Honestly don't remember the last time I had been to a Bojangles. Maybe that partly plays into the fact that I am giving the 4 stars. Went at a time with no one in the drive-through and the person that took our order was friendly and answered any questions we had. The food was instantly ready when we got to the window which was great. No complaints at all about speed of service. The food was pretty solid. As others point out they serve tenders and sandwiches here and no bone-in chicken. The sandwich was great and competes with some of the best fast food chicken sandwiches. Also their fries were decent as well. Not my favorite fast food fry but not the worst. Had to get a sweet tea and can't complain about it at all. I wish I could get Bojangles more up in New England but will get my fix during visits down here. read more

The Sanford family visited the Sanford location and was treated like royalty. The managing partner greeted with a smile & great energy. They explained the menu and gave us suggestions on ordering for 20. The staff was super friendly & attentive! Food was fresh & delicious. Updating my review here because since that original opening, they have really made great strides in customer service. Without the large lines and long waits, the employees are much more knowledgeable and extremely nice. The environment isn't nearly as crowded and hectic and we actually enjoy sitting in the clean dining room. The food is consistently good although the menu and some recipes did change from a few years ago but that is from corporate not this location. This location has improved a lot now that they have some experience and stability from that initial grand opening. If you stopped going for some reason, give them another shot. read more

This was my first time to any Bojangles location. The drive thru was a bit frustrating as we tried to tell her our order 2-3 times. But then the person taking the order seemed to have switched. It didn't take very long to get our food. The macaroni was very good, but small portion size for the price. The chicken biscuit tasted fresh. For about $20 for 2 people, it felt high in price. Ms. Shaina and the staff present that day were friendly, attentive and helpful. Curiosity got the best of me so I drove the 45 minutes to try out the chicken here with my son. I ordered online and it was very easy. Options are reasonably priced. The drive thru was quick and service was very friendly. I got 3 5 piece meals which comes with a side and drink. I chose seasoned fries which actually just meh. But the chicken is excellent. My son's meal didn't make it home and I unwillingly closed mine back up after the first taste test. Will I be back ? Definitely. My son and I give 4 thumbs up lol. read more

Went here for lunch today knowing any fast food restaurant you go to in Sanford you have a 10% chance of being satisfied. Had me pull up to wait for order. Brought my combo meal out with no drink. What a joke. I arrived at Bojangles at 5:15 AM the other day and they were due to open at 5:30. When I went to the door it was still locked so I called the number and someone said that they were running late and were going to open at 5:45, again I went to the door and it was still locked and I called again and was told that they were opening at 6:00 which they did open. The lady that was ringing my order up was lost she could not figure out how to add tomato and cheese to a biscuit and had to call a supervisor by this time I had been waiting over 45 minutes. What a pathetic excuse for a Bojangles this place is. We lost three Bojangles a few years back because the owner was selling real estate and never into food. But at least his stores sold real chicken on the bone. This joke of a store only sells tenders. Basically it's children's food. Chicken on the bone is moister and has more flavor. Just go down the road to Popeyes and see. We drove to a Bojangles in St. Augustine from Lake Mary to get the real thing. You should too unless this dumpster fire of a restaurant changes. read more

I understand just opened which is why it gets 3 stars instead of 2. The service for the drive through line is terrible. Myself and other cars were told to drive around the building to enter but other cars were allowed to cut this portion all together getting in front of myself and others with no consequences. We were not given any menu so when a worker came up to our card we asked for one. She immediately got a menu for us and then left to take the order for cars behind us. For a fast food chain their hospitality and at home feel from the employees was great. It's been years since I've eaten BoJangles but let me tell you, the food was fresh, chicken, fries, and biscuits were cooked perfectly and hot. I appreciate people like this because it shows there's still people in this world that take pride in what they do regardless of job, (not a jab at anyone working there).
