batters are corn-based, so be careful if you have that allergy. Overall, would very happily come back-- great in all respects. I recommend highly!

Friends had the Burrito de Camarones (shrimp) and her husband had the Burritos Deluxe. They both said they were fantastic and they had more than enough for leftovers. They could only each eat half. Told you they are big!! I had the Tacos Mexicanos, with chicken. Kind of bummed that all three tacos had to be one meat/vegetarian option. Couldn't mix, but they were delicious! The tortillas are advertised as homemade and they did not disappoint. I'm glad I went with this option because my friend did the combination plate of a chicken hard shell taco, chicken enchilada and beef flauta. It looked dry to me and she confirmed it was really dry. We had Shrimp Ceviche; extremely tasty but a bit more spicy than I would like, but still good. The house made sangria was ok. They emphasize it's made with real fruit but it felt like a can of fruit cocktail was just mixed in it. The restaurant is large, and plenty of space, so it seemed, but you can order pick up if you'd rather not eat there. Coming from the southwest and having travelled to Mexico, the place was decent enough for a Mexican restaurant in North Carolina.

We ordered the fajitas Texan style, we shared this dish, our food came out hot and fast. We were pleasantly surprised with the food, we've eaten here over the years but today's meal was truly delicious and flavorful. There was plenty of shrimp (normally most Mexican restaurants only put 4 shrimps) this dish was covered in shrimp, along beef & chicken. There were plenty of crunchy vegetables that were not overcooked. My grandson had the chicken tenders they were a bit small but he said they were good. Our server checked on us more than a few times to make sure we didn't need anything else. We had a nice meal and the food was plentiful. They had served us a large basket of warm chips and the salsa was spicy. We left feeling full and satisfied.

Out on the pier at Tiki Bar & Ocean Grill, you've got a front-row seat to the Atlantic, and on a day like today, it doesn't get much better. Blue sky, sun hitting the water just right, and a breeze that reminds you why people have been coming to the coast long before fancy resorts showed up. Food Simple answer: they've got it dialed in. Fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what you want at the beach. No overthinking it--just good coastal food done right. That's how it's supposed to be. Service Friendly, easygoing, and attentive without hovering. The kind of service that makes you feel welcome but doesn't interrupt your view--or your drink. Atmosphere This is where they really win. Sitting out over the water with string lights overhead and waves rolling in? That's hard to beat anywhere. Now, yes--the beach itself has those big metal pipes running through for replenishment. Not exactly postcard material. But here's the truth: once you're up on that pier, looking out over the ocean, it barely matters. The view still does what it's supposed to do--makes you slow down and stay a while. Final Take Great food, solid service, and a view that carries the whole experience. Even with the beach work going on, this place delivers what a coastal spot should: good eats, cold drinks, and a reason to sit a little longer than you planned. If the weather's right, don't overthink it--grab a seat, order something simple, and enjoy it the way folks have been doing for generations.

We arrived around 4:30 and beat the dinner rush, which gave us a beautiful evening outside. We started with the fried okra, and there were barely any left by the time I thought to take a picture. Crisp, hot, and some of the best we've had. The Black and Red wings were excellent too--full of flavor with just the right amount of kick. The fries were seasoned and cooked just right. The outside seating has a great atmosphere, and even the little details stood out. The place was clean, including the restroom, and seeing their 97.5 sanitation score posted proudly gave us even more confidence.
