This was the best restaurant food i've had in a while since moving from Orange County. Our server, Joseph was so very kind and helpful. He talked us through the chefs specials and assured us the food would be amazing. I am so glad we chose this establishment for our anniversary celebration. We chose to sit in the outdoor area and it was so nicely set up. We went around 7pm and as the sun was going down, we have amazing views of the sky, vineyards, restaurant set up, and soft lighting. The food we got was: Croquettas and calamari as our starters (and they came out very fast! Both were so amazing, couldn't get enough) Entrees were the skirt steak for me and my husband got a seafood pasta. Drinks were amazing as well! We really appreciated our time here. Really worth the time and money. Not to mention, all the dishes are fairly priced! For being so delicious, we were amazed. Thank you Bolero and thank you Joseph!
My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Bolero, and the evening was nothing short of exceptional. From the warmth of the service to the remarkable quality of the food, it was a dining experience we will remember for a long time. Our server, Christina, was truly wonderful. She guided us thoughtfully through the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and took such genuine care of us throughout the evening. She checked on us often to ensure that we were enjoying each course, and when she learned that I'm a passionate foodie, she took a sincere interest in hearing my thoughts on the flavor profiles of the tapas and entrées we sampled. That kind of engagement made the experience feel especially personal. Even more impressive, she mentioned that it was her first day serving on her own -- something we never would have guessed, as she carried herself with grace, confidence, and professionalism throughout the meal. We were also grateful for Liz, who assisted at our table. We had asked about the bread served with two of our dishes, and she kindly took the time to find out who made it and even wrote the information down for us. That level of attentiveness and hospitality speaks volumes. As for the food, it was simply extraordinary -- without question, the best meal I have had all year. We began with the Organized Caesar, and since my wife and I have always believed that a great Caesar salad says a great deal about a restaurant, this was a wonderful place to start. Beautifully presented in jicama wraps resembling sushi rolls, it was both inventive and delicious. The finely chopped romaine, flavorful dressing, and perfectly seasoned croutons came together in a way that made the Caesar taste even more vibrant and pronounced. It was a memorable and refined interpretation of a classic. At Christina's suggestion, we then ordered the Berenjena, and it was superb. The interplay of flavors, paired with the eggplant and shishito peppers, was beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying. Next came the Garlic Shrimp, which was absolutely outstanding. The U-10 shrimp were cooked to perfection and served in a rich garlic-tomato sofrito accented with white wine and garlic, alongside impeccably toasted bread. Every element of the dish was executed beautifully. We finished with the Skirt Steak, prepared medium rare and served over crisp twice-fried potato cubes with chimichurri and romesco sauce. It was yet another exceptional plate -- expertly prepared, deeply flavorful, and a fitting finale to the meal. What made the evening especially striking is that my wife and I dined at Bolero about four years ago, and while we enjoyed it, it did not leave a particularly lasting impression at the time. This visit was an entirely different experience. Bolero has now earned a place in my Top 5 restaurants. I do not know who was in the kitchen that evening, but the chefs absolutely delivered a meal of the highest caliber. Thank you to Christina for making our anniversary celebration feel so special, and to Liz for her kindness and extra care. We look forward to returning.
Food was absolutely delicious. We were a party of 4 and we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. Tami took care of us and gave us some superb recommendations. The brussel sprouts salad dish and the pulpo salad were so refreshing and tasty, and the skirt steak was absolutely delicious! A small paella can feed 4 people easily. It was huge. We had such a great time that I went again with my husband the next night and had another awesome dinner! We got the pulpo salad again (that's how much we loved it) and the bone marrow dish which was incredibly rich and delicious. It paired so well with the wine flight that our server chose for us. If we stayed in Temecula another night, I honestly would have come the 3rd night if I was able to get another reservation.
