Recently stopped in on a Saturday - due to the restrictions, this was the only spot in Northfield that had seating. We are so glad the other places turned us away! We ordered 2 beers, a pitcher of their Soju cocktail (which was different, but amazing), and 18 wings. The wings were so crispy and delicious - both the soy garlic and spicy had amazing flavor. My only complaint was how expensive this all was - it was a little over $70. The food and drinks were great, though - and it was a beautiful night to sit on their patio. Plus they have Soju! Average. Ordered fried chicken (half and half) the crust was just ok not like your typical Korean fried chicken. The soy garlic one it's delicious though not salty or bland. It was perfect. The spicy one is not that amazing. Ordered the kimchi fried rice and again NOT your typical traditional Kimchi fried rice. The flavor of shrimp was sooo strong and had red peppers? Had scrambled egg in it. I didn't like it. But if you are in to non traditional kimchi fried rice that taste like some other culture made it, this is for you. I had a good experience at Bonchon Chicken. The wings were perfectly crispy yet tender and the flavors were all excellent. The wing prices are fairly high, so expect to pay more than you would regular wings. We got half wings/half drumsticks for both the hot and soy garlic. I wouldn't go here for the other Korean stuff, personally. If you want bulgogi, go to an authentic Korean restaurant. If you want some Asian fusion wings, though, Bonchon is a solid choice. read more

My family and I had a really good time here! The food and the atmosphere were pretty lit. It was a little busy because we came during dinner time but the service was super quick so it wasn't long before we got seats. We ordered the spicy chicken tacos, medium chicken wing combo -half spicy half soy garlic, dull dak, and the potstickers. We shared the food family style so I got a bite of everything. The best thing I had were the chicken wings! Both the flavors were awesome! The chicken was really crispy and flavorful. The thing that was the hardest to eat was the dull dak. Whenever we order bull dak anywhere, waiters always say that it's going to be spicy but it always ends up not being that spicy so BELIEVE ME when I say that the bull dak was supppaaa fire spicy haha. This place gets busy for work lunches! A few friends and I were there with our kids, glad we'd come in early. The fried chicken usually takes 30 minutes to cook according to the menu but because it was quite she said it'll be quicker. There was 7 of us in total and the table was crammed into the corner with a few booster seats. I wasn't quite skinny enough for my spot that was up against the wall but I made it work. In general it's a lot of tables crammed into just enough space to walk through. I got a half and half order of chicken strips. Half spicy and half honey soy. I got a side of fries and onion rings. Both sides were quite nice and fried well. The spicy chicken was fairly spicy for someone who doesn't eat as much spice anymore, now that I have to share my meal with an infant. But it wasn't a nice Asian sort of spice for me, it tasted a bit more like buffalo sauce and nothing to cool it down with. In fact, we didn't even get knives to eat it with, just a for and a spoon...? And we didn't bother asking for a knife, we needed to get food into the kids so we just made do. This might seem a bit of an over exaggeration, but Bonchon is kinda life-changing. I keep watching YouTube clips over this Korean Fried Chicken, and i just had to go try it out. I had a sort of enlightenment of what wings could be. Spiritual, perhaps? Idk but I have some sort of fulfillment in my life at this point on. Service was a bit "meh" due to being 1st timers, but those first impressions were thrown out the window when had my first bite of the spicy chicken wing. The texture of the skin was otherworldly. A divine experience. The spicy flavor was just right and the soy garlic flavor was outstanding too. My friend even got the pork buns, and they were delicious as well. I look forward to trying the other menu items on my next visit(s)! It was a bit pricey, but so is Wingstop. Who am I to complain? Bonchon will be on my rotation from here on out. Their Korean fried chicken is truly delicious. I like their sweet and spicy specifically, buy it's all good. Got the fixin's like picked radish and slaw, and I prefer the radish. I don't think their takoyaki is very good honestly it is too sweet. Their udon soup is delicious. I do not recommendations their pork belly bao, as the buns tasted somewhat premade and not very fluffy. Overall this is a good spot for fried chicken. I think I created a group of Bonchon fans when I stopped in with my parents. On the way to the airport, they couldn't stop talking about how good it was! Bonchon is located near the movie theater in the Stapleton development, a growing suburban haven in NE Denver. Compared to a few of the other chains, this was was pretty busy when we came in. We came in during happy hour which was just our luck. Beers are a little discounted as well as a handful or so of food options. There's a good selection of food so whether you're in the mood for wings or bibimbap, they've got you covered. My mom is a fairly picky eater and thoroughly enjoyed the fried rice as well as the wings. As others have mentioned, it's a tight space. Sure, there are tables and chairs, but large groups beware! There was a couple with a baby in a stroller when we stopped by. Poor lady had to ask someone to get up & move their table just to leave. It looks like they also have nice patio for those amazing Denver summers. Hopefully they'll get an opportunity to move into a larger space if one becomes available in Stapleton. Just gonna leave this here...Sometimes you have to check yourself - you're in Denver! Korean food isn't going to be the same as LA or San Diego but it's pretty good, for Denver. read more

