We had a group of 4 adults & 2 kids. My family shared a medium soy garlic strips, soy garlic potstickers, and bulgolgi sliders. It all tasted delicious, I just sort of wished there was a little more soy garlic sauce. The bulgolgi sliders are probably my new favorite. I wanted to love this place, I didn't!. The Host was awesome and attentive but the place was freezing, the AC was so cold it was hard to enjoy the meal! My husband and I ordered the 8 piece chicken strips 1/2 and 1/2, the spicy is so hot it ruins your palate, so disappointed, but the garlic was good, but not a lot of flavor. The popcorn shrimp was yummy and so was the sauce and the seasoned zucchini fries were awesome too! However, overall, for what you get too pricey, the meal does not connect, everything is a la carte. I'm a huge fan of the food here. You can't go wrong with any of it. The reason for my poor rating is due to customer service. The front end's lack of eye contact and customer interaction is always subpar at best. I've placed multiple orders here and have always been met with the same annoyed, uninterested attitude. I placed an order an hour in advance only to be met with "uh, it's not ready" and zero eye contact. When it was finally ready, the fries were cold and half the portion they usually are. Completely unacceptable. Another guest expressed their frustration over the wait as well when I was picking up. The attendant that was approached got so visibly annoyed, she walked away from the customer and let the manager deal with it. Again, completely unacceptable behavior. I have been eyeing a menu item for a while, and this time I saw red and grabbed it by the horns. No bull, this dish ran me down and has me screaming for more! Pun-ny jokes aside, the Bull Dak was really good. I've had tteokbokki many times, but never with spicy chicken. The sauce was super tasty, I have to say. I was happy this dish was served with rice, because RICE is *in my best Borat impersonation*, "very nice"! Especially when it's soaked in that red, savory goodness. The kimchee here is pretty good too, if not top three I've had in a restaurant in the metro (because it's just salty enough). Made me want to slap my umami. Alright, I'm just gonna head out. I had Bon Chon on a recent trip to NC. Loved it! So did some research and found the closest location. Awesome-Aurora. Drove 25 minutes. Ordered the Bulgogi taco lunch special, soda and side of Kimchi slaw for my husband to try. I did not get a free side with my meal and was never offered. It worked out to $6.50 per taco which is NOT a lunch deal. $3.95 for the very small side of slaw. $3.95 for a fountain soda! Too overpriced for the quality/quantity you get. read more

Had to wait for more than an hour for our meal to pick up. They told us they were out of drumsticks after waiting for +45mins and it will take a while. Since the order hasn't been started, we canceled our order and asked for a refund. They gave us manager's number since they have no refund policy. I had to call him to explain and he said he could refund. After the server talked to the manager on the phone, the server hung up the call and said they can't refund UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Tried to call him back and found he blocked my number. Such a horrible business practice and felt sorry for the young servers caught in the middle. A SHAMEFUL REPRESENTATION of a good franchise! Manager, thanks for the reply. Yes, we did get the credit but we didn't want the food. We left without the food because we thought we will be able to hold of you to get a refund. Korean fried chicken. That should be all the needs to be said, but Bonchon definitely does it well. My friend and I went a while ago and we ended up splitting one of their family meals. For our sides, we got coleslaw, fries, and their fried rice. We also got to split 2 flavors of wings. Fries: very standard fries, nothing exceptional. Coleslaw: pretty good, definitely one of the better coleslaws I've had before. Fried rice: by far the best side. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, and I would definitely order it as a standalone dish. Korean fried chicken: forget Kentucky fried chicken, KFC should stand for Korean fried chicken because it's superior in every way and tastes amazing. Bonchon's was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. What really set them apart were their sauces though. My friend and I love spicy food, and Bonchon did not disappoint. They nail the balance of sweet, spicy, and salty perfectly, and I definitely recommend getting at least 2 sauces to try. read more

Decided last minute to try Bonchon for takeout and it was great! It's solid KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and my dad even mentioned that it reminded him of chicken he'd get in Korea. I got the spicy sauce instead and it was not good. The spice they used was definitely artificial and had little to no flavor. Typically, I would want there to be more sauce but, thankfully, they didn't put much on, which made the chicken dish dry. Not going to lie the snob in me when my husband wanted to go here was like...NO! My mind was set in Chipotle due to a heavy health focus and when he said Korean fried chicken that didn't meet my criteria. Wait...did I saying coughing with joy?? Yep because a good spicy makes you cough but go back for more because it's damn good. Wrong order came out. Only ordered 10 wings and a water got 20 wings rice and something else. Was charged $30+ for 10 wings. Both servers seemed really confused as if they weren't writing orders down and ringing them in. There were a few table who ordered before me walk out once I got my food before them. Will be back in a few months when maybe things get better. For now I'll stick with Vons in Aurora. read more