This place was really picked up since the opening of their Spanish offerings on site. For a week night it was absolutely packed. While service was always friendly and attentive the kitchen was exceptionally slow even for non paella items. We opted for the Bolero paella which is rather new with lobster tails. Flavor was on point as always and ask for their spicy home made salsa and chimicurri sauce (thank me later). Other stellar dish which is new this year is the bone marrow pot pie. Crisp and butter crust with creamy fillings and the amazing bone marrow butter to top off. Seafood pasta was perfectly cooked but will def pass on this dish. It was way too creamy and not well balanced with acidity. Otherwise I hope they fix their kitchen issues. This place is a gem for the area
I made a RESERVATION on their website for a party of 4 for Sunday Brunch. My sis in law was visiting us for the first time. I can totally understand because she lives 2 hours away! So we decided to take her one of the best wineries in our opinion and brunch spot... SUNDAY BRUNCH: $61 per person. You can also get a discount with the winery club membership... I went for my usual FAVORITES!!! PRIME RIB: 9/10 cooked to a nice pink center. A bit chewy but, flavorful... SHRIMP & MUSSEL COCKTAIL: 7/10 made my stomach feel weird afterwards... GREEN SAUCE next to the PAELLA: STAR OF THE SHOW. It tasted great with everything including the veggies and prime rib... Salmon was overcooked! GRILLED VEGGIES: 9/10 My favorite but, I noticed that age ASPARAGUS were missing! So I asked a nice young lady and she brought me some from the back... Overall, my sis in law loved the food, ambiance and service. Our server was MARK! It was so busy but, he kept coming back to check on us... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOLERO RESTAURANTE!!!! BRAVO!!!!
I just had the best paella I've ever had here. It was flavorful, and you could taste the seafood flavors in every grain of rice. The seafood was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the New York steak, which was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious green sauce. The Brussels sprouts salad with goat cheese and cranberries were delicious as well. The restaurant is beautiful, and we had a lovely lunch on the patio, enjoying the gorgeous weather. The service was just okay, though. Our server never refilled our water glasses and took a long time to check on us toward the end of the meal. Although she was very sweet. We will come back to try their wine.
This is where I celebrated my birthday dinner in 2024! We had reservations, but decided to eat earlier since we were already in the area. It wasn't too busy, so we were able to get seated right away. We shared a charcuterie board to start with. For drinks, I chose the refrescante mocktail and he got the Paso Doble Margarita and also a glass of 2018 Bodegas Ego "Goru Gold." We also shared the ceviche and some bread with burrata! Everything was tasty and we were getting full before the main course. The paella took about 30 minutes to come out and had big pieces of steak and shrimp! We were too full to finish, but saved room for ice cream and dessert! He ordered the Vietnamese coffee ice cream and it was delicious and creamy! They use Mariposa ice cream, so you know it's good! For my birthday dessert, they brought out a little brownie and a scoop of ice cream with a candle on it. Overall, I had a pleasant time here. After we got the bill, we went outside to check out the guitarist and when we came back to get our leftover paella, they had cleared out table. We were kinda sad since there was a lot leftover. Oh well.
This review is based off their breakfast brunch! They offer it until 1PM. My girls and I went on the weekend and I believe the price is about $60 per person. They offer an omelette bar, meat stations, a raw bar with ahi tuna slices, salmon poke, shrimp, and mussels, and some other hot food items and salads. From the buffet I loved their braised beef, mash potatoes, and empanadas. I would refrain from getting the salmon poke, as it was extremely fishy. It was a standard breakfast buffet with few gourmet items being a hit or miss. Lots of times people were in and out of stations, so I didn't bother to flag someone down for an omelette. The desserts could be encased as well, as there were many flies on the cakes and pastries; I thought the overall experience was standard, though I think a dinner experience would be better here.
Left the Coachella Valley on a whim to stay in Temecula for a couple of nights since it was 20 degrees colder than home. This restaurant was recommended to us, and we really enjoyed it. Our server was very attentive and did an excellent job, even though it was quite a busy evening. The dining room was comfortable and inviting. We ordered 3 small plates and the sea bass to share. The small plates were excellent, especially the crudo and calamari, but I failed to take pics. The only thing we felt could have been better for us was the temperature of the sea bass as we felt it was slightly undercooked, but, in hindsight, we should have specified how we like it. Obviously, the wine was excellent. We will return.
Tapas Tuesday are out on the patio and first come first serve for tables. You grab a table and a server will come help you. It was busy and the service was a bit slow, but the love music playing was amazing and filled the time. We tried all the food on the tapas Tuesday menu and the best thing was the steak. All the other dishes were decent. Be warned that their credit system populates suggested tip for 18+% based on the total including tax, which inflates the tip.
