We had previously tried the salad roll as an appetizer, and went for the Took Took's roll this time. That worked well. The shrimp and crab meet is an interesting choice, but it was generally good. The tom yum soup was pretty spot on. The Pad Kra Paw and Pad Pak (both with vegetables rather than protein) were basically indistinguishable. Both good, but very similar. The Panang curry with tofu was good but was more tofu than vegetable. Not particularly noteworthy. One detail I'll note is that they allow for selecting a spiciness level for basically every dish, on a scale from zero to five. We went with a four, which is pretty standard for us. Turns out, that's very spicy at Took Took. That's what we ordered, but it's worth keeping in mind. Overall, this is a good destination. The food is nicely prepared. It's a good overall experience. It's just not at the top of my list for Thai food in Pittsburgh.

The broth used for the pho is vegan, but you can add various meats to your soup. I had the tofu pho, and my guest had the beef pho. The dish was presented with the broth on the side, and was added at the table. It was very tasty, and full of fresh veggies. It was served with lime wedges, hoisin sauce and sriracha! We also had a brown sugar boba, and lychee boba, both with tapioca pearls. They have popping boba available, and you can build your own boba. So many options.
