    Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan
    Patrick Z.

I'm about to start getting emotional writing this review because Ive been coming to Bombay Sweets for ages and it really has stayed the best Indian food I have ever had in my entire life like ever since I moved out of Houston it has been a constant struggle trying to find ANYTHING that compares and I only get to have Bombay Sweets once a year or less now. I'm not even kidding you Ive tried sooooo many other places in Houston, NYC, various other cities, and even most recently a trip to INDIA itself and NOTHING came close. I'm dead serious. I have to talk about the two stars of the show that drive my passion for Bombay Sweets: the Saag Paneer and the Garlic Naan. Starting with the Saag, this quite literally tastes like a dish produced on another planet. It is unbelievable and it shocks me every single time I come here and eat it. The flavor is unmatched, it is so deeply layered and you can really taste the spinach alongside the spices and chili, but there is just something extra in here that I cannot explain that pushes this into otherworldly territory. The paneer just completely melts in your mouth and I literally cannot leave the restaurant without ordering 2 days worth of it to-go. There is not a single place that has even come close to the level of flavor provided here and the fact that it has stayed consistent for so long is just really impressive. Now the Naan here is also the best I have ever had, I mean do I need to even say anything just LOOK AT THE PHOTO. WOW. It's huge, the outer edges are thick and fluffy, the inside is thin and crisp, and the toppings here really set this to the next level. I would say that I could come here and just order 4 naans as my meal but there's absolutely no way I'm coming to Bombay Sweets and not ordering the Saag Paneer but yes this Naan is that good. I swear it needs to win some awards or something. The other dishes are good too, this time we also ordered the Paneer Makhani and Baingan Bharta which both were stellar, plus some Pani Puri for the appetizer which was refreshing. Shout out one more time for the Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan because I'm not exaggerating when I say that every other Indian restaurant I go to all I can think about is whether this will be up to par with Bombay Sweets or not.

I've been coming here for years but realized I've never done a review. Was shopping nearby on Harwin and had a craving for something quick and delicious. Customer service was amazing and the food came out quickly.

Amazing variety of sweets! Everything from cham cham to barfi to laddoos. It's very tempting to get them all! Meetha paan was good but tiny for $2.50. Will try the snacks or chaat next time.

I want to try this green Bombay Halwa. Instead, she gave me the red one.

This review at Bombay Sweet is based on my recent experience when I ordered sweet's takeout. It didn't start well with parking situation. Then, the person helped me gave me wrong item. The employees behind the counter didn't seem to be bothered. Maybe because I don't look like their kind. Very unwelcoming. Comparing this restaurant with Raja Sweets, Bombay Sweets has more desserts and standard priced deli food. All items were labeled clearly. However, employee who helped me kept asking what I wanted. I said the name out aloud and pointing with my finger, she gave me wrong item anyway. Flavors were good and tasted fresh. Unfortunately, I couldn't get what I wanted. I don't think I want to come back to try it again. So, no. Not coming back.

Great portion sizes and very flavorful. It's a great spot for vegetarian Indian food and all the desserts you can imagine. We love the samosa chaat and the dosas here. There is ample parking and the service is very quick.

I never liked this place because of the quality of the food they used to provide in the past. I returned to this restaurant after 5 years just to give it a chance. We decided to purchase Khoya from this place to make desserts at home. We specifically mentioned that we want khoya without any added sugar. I bought the khoya from them and later realized that its sweet. And it was not just sweet but sweet to a point where you can feel that its khoya in sugar. It was a cheap khoya with lots of sugar added. Total trash. I was right to hate this place and i am not going back especially when there are better stores around.

Also the yuzu is amazing, so flavorful and delicious. Tried fried enoki mushroom for the very first time and I m in love with it. I can easily finish it by myself. I came by right before the dinner rush so I was immediately seated at the bar and greeted by the iconic "Irasshaimase!" (welcome in Japanese) by every wait staff so that was fun! The wait staff were very attentive and proactive so ordering the food and getting it took maybe less than 10 minutes. Onto the food: I originally came in because the website mentioned tsukemen and maybe that's my fault for not checking again on yelp itself (whoopsies!) but of course, they did not have it BUT they still had very solid options for ramen. I chose the signature because I wanted to see what Mensho was known for since my family has tried it when they first opened and enjoyed it. The noodles themselves were phenomenal and just the right amount of bounciness and chew. The chicken broth was so rich and creamy, you could pretty much classify it as tonkotsu because of how fatty and buttery it tasted. There was a trio of meats that were delicious but the only one that stood out to me the most was the chicken chashu because it was juicy and flavorful. The eggs, pretty solid and it came with two halves so essentially a whole egg which is my favorite part about eating ramen. The ambiance: it's trendy and aesthetically pleasing! However, it's gonna be busy and loud so if you're expecting a quiet, low-key joint, I would recommend coming in the morning when they open instead of around dinner time. The decor was gorgeous and the music was at a moderate volume. Final rating: I would come again and definitely bring some friends to join in because there's a lot of unique options and unfortunately, I can only eat for one so maybe next time, I'll try their Duck Matcha ramen.

Don't get this. Interesting concept to put matcha in, but I'm not a fan. No longer on menu as of April 2027

The salt and pepper crispy tofu is a standout with bold flavor and a satisfying crunch. The lemongrass tofu is well-seasoned and solid, and the mushroom-based chicken nuggets are honestly one of my favorite appetizers on the entire menu. The fried pancake rounds out the appetizer options nicely as well. On the rice dishes, there's plenty to love. My wife loves the shaking tofu fried rice and orders it every time we visit. The combo fried rice and shaking beef fried rice are both great choices, and the special pot rice is a comforting, satisfying option. The hardest part of dining here is choosing a favorite entrée. The grilled fish platter -- crafted from tofu and seaweed -- is a masterpiece. But it's in fierce competition with the fried chicken rice, made from mushrooms and exceptionally delicious in both flavor and texture. I genuinely can't pick just one. Whether you're a longtime vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food, Tuệ Tâm is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

For some reason, they have 1 item (egg roll) that is not vegan. 2. Service is full service style without full service quality. Would be a better setup if we could order at the counter and sit down because that's pretty much the level of service we received anyway, so just keep that in mind going into it. 3. It was pricier than expected. We spent $50 on the items shown here. I wouldn't say I was pleased with what we spent vs what we received. Overall, the food was a mixed bag.. the soup didn't have a ton of flavor despite it being one of their most popular dishes. The 'snails' were really interesting and I enjoyed them. For $20 I wouldn't get them again but they were fun to try. The steak dish was definitely the highlight. It was so good that my non vegan boyfriend bet me $1 it was real steak. It wasn't. Overall, I think it's worth a try but it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe to pick up the steak dish. Beside that, Trendy Vegan offers really good Asian cuisine at a more reasonable price point.