Bolero is a Spanish restaurant located inside Europa Village Wineries & Resort in Temecula Wine Country. Their menu is tapas-style so you order plates and share among your party. There's a section for the restaurant that includes both indoor and outdoor seating. There's also an adjacent building for their wine tasting which looked to have a ton of people. We were seated outside where we had a view of the vineyards. SALMON & AHI TUNA CRUDO ($25) - the sauce was refreshing and spicy. The chips that came with it were hard to scoop into the crudo so we had to use our spoons to eat. 4/5 EMPANADAS ($22) - there are both chicken and beef flavors. They were crispy and I preferred the chicken. 4/5 CROQUETAS ($15) - the croquettes themselves were decent with a crunchy outside and soft potatoes inside. I especially liked the short ribs underneath. 3.5/5 LINGUINI DE MARISCOS ($42) - this was definitely our favorite dish. The sauce was flavorful and I liked the big shrimp and scallops. The cheesy bread was also nice to dip into the sauce. 4.5/5 BOLERO PAELLA ($75) - they say it takes 45 minutes but for us it only took 30. I liked the beef, lobster, and shrimp on top but the rice was a little soggy. I would've liked more socarrat (the crispy layer on the bottom) because there really wasn't much at all. 3.5/5 For drinks we ordered the smoke & mirrors ($18) and isla rosada ($18) which were both good. We made reservations online ahead of time and I recommend you do the same. It was packed on Saturday evening and we overheard that it was about a 2 hour wait without a reservation.

We ordered the pulpo (grilled octopus), croquetas, lubina (sea bass), and surf and turf paella. Everything was delicious, but the sea bass was my favorite dish, as the fish and vegetables were very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The surf and turf paella unfortunately was a miss. Everything tasted great separately, meat, seafood, rice; but altogether it didn't mesh well. I got too much grilled smokiness with the light fragrance of fish and it didn't work for me. Next time, I'd love to try the seafood paella; Service was stellar as always. Everyone from hostess, servers, and bussers were very quick, kind and accommodating. Tami was especially amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner, and always had a smile on her face. Ambiance is lovely, moderately noisy but we were still able to carry conversations along with every other table around us. I really enjoy coming to Bolero out of all the wineries in the area. Wow! Tammy, Gober, Todd, and Hani made me feel like I owned the place. Blown away by the intimate service after many years. We picked up conversations where we left off. From the early days of creating off-menu paella to old family stories. The ambiance is still what it was when it first opened. Cozy and inviting with Spanish vibes. Don't worry, their kindness did not jade my review :) What did i eat? I Paired it with a Antidoto Tempranillo. Don't be fooled by the fried potato. Has a light crunch and crème-like texture that melts in your mouth. Ingredients are well balanced and good for sharing or a single tapa before a main dish. It's a perfect companion for any red. Micro greens are fresh. and are more for presentation and texture if anything. Best part ...The garlic aioli adds a slight tang that's washed by the silk-smooth braised beef. If you're looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Temecula wine country, Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village is a must! The food, the ambiance, and the service all come together perfectly here. We started with the croquettes, and wow -- perfectly crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside. It's one of those dishes you order "to share" but secretly wish you had all to yourself. And for dessert, the Torta de Bolero completely stole the show. The Almond Olive Oil Cake was moist and subtly sweet, paired beautifully with the lemon curd and sorbete de mora. Every bite was a perfect balance of tart, sweet, a hint of heat, and creamy -- just divine. We sat at the bar top and had an incredible experience thanks to Alan, Tami, and another bartender whose name I didn't catch -- all of them were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. Their drink recommendations were spot on, and their attention to detail really elevated the whole evening. Can't wait to come back! To start, our server and the sommelier were both great--friendly and attentive. I've been here a couple of times before, and while those visits were disappointing (burnt paella and undercooked, overly seasoned churros), I decided to give it another shot. This time, we ordered a variety of tapas. They were just okay--maybe a 5 out of 10. I've spent time in Spain, so I had higher hopes. For the main course, we went with the paella and the Tomahawk steak. The paella was overcooked and pretty average. The Tomahawk, which we ordered medium-rare, came out well-done. The flavor wasn't bad, but at a place in this price range, getting the steak temperature wrong is hard to overlook. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, but I'm open to trying the new Italian and French spots instead. read more

