I discovered this place with a few of my Arabic friends. This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. My favorite time to go is during the afternoon when they have their buffet, because I can't ever just have one dish! I love the suji halwa, chicken tikka Masala, and mango milk shake the best! I have to stop here every time I'm in town. I took my boyfriend here and he too agreed the quality is unmatched. We love Bombay Sitar! No other Indian restaurant comes close! I went here with my dad on a friday evening, it wasn't too busy. The food was fantastic, very extensive menu with a great range of option. I got the chicken tikka masala, the flavor was amazing and came with rice. we also got masala naan bread. there was so much flavor in all of the food. my dad got the karachi lamb, both of the entrees had so much sauce to go with the protein. overall very fantastic food, I definitely recommend. read more

This is my happy place! My favorite is the Chilli Panear, a great combination of flavor and texture. Though you can never go wrong with any of their food options. If you are feeling adventurous, go for the buffet as its a great way to try the flavors and food, especially if you aren't familiar with Indian cuisine. Me and my wife have come to LOVE Indian food over the last couple years and this is as good as you're going to find. We usually go for their lunch buffet (get there before 2 PM), which always tastes fresh, has a ton of options and is better quality than many Indian restaurants I have been to. Fresh tasty options are replenished quickly by an attentive staff. Pros: Tandoori Chicken, naan bread, lamb, chicken curry, samosas, and a great array of vegetable/bean dishes. Cons: the owners need to salt the parking lot for patrons. Navigating the icy pavement and sidewalks on our January 9th lunch was dangerous. I was very pleased with my meal tonight. I started out with a delicious appetizer called vegetable samosa which is a tasty fried morsel filled with peas and potatoes, and they give you a spicy green dip and a prune dip to accommodate the appetizer. The main course was chicken tandoori which is chicken sizzled in s clay oven with onions, red and green peppers. I also enjoyed the naan bread and basmati rice. One of the best buffets I have ever had. This restaurant is worth every penny. They have plenty of food items in the buffet and the quality of the food is also authentic. Staff is friendly, quality is consistent, I enjoy eating over here. They serve variety of food from chaat to Biryani in buffet which you can't find elsewhere. I am originally from Bombay (India) and I must say this place reminded me of the cuisine from my motherland! I am have been to quite a few Indian buffets around US, but this by far is one of the best offering (saturday buffet). This is what we call as a 'daavat' (feast) and that too at an economical price. The reason I rate this venue so high is both because of the quality as well as the number of dishes offered in the buffet. The finesse of the food combined with the kind-and-dressed-in-traditional Indian-outifts employees makes it a restaurant which should be in every foodie's list. In the evenings you can sit down and order but why would you do that when you could get a buffet this wonderful? Because it would still be worth it probably. The spices and flavors are so abundant in Indian food and Bombay Sitar's food is no exception. Curries, chicken, lamb, goat, sauces with chickpeas, rice, nan, other breads, breaded vegetables, other vegetables, cheese patties, yogurts, Indian ice cream, Indian chai tea, smoothies... We were visiting from out of town and went with a large group to their new location. We arrived right at opening and had to wait a few minutes for them to put a table together. The environment was pretty normal for an Indian buffet. Nothing was very high quality but there was a ton of food. I was a bit dissapointed that everything seemed to have a bit of spice which meant I couldn't serve much to my kids but rice and Naan. As far as Indian food goes, it was average. My daughter and I know next to nothing about Indian food, so a huge thank you to our terrific server!! He looked more Swedish than Indian, but he answered all our questions and was super nice and helpful. He suggested a combination dinner for two that included the Mixed Grill, a lamb dish, a veggie dish, bread and rice. The chicken soup we chose was a bit of a surprise. Expecting a wedding soup look, was WAY off . It was deep green, tomato soup consistency with bits of chicken in it. We were both pleasantly surprised that we liked it!! The mixed grill was very dry and we did not find or (recognize) any shrimp, that was suppose to be in it. We mentioned it to our server and he said it was usually juicy. We won't order that again. We were given the option of "spiciness" too, from mild to Indian hot! We chose medium for our unfamiliar tastebuds. It was pleasantly spicey, not hot at all. (Although, I did enjoy it for several hours later.). We ate our fill and had enough for us to split and take home for lunch the next day! I may just have to get my hubby to give it a try! A friend and I recently came to this Indian restaurant after fairly good reviews from other friends. What we found left a lot to be desired. Service was slow from walk-in to walk-out. The prices seemed average until you got the food. The portion size was incredibly small considering the price. I had a chicken curry with the equivalent of a single chicken breast for over 10bucks. Both i and my colleague ordered naan. Each order of naan consisted of a single slice of naan cut into quarters for the price of what at other restaurants would consist of several whole slices of naan. The price was ridiculous. This is a point i made very clear on our way out that while the quality was good there was absolutely no excuse for skimping in the way they did. There was a little self-justification amongst ourselves as a solo dining Indian guest across from us insisted his meal was not properly cooked according to traditional preparation. Both of us laughed a little about that. We will not be returning. read more

Best Indian food I have ever eaten. I have eaten here many times over the last year. Be warned - the service is not spectacular. They are not slow, but certainly the servers do not have formal dining etiquette. It is a shame, because the food is 5 stars! Everything I have eaten here is incredible. Some highlights: Masala Naan, Chicken Makhani (butter chicken), Baingan Bharta, Vegetable Pakora, Lamb Curry. Sunday buffet has many dishes! I have noticed the food is just slightly degraded in quality of taste, but I stress slightly. Dinner quality is 5 stars. The buffet would be 4.5 stars. Buffet for 2 people costs around $23. Had dinner here 17th evening. Ordered a chicken Jalfrezi (Desi hot). The meal was fine you could eat it and then spice was right. What was missing was the Jalfrezi part. The onion and peppers should be visible. A good Jalfrezi can be found at India Palace in Dallas by the galleria. I ask you to relook at the texture within your Jalfrezi and compare to any image online. So come on make an outstanding Jalfrezi for Jalfrezi lovers everywhere. Will visit again. Probably my favorite indian restaurant in the NE Ohio area. The dishes were above average for the most part, and have always had takeout. My go-to dish (rogan josh) was one of the better ones I've had, probably the best in this area. Not amazing (no five stars), but again very good for this area given the other options (still above average compared to others I've had in other parts of the U.S.). If you are new to indian food, follow this rule of thumb for spiciness: always use one level lower than you think you are capable of. I heard this works for my bland brothers, though I found the food here myself to be a little spicier than other indian restaurants. Also, if you are lost when it comes to indian food names, try the lunch buffet and take notes on the ones you like. read more
