    Sunrise Sandwich
    Trisha C.

I came here on the weekend, and it was really delicious. The pastry selection was not extensive, but everything looked really good. I had a tough time making a decision, and I ended up choosing a hot dog jalapeno cheese pastry and an egg and ham pastry. We also got the sunrise sandwich and a matcha strawberry drink. Everything was fairly priced. Plenty of indoor seating. I think the filling of the pastry, and the pastry itself, were really delicious. The matcha drink could use a bit more matcha, but that was more of a personal preference. The sunrise sandwich was absolutely lovely and had very good-quality ingredients. I love the hand decor and small notes they have throughout the bakery shop. I think compared to other bakeries, I like the flavors here more. Plenty of street parking. The staff was nice. I will absolutely come here again to eat most of the stuff again, but also to try other things. Cannot wait to also try their cake! The cake can also be made to order the day before. They cannot write anything on the cake, but if it's a birthday cake, they have a happy birthday stick to provide.

Small corner cafe with a small menu of good food. They have containers/ things that have sweet and savory pastries. Lots of different cookies and the breakfast options are very good, they use a garlic sauce on most sandwiches and bagels. Small sitting area with tables mostly for 1-2 people. Staff are helpful and friendly, one draws little things on cold drink cups.

Online ordering a cake is a breeze. They only need it ordered a day in advance, which is less time than many bakeries. The cake itself was a good as it looks. I've also had the chocolate version, which was very mildly chocolate flavored. I prefer the vanilla version.

Stopped in here for a post dinner sweet treat! The spot is really cute and we walked away with some cakes and macarons. The two cakes we had were light, airy, and not too sweet! We'll definitely be back to sample more baked goods

Staff so sweet and kind. We came to get cake for my friend's son for his birthday. Cozy spot to come and chill out w a catch up. The desserts were delicious.. the not too sweet kind! Matcha was strong and delicious. Next time, I would ask for my matcha to be sifted a bit more as there were small chunks of powder in my matcha. Overall, would come back :)

Came here with a friend the other day and the workers there are so nice. They gave us a free cake of our choice. We choose the mango cake as the free cake. We purchased a tiramisu to share and we both got an iced latte. My friend got the cereal cream latte and I got the orange cream latte. They were good and I thought the cakes were delicious they are creamy, soft, and have a not too sweet taste. I also got to buy some pastries to take home. I like them, it's nice to have a new Korean style bakery in the area. For reviews that are saying it's similar to tours Les jours, I believe you mean to say Korean style! Come support a small business. The place is also spacious with lots of seating and a bathroom inside!

So happy this opened up in my neighborhood! Been there two times since they have opened and had a great experience every time. They have a variety of pastries and desserts as well as a yummy drink menu. My favorite so far has been the cereal milk latte and white chocolate matcha, yum! The service is always 10/10 and the inside is cute, warm and inviting!

I have been wanting to stop in but its never the right timing. Well, today was the day I was in the area after a meeting and decided to grab a few tasty treats. There was a parking spot right in front so I knew it was meant to be! This place reminded me of another bakery spot where you grab the tongs, your tray or to go container and grab your warm savory items, breakfast sandwiches or sweet treats. The also have slices of cake in the cold case that they will grab for you. Order your coffee / tea at the counter where you pay.

Stumbled upon this cute cafe as I was actually walking to a different one. The ambiance was modern and clean. Inside there's a small case of fresh baked goods where you grab a tray and tongs and help yourself. At the counter was a kind staff who made the most delicious lavender matcha latte. They have free wifi so I bought a pastry and drink and worked for a few hours. The pastry was bacon and eggs and such a flaky pastry when they warmed it up, it melted in my mouth. Parking is not great in this area but I hope their proximity with Beaverton high school they get foot traffic! Definitely worth the stop!

I ordered chocolate cake for my son birthday, the cake is very light, smooth and delicious. Not too sweet as well. Everyone asked where I got it from. The price is reasonable too. We love small businesses and family owned.

Bon Creme Cake & Coffee is such a wonderful addition to the community. The space feels clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff couldn't be kinder--they make you feel genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in. The coffee is fantastic, and the cream orange latte is truly something special. Their cakes and pastries are outstanding as well; we especially loved the tiramisu cake and the mango chiffon slice. Yes, it may remind you of a couple of the larger, corporate bakery chains in town, but the difference in quality, flavor, and value here is unmistakable. And honestly, it feels good to support a local business where your dollars stay in the community and help a real family thrive, rather than disappearing into a distant corporation. If you haven't been yet, give it a try. It's absolutely worth it.

This is a charming little spot that I happened to notice when the missus and I were walking in the neighborhood. I actually intended to stop by Breakside, but the cart I wanted to go wasn't open. We turned around and this place is directly across the street. It's super tiny and seating is limited. It'll be awesome when the weather warms up a bit, and then you can duck in real quick and then be on your way. But hey, if you can find a seat, then more power to ya. My wife ordered a matcha latte and they had some orange drink. Not exactly a Valencia that you could get at thebold J&P's, but it was tasty and refreshing. The matcha latte needed to be shaken or stirred. The drinks were beautifully layered however, it's but just that all the flavor was floating at the top of the cup. The staff is very welcoming and our drinks arrived fairly quickly. We'll definitely stop by again the next time we're nearby.

Coffee and cake for Valentines day.

There was ample seating to suit every mood (table and chairs, comfy chairs, and comfy sofas with plenty of outlets and side tables). There's a fun and fresh local artist goods shop tucked in the front corner. It's a perfect place to find a gift for yourself or others. The menu is a nerdy dream come true. When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. I've tried both the ube coconut latte and the black sesame latte, each made with plant-based milk instead of regular milk. The ube coconut latte was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The black sesame latte, however, was the standout for me. It had a rich, nutty flavor and is hands-down my favorite of the two. I don't believe it's a regular menu item, so if you happen to see it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Loro is on the pricier side, which is why I don't visit as often as I'd like, but I genuinely think it's worth it. The quality of the food and drinks makes it feel like a special treat. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the parking. The café is tucked between apartments and other retail spaces, so street parking is your only option.