I was a little bit disappointed with our visit to Bonchon. I loved going to the Bonchon in NYC during my college years as the chicken was so good and the yogurt soju created some really fun nights. This Bonchon was a bit different in that there was more selection to food, but i also feel like for a korean chicken place, you don't need too much variety - just have really good chicken. i think the competition for korean fried chicken is getting fiercer, so I wasn't toooo impressed with bonchon chicken like i was back in my college years. We ordered some fries on the side, which were really good! But like other reviews have noted, the space is small, you feel like you need to eat and leave ASAP, and it doesn't really have the "hang out" vibe that the NYC location has. read more

Bonchon is pretty cool. I ordered online through their website and it couldn't have been easier. I am quite happy with that. I ordered the Katsu Chicken and a side of kimchi. Omg! The chicken was moist and the proper crunch to the breading. I liked it a lot. The kimchi is spectacular. It has such a good spice to it and the beet was just right for my preference. I am very happy I chose to come here. The only thing I want to bring to your attention is the site prompted me to specify is I needed utensils. I requested chopsticks and when I got back to my hotel, no utensils or chopsticks were included. So, I should have checked when I picked up my order. We ordered 16 chicken wings set on Halloween for a gathering but they gave us chicken strips by mistake. No one liked strips unfortunately so we called Bonchon about it. As they closed early on that day, so we were not able to get the wings in that evening. They offered us to get the wings by leaving our name. Then we can get them another day. It was bad not having the wings on the Halloween but they were nice to offer us a compensation. Our kids love their wings btw ! read more

The impossible happened when we came here; they ran out of chicken. Yes, a fried chicken place ran out of chicken. My coworkers and I only get an hour for lunch and coming from Buckley that hour isn't really flexible. We spent no kidding 40 minutes waiting for the food and to come back to our boss fuming we took so long for lunch. To add insult to injury, the chicken was short the amount I ordered and the portions were SMALLER. Bonchon is delicious and I love going here, but this was an awful experience. The first time I tried BinChin Chicken was at the Arapaho location and loved it. I wanted my family to try and decided to go this one since it was closer to our home. Unfortunately the service wasn't as great. We had to ask for plates and silverware. When we received them, they were filthy with food stuck on the plates and forks. VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! We called in and wanted to order ahead for dining in. They said that they can't do that, so I ordered online for togo. When I get there I told them that I would like to change to dine in, they said the food is ready to go but you still can eat here. So we still decided to eat there and then we ordered two drinks and some plates and forks. The waitress brought drinks but no plates and forks. Nobody seemed want to serve us! So we asked the waitress to come and ask for some plates and forks AGAIN. The waitress came like 10 minutes later with three plates and forks (but we have four people) so I asked for one more plate and fork, some ketchup, and two cups of water. THEY NEVER CAME!!!!! My daughters were thirsty and the 4th year old was going to run to the car by herself because she wants water. And the table next to us asked for water like 5 minutes later than us, they got water right away. So I guess the waitress was afraid of that we are not going to tip them. But too bad, I was going to tip generously before I got all the bad service. when I went to complained about the whole situation, one guy is new there, he probably can't do anything about it, and the other guy looked at me, I said I told you that I would like to change to dine in but nobody served us, and he said "oh I forgot."
