Been craving to come back here for a while. Wanted to order…read moreeverything on the menus. Service from Steve is always great! We started with the banchan, then meat mandu and fried chicken wings came out. DDUKBOKEE came right after as all our appetizers. JJAMBONG -so big and tasty we had to take togo (sorry forgot to take a picture) HOT STONE BIBIM BAP added Beef - a little bland even with red sauce but still yummy KALBI -very tender & juicy (also forgot to take a picture lol) We had the above entrees to share After dinner we got free Melona melon bars!

The waitstaff were attentive and helpful. Only complaint about the setting is that every time someone went in or out, a rush of cold air would enter. Try not to sit too close to the door. As far as the food, daughter and I just ordered soon dubu (soft tofu stew) and ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes). We're Korean so flavor profile wise, it seemed to cater to non Korean palates. The soon dubu was not spicy and had too much of a sesame oil flavor and the ddukbokki was sweet with no spiciness at all. I think if you are non Korean, the seasoning was good and the food flavorful, just not the flavors we were expecting. Also, although the menu makes it seem like you have to pay for the banchan (appetizers), we did not, it came with the staple kimchee, and a couple other dishes. Not sure why they had prices on the menu unless they charge for refills? They also gave us this yummy ice cream bite for dessert which is usually unheard of in Korean restaurants. Having said all this, I do want to recommend this place, it was a nice local restaurant to get some Asian dishes with a great waitstaff.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. I also added my favorite item from some of my usual spots. #2 Chongqing Zaier (Yunnan) #3 Ke Lai Qin (Hunan) - chili fish head #4 Joe's Steam Rice Roll (Cantonese) - shrimp roll #5 Tarim Uyghur Cuisine (Uyghur) - lamb skewer #6 A Zhong (Taiwanese) - thread noodle soup #7 Kung Fu Tea (Boba Shop) #8 Grilled Squid (Korean, Chinese) #9 Xiao Luo Luo (Guanxie) #10 Xiang Ba Ye (Hunan) #11 Piaoxiang Yuan (Dongbei) - potato noodles #12 Tiger Sugar (Boba Shop) - black sugar milk tea #13 Gong Cha (Boba Shop) #14 Lanzhou Handmade Noodle (Lanzhou) #16 Laoma Ma La Tang (Szechuan) - mixed dry pot #18 Eight Beautitudes (Korean) #19 Chong Qung Xiao Mian (Szechuan) - spicy noodle #20 Yozi Duck Vermicelli Soup (Shanghai) - duck soup #21 Nai Brother (Szechuan) - sauerkraut fish #22 Mr. Pang (Taiwanese) #23 Ramen & Udon (Japanese) #24 Tian Fu (Szechuan) #25 Chick Rocks (Chicken Shop) #26 Mojoilla Fresh (Taiwan) - egg waffle #27 Royal Queen (Cantonese) - roast meats #28 Xi'an Cuisines (Xian) - lamb burger #29 Liu Liu Sheng Jian (Shanghai) - soup dumplings #30 C/K Dumplings & Noodles (Dongbei) - dumplings #31a O'Sun Teriyaki (Japanese) #31b Wang's Beef Offal House (Cantonese) - beef I do wish this place was cleaner, smells better and have free wifi service. However, I'm here for the great food options and can overlook quite a bit. Therefore, though there are shortcomings, I block it all out and just enjoy what they do offer, which is large variety of delicious cuisines from around China/Asia.

Went to new world mall for the soup dumplings, also tried a hot chicken spot (Chick Rocks)…read more The sandwich will definitely keep you full, it can get a little too much though with the fried taste. Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

I came here several times only for IKEA! Parking is impossible here. Got to wait for an open spot…read moreclose to the mall! This IKEA is really good when it comes to security compared to the one in Brooklyn where you got security checking everyone's receipts to see if you stole anything. Since this one is in Long Island, everything is seamless when checking out. Both IKEA locations still got the same type of products. This Broadway mall also has a movie theater where you can catch a late night movie after shopping and eating so that's a plus! Movies inside a mall is a must for me!

It's really unfortunate what happened to America's malls. When I was growing up malls were the…read morecenter of our shopping universe. Not only did we shop there but it also served as a place to meet with friends and have social interactions. Not only did we enjoy shopping the stores, but the food court was always a great resting place to get some delicious, but probably unhealthy options Fast forward 30 years and malls are no longer the weekend family outing that it used to be. No more going to shop for your Easter clothes, Christmas presents or that last minute birthday gift that you forgot. Remember getting the family Christmas photo with Santa? I used to shop for my club clothes in the mall, but we won't talk about those selections. Oak Tree! Gone are the times of having to navigate through a sea of people and still bumping into someone by mistake. I can literally count the number of people in the mall today by hand. Keep in mind this is 2:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Should be prime time Clearly this isn't this Mall's fault. The slow death of America's malls have been happening across the country for years. This is just another victim. I was hoping the food court was still open but even that is closed This mall only hangs on by the grace of his anchor stores. Ikea is a big one. You also have a burger place, pizza place and several stores on the outskirts. If they ever leave, the mall will be doomed Try to support local business!

I went to the Melville location once they opened. I placed an order online so it was quick and easy…read moreto customize my order and pay ahead of time. I ordered two bowls from Yasas. Once I arrive my order was ready. The interior is bright and clean. Very minimal seating as it's meant more for grab and go. The bowls were exactly as I ordered and I was actually surprised with how much food they give. It was also really delicious. I would love to return and try other vendors.

It really is a wonder…read more.. The concept here is great. It's a virtual food court with lots of different options...something for everyone! You can order on the app, or order on the kiosk when you arrive. You can either pay with your card or pay in cash in person. I ordered from Michal Symon's Mediterranean place. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki & Avocado Sandwich. It was described as chicken souvlaki, tomatoes, cucumbers, red pepper, feta, avocado, romaine, hummus, eggplant spread, and crispy shallots. It was all on top of a pita which was placed in a container. It made it very difficult to take out of the container and I wasn't able to eat it as a sandwich. Flavor-wise it was tasty though. It is very wasteful though. The containers of food go in a bag and my can of soda went in another bag. There's a much better way of doing this and not wasting so much material and plastic. I was also told my name would be called when my order was ready. This was not the case. I did opt-in for text updates. That's how I knew my order was ready. When I received the text I grabbed my order from the shelf and the employee was not very nice about it. She needs better customer service training. There are only about 4 tables inside. The wait was about 20 minutes. I feel it's one and done for me.
