She contacted me very soon after, kept in touch, and we set a date for an appointment. I went in today and not only was she thorough, sweet, and extremely detail oriented BUT the salon was so organized and clean! I made an appointment for two pedicures with any available tech yesterday in advance. Came in today for my scheduled appointment five minutes early they sat me and my mother. Place was very clean I was very excited to get my nails done and 25 minutes later no service had my feet soaking for almost half an hour. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I've been going to BB since Ryan started and he was the only reason I continued to go. Let me say that the receptionists are super friendly. But the customer service they have been taught sucks. I had an appointment with mom for a pedicure at 12 and a gel fill with Ryan at 130pm. Little did I know mom was double booked for 12 and still stuck on the appointments before 12pm. No one told me this. No one offered another technician. So I had to wait till after my nails were done to do my pedicure & even when I was done I still had to wait another hour for someone to do my toes. When I spoke to the owner, they did not offer a refund bc it's the technicians time. Ok and what about my time? Your customers time who allows you to stay in business? The owner was so rude and condescending. No one in this facility knows how to do nails except for Ryan. You can't even find a nail technician to do a decent pedicure. I saw an ad for a new salon in Howell and made an appointment. When I arrived it was the same place I went to before and didn't like. They moved two doors down and changed the name from Nails Perfection to Bond Beauty. Same staff, jacked up prices to cover his cost of renovations. Eye Brown wax from $7.00 to $10.00. I had an appointment for pedicure and nails and someone walked in with no appointment. After 1 1/2 hour to do a gel fill they wanted me to wait for my pedicure especially knowing this lady was a walk in. Three days later I had to go to another salon to re-do the nails. The owner witness everything that was happening with my appointment and he just ignored the situation and saw me walking out. Poor customer service and management. read more

I had a 2:30 appointment schedule for about 2 weeks, but when I got there I sat in the chair for 40 minutes with no one available to do my nails. I completely understood the delay due to Covid, however, I was deeply embarrassed when the ladies were arguing over who would do my nail. No one wanted to do the normal manicure and pedicure (not gel), all of this happening in front of me, which was was very unprofessional. I ended up leaving because as people opened up, they kept taking the upcoming appointments and left me sitting there. Very unprofessional. I understand that things happen but you should be nice to your customers and make it right, not neglect a loyal customer who had an appointment. read more

I made an appointment for dip powder which they told me they do. The nail tech was a half hour late for my appointment. I told her the colors I wanted and she said okay. She started my nails and did a layer of base coat in dip. But when she went to do the actual color she started to use gel polish. I reminded her I was there for dip and she said she knew but that they didn't have those colors in dip and they had few colors. I asked why no one thought to tell me that ahead of time as I don't do gel manis and prefer dip only. Since we were already halfway through the manicure and I already had a layer of base dip I let her finish. My total price was also for dip powder but I kept telling the girl she used gel not dip. So why am I being charged a dip price? I ended up paying the total as it was late and I was tired and did it feel like arguing any further. The entire experience felt like I was being taken advantage of and could have been avoided had they been honest from the start. The colors I asked for in dip were OPI funny bunny and bubble bath two of the most popular colors. If they don't carry those colors than you don't offer DIP services nor should you be allowed to advertise as such. It's false advertisement. I will never go there again. read more

Absolutely love this place! Had the such a good pedicure with Kyong. If it wasn't so far for me, I would be there weekly. The staff is very professional, the salon itself has always been clean (love that they use disposable liners), and I really enjoy the fact they let me relax in the massage chairs before the pedicure - but if you're in a rush you should let them know. I've been to almost every salon in jackson and freehold , and bond beauty is by far the BEST salon I've ever been to. The staff gives you such a warm welcome when you enter . Other salons use to butcher my nails and ruin my natural nails completely but bond beauty takes their time and makes it their goal to make sure you have the upmost best experience possible , i usually go to Christine ! She does such an amazing job Everytime ! She's makes me a repeating customer i just can't get enough of how great my nails are after she finishes , by far the best experience I've ever had ! When I tell you I was rushed. Rushed isn't even the word. Ryan says he only makes each appointment 30 minutes and that includes a design even a full set my nails were completely rushed although the shape of the nails turned out fine which is completely surprising I suggested a style I liked with a different color he did it and I didn't like it so I asked him to change it he was apologizing profusely to his next client like it was my fault that I didn't like what he did and he said make sure you know what you like next time - then literally before i even got up to get my stuff and wash my hands he had the other girl come and sit down while my phone and purse were still there-- $70 with a full set and gel and a half ass design I will never travel 45 minutes to go to a nail salon just because Instagram suggested it again. I have been going for pedicures at another place but tried bond beauty this time instead. Well I will never go back. The receptionist took my temp and asked me to wash my hands, being new here had no idea where to do that so I walked to the back on my own. After I washed my hand the receptionist told me to sit at the pedicure station that has running water. So I saw where she wanted me to go and went and sat. Water running , running, running, took my feet out to try and find shut off but wasn't successful so water is know all over the floor still running. Receptionist ran over and oh my I forgot. Well shoes were wet,purse was wet, etc.... Finally started my pedicure which was 15 minutes. Was not done properly at all it was "okay let see type attitude from the girl doing my feet. She filed my nails, and scrubbed my foot. Then put lotion on and then painted toe nails. All in 15 minutes!! Never going back! read more