Came here in a Sunday due to the awesome photos. They sat us quickly and everyone was so nice from the front door man, Denis, who was literally the first and last smile you see! So sweet! The food was stellar. We were concerned upon arrival hearing it was $60 buffet brunch. However, the small bites menu was hearty and everything came out great. When we walked through we saw how huge and fancy the brunch set up is though, definitely worth it if you're that hungry!! We had some awesome margaritas and the pear martini was good! We need enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the outdoor seating area! The best ever expresso martini I have ever had! The Hazeltini!! Cheers!!! My husband enjoyed the Verdelho and Diosa Roja wines!! Brunch was amazing, even before the buffet! You have to try their candied bacon. Not as ridiculous as I thought, which was good for me! Brisket poached Benedict: delicious. Bloody Mary's: delicious. This is the first time we've ever been to this location. It's like stepping into Spain or Italy. Not kidding. We were transported to another place. We put our names onto the waitlist for Bolero Restaurant and then walked around the grounds to check things out. Boy! So glad we did. It's another world! Just going to say we were impressed (won't ruin it for you). The Marketplace was well stocked and impressive. The Cave was jaw-dropping. The outdoor spaces were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We had brunch at Bolero. The food selection was incredible with seafood, vegetables, paella, risottos, charcuterie, roasted vegetables, chilled seafood, salads, prime rib and the melt in your mouth salmon. There is also a sweet bar with pancakes, fruit, pastries and more. I did not get a chance to try the omelet bar. I was focused on the other stuff. We'll definitely be back. My favorite was the golden beet salad, cocktail shrimp and salmon. The pancakes were to die for. The sangria I sipped on was heavenly. Hubby had the Old Fashioned and two other cocktails. We had fun. Was recommended to try this place by our tour guide and boy the Spanish restaurant did not disappoint. The food was absolutely flavorful and beautiful to look at. We tried the calamari, open faced empanadas, and the Bolero paella. Calamari was our favorite and I'm not even crazy about seafood, but wow was it good and fresh. Empanadas were tasty, but didn't do much else like the calamari did. Bolero paella for two was plenty to eat. Great flavors, only thing that could have made it better was if it had more protein. It lists steak, shrimp and pork in the dish, but you don't get much of each. We ordered a bottle of Granacha Rosa and it was such a happy mouth feel. Very delicious indeed. Service was fantastic. Problem was the POS system wasn't working well. Took awhile to pay for our meal. This is a huge Spanish style restaurant and has many rooms for different occasions. They have the main restaurant, tasting rooms, music area, gift shop, and some outdoor sections to boot! Despite the shear size, it was packed to the gills. The Bolero Restaurant is a nice quaint atmosphere for fancy dining. Service is good with the servers coming to check in often. I tried (almost) everything on the Tapas Tuesday menu so you don't have to lol. Long story short, you can't go wrong with anything you pick. The only item I did not try was the Dos Tacos, but I would bet that those are probably delicious as well. When I drove in, I was immediately impressed by how beautiful the property was. The detailed architecture, outdoor string lights, and live music created a wonderful atmosphere. The food was incredible. I loved the pimientos. I already love shishito peppers, these were beautifully prepared and the garlic aioli paired nicely. The empanadas-- INCREDIBLE. Could not recommend more, the crispy flaky pastry on the outside and the flavorful ground beef filling on the inside came together so well. The bistec I ordered rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The romesco sauce added a tomatoey layer that complimented the steak very nicely. Both had a warm and rich feeling that contrasted the crunchy texture of the crispy onions especially well. The calamares was also done well, with quality pieces of calamari, a light and crispy texture, and it came drizzled in a creamy Spanish paprika aioli. Would HIGHLY recommend every food item I tried. I also had a glass of the Laudum Old Vine Red Blend and the Bolero Mazuelo. Both were absolutely delicious and wonderful recommendations by Joseph, my server, who also happened to be a sommelier! Spanish style restaurant part of the winery at the top of the hill seems like a good place to enjoy a special event or family function, but also want to have a business dinner. They have club for the wine, but really it was not that expensive for the quality of food seem like a creative menu and the service was Excellent throughout. Enjoy. read more
Dined here for my anniversary. The space is beautiful decorated with an indoor outdoor elegance. Kayla, our server, was very attentive. We laughed at the amount of food we ordered. Paella presentation was made with Ingredients I've never seen. It was so good, we were scraping the skillet. Potato puff on beef presentation was cute. Beef was cooked perfectly. First time visiting Temecula, I was aware that the vineyards have a reputation for their upscale cuisine. This place was ridiculously good. The food was delicious. The crudo was the true MVP! The photo does it no justice, but I kid not every single bite was spectacular with tons of flavor and spice. The croquetas were divine, definitely upscale. The paella was a bit salty for my liking, but still enjoyed it. I would have given them a 5, but I was bummed out that we weren't able to get seating inside. Even with the heaters on we were still freezing. I'll definitely will be back. Hopefully, next time I'm able to enjoy the meal indoors and bump up the score to a 5. Apparently their seating policy -indoor seating is dedicated for reservations only. I'll make sure to make a reservation. read more

Saturdays and Sundays are supposed to be buffet brunch, from 10am to 2pm.
