The coffees & sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The barista (forget her name) was very sweet and kind. We talked with the owner a bit and found her to be just as nice & attentive. Great experience and will go back when in the area hiking again. Really cute shop inside - love the theme. 2 huge iced coffees & 2 sandwiches $40.

Salty Grenade

First time trying this coffee shop since Gecko Espresso moved out. The coffee is great and the baristas gave me great recommendations. I tried the salty grenade since you can't go wrong with a caramel-mocha latte! Great coffee and great service!

Was in the area visiting family and in need of coffee. Luckily Bomb Bru was near by and I was able to order online since I was also in a rush. After placing the order I got a call almost right away from an employee. They were just letting me know of some of the items they were out of. It was a bummer but glad they let me know before I drove there. I get there. Drinks were ready which was nice since all I wanted was my coffee. Employee was sweet. They checked in with me as soon as I got there and let me know they were still working on my food orders. Place was really nice and cute. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Inside felt really relaxing with sofas. Overall nice place. If we are ever in the area again we will for sure be stopping by.

Pup cup

We've lived in Gold Canyon for over a year and finally tired this place. We wish we went in sooner! The coffee is amazing, we love the seasonal pumpkin options. And the best part is they are dog friendly

Turkey Bacon Avacado

I have worked in the Gold Canyon area for years, and finding good food has been difficult. Bomb Bru didn't grab my attention when it first opened since it is a coffee place and I don't drink coffee. Out for an errand though, I stopped in and grabbed the "tripwire" - their version of a turkey, bacon, avocado on a croissant - and I was blown away. It was delicious, made fresh and only cost about $8. A total steal and my new regular lunch spot when I am in the area. I am excited to try out the breakfast sandwiches in the future as well. The young woman who works there is extremely kind and helpful, and makes the sandwiches as well. Help support this small business :)

Extremely great service and good coffee. They don't have a drive through. Baked goods are average.

So worth getting out of the car! Service is always great and the atmosphere is cozy! Husband and wife own this shop. Veteran and women owned!

This is the IUD, egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on Sourdough. It is THE BEST! I get it w/o avocado which it comes with.

I have been going at least twice a week for over a year. It is always, always a great experience. The coffee is great, the speciality drinks are so fun and creative, the service is exceptional, and the food is delicious!

Strong coffee I love it stopped for a pick me up on coffee. We could've went to Starbucks but a local business is a sure way to go! Btw people be keepin it REAL out here

The service was great. We got the mocha frappe and it was great. I would definitely recommend a stop at this place to support local businesses instead of the chains.

Sunday Breakfast Buffet: Pros + Great selection of food that was kept at good temperatures (common buffet concern) + Omelettes made to order and can get eggs to order as well + Coffee carafe left to refill coffee to avoid running out until you consume the whole thing + Stunning golf course views + Slow in July, so a quiet atmosphere for the family to catch up Cons - Parking is hard to find on a Sunday at 9am, likely lots of golfers - Slow in July, so have to wait for staff to notice you to be seated and to be served at the omelette station - Room temperature was warm, but could be due to 84° + 60% humidity Overall, we enjoyed the breakfast and always love an omelette station. Additionally, here is a dinner review as we returned to try dinner later that week. When we entered, we were shocked to see the same server who recognized us. Great to have a friendly face to start our Friday evening catching up with family over a martini, or in my case two. What We Ordered (pictured): - Dirty Vodka Martini: loved all the options for vodka and really enjoyed with Belvedere. - Fish & Chips Friday Special: I tried a piece and a little too breaded for my taste, but my dad throughly enjoyed. He said he'd return again as two large pieces and $14.99 was an excellent price point. - Crispy Wings: My mom said these were okay, but nothing special as she prefers ATL Wings. - Onion Rings: Both my auntie and mom raved about these, and were the highlight of the meal for them. - New Orleans Salmon: A bit pricey, but I enjoyed the burre blanc sauce with the shrimp. Very delicious and great sides served alongside. Not sure a do over for the price point ($35), but very delicious for likely frozen fish. Overall, we were pleased with both meals and I could see us potentially returning as I only live about 8 miles from here.

I had a wedge salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce was fresh/crispy, the chicken was grilled fantastically, and the blue cheese dressing was perfect (not drowning the salad). I thought a diner would be a low key breakfast before a bougie weekend. I had seen this opened in the last year or so, and we decided to check it out. We were greeted immediately by our server, and seated quickly. While we looked at the menu and waited for our food, we took in the decor. This is a cute retro diner and we had high hopes as a good diner breakfast is something we both always enjoy. What We Ordered: - Large Orange Juice: nothing fancy, just store bought orange juice. For $3.99 it wasn't bad as other places can be a much high price point. - Eggs Benedict - $14: the potatoes tasted old and greasy. The hollandaise was okay, but lacked some acidity to bring it alive. Overall, very average and definitely wouldn't order again. - Hot Cakes - $10 (+$1.99 for blueberry): my boyfriend remarked they were pretty bland, and was left wishing we had gone somewhere else. The decor was more memorable than the food, unfortunately. We would go to another establishment in the future most likely, or try lunch or dinner as perhaps they are known for that versus breakfast.

We were immediately greeted when we walked in making us feel right at home. 50's decor and outfits made us feel like a step back in time. Our server was attentive and we even got to meet the owner! I asked for decaf and the server said it wasn't fresh but she'd brew a fresh pot for me - I knew this would be a great experience from then on. Portions were amazingly huge and I had to ask for a container as the home fries were much too good to leave behind. Eggs Benedict and The Mini Break were delicious. I will return! Would like to try their dinner/lunch menu!

Sooo annoying. Staffs were friendly and the decor is nice like the west Mesa location. Well tried something new, ordered birria ramen, taquitos, and chilaquiles pastor. Menu was little confusing because I thought it was extra for eggs on the birria but I guess its included. Never tried birria ramen so I was little skeptical. Well well, too my surprise, ramen birria was pretty tasty. Ramen quaily was little better than I expected, nice and chewy. Broth was tasty but definitely was not spicy. Dish also came with I guess tacos with melted cheese? Ate one and it was tasty. Eggs cooked perfect to my order. Taquitos was tasty but nothing special. Chilaquiles was tasty but pastor was little bit on the blend side but still tasty. I really like this place, can't go wrong with their food. I'm just bummed it was not the weekend. Guess I'll have to try again on the weekend.

The vibe is modern Latin Fusion, light and bright. Modern contemporary wall pattern designs Art and logos are notable throughout. Table to ceiling windows let in a tremendous amount of natural light. Some say music sets the mood; well it surprised me today. It was almost like the couple fighting over which radio station to listen to. When it's playing I enjoy the Rumba Rhythms and similar beats but today was all over the place. Service 3/5 I'm being a bit generous with the 3. We were greeted quickly by the hostess who seated us immediately upon entering. The Resturant was after the "lunch rush" and appeared to be at about half capacity. Dispute this our server stopped occasionally hardly breaking stride to get an order twice because he couldn't stop long enough to get the orders properly. Same for refills. Food 5/5 I really looked forward to this revisit. Last time we had table neighbors who both got this delicious concoction of Latin inspired bowl with Birria taco, meat and Roman noodles. That was top of mind for this visit and included 3 skillet fried jalapeños. The food was amazing. The Birria bowl was built around some papas fetas, Birria broth with the roman well cooked in the broth. The bowl was topped with three Birria and cheese tacos which I removed to a side plate to enjoy separately. The bowl in also accompanied by fresh diced Onions and Cilantro. The dish and the fried jalapeños were fantastic. I definitely would have this again. Get your Fusion confusion on my Friends- SYOY!