Brand new, beautiful and modern salon. So many pedi chairs and manicure tables. I've been seeing Ryan and I've been more than satisfied. My dip manicure lasted 4 weeks and would have probably lasted even longer, I just needed a fill due to regrowth. Even better than the salon experience, I was so grateful to management when I accidentally forgot my debit card there. It took me over a week to retrack my steps and figure out where I left it (embarrassing I know). My card was never left in the wrong hands and I am so grateful! Bond Beauty is a Beautiful "New" Salon! Familiar faces and Good Nail Work ~ Ryan was my nail tech - He did an excellent job with my acrylic fill and did a hand painted design along with a touch of bling - Loved it! Pedicure offers nice massage chairs along with disposable liners in the foot bath - a must! My toe tech was Linda, while she did the job, it was nothing to rave about. Started my toes without any soaking, No nice deep massage on my legs but just a quick rub, I do like to get a paraffin heel but it was not included. I did not care for how she removed the liner mid-service (I feel this is something that should be done when I leave.) The salon has a book to choose colors of gel which is very convenient along with other creative choices for nails - not just plain nails here! Comfy waiting area with coffee pods, a bowl of candy, pretty decor and looked very clean. Price was $$$ - $68 for both services. I had to leave & grab cash @ the bank as the ATM on site does not post the fee. Tips must be cash which is good for the salon, but inconvenient for the customer. A resident of our group home went on her first post-covid one-to-one outing today and she chose Bond Nails for her exciting event. The technician did not speak to her at all-only to the staff person accompanying her, even when the staff person encouraged the technician to do so. The female technician repeatedly slapped the hand of this lady because she was not still enough (she has tremors due to medication) then told her she can only have a gel manicure and not a traditional because she does not sit still. The resident tried multiple times to engage in conversation, however the technician refused to speak to her and only spoke to the staff person. The resident spoke openly about designs on her nails and was never asked or offered any art work. If you are looking for a place to take anyone with I/DD don't even think about walking into this facility. If this is how they treat those with disabilities who pay the same full price for their services, they don't deserve anyone. read more

The salon itself is very nice and the staff were warm and welcoming. I got a gel manicure and pedicure when I was there. The manicure was great and it lasted a full two weeks before lifting or chipping. I'm only giving four stars because the pedicure was average at best. read more

The salon is pretty and clean, so that's the reason for the two stars. The first time I went here the pedicure was great-not rushed and well done. My gel manicure however, was very messy with paint on the skin next to my nails. I asked for it to be fixed but it never really was completely. I also asked her to clean up my cuticles multiple times. But she never did so my hands looked super messy. I went back a second time to give it another try and to another technician that my mom has gone to and really liked. I made an appointment for a pedicure and an SNS manicure. The pedicure was okay but it was definitely rushed. Done in about 15 minutes. I then had to ask three time for the SNS powder that I had made the appointment for and not gel that he kept trying to do. The color went on splotchy so I asked for an extra coat. He applied it but still looked splotchy-paint color was a bright pink and splotches were white. It was not thick either like it has always been at other salons. The technician did not massage or lotion my hands or have me wash the powder off. Not even two days later my SNS chipped on two nails. I called back and they told me to come in at 6 as they would have time to fix them then. I got there to see about 8-10 customers waiting all of which I overheard saying they had appointments as well as a few of which had been waiting for over an hour! About 35 minutes later, the same technician I had gone to took me and fixed both nails and put an extra top coat on all of my nails all at no cost. He also apologized multiple times for it chipping. Unfortunately the same thing happened the very next day to three nails as I was on my way to vacation. I have had SNS done at a few other salons and have never had this happen. It is always very thick and stays on forever. I really wanted to like this place and I don't know if it's the way the SNS is applied or the brand but unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

I've been to this salon once before years ago. It was a different name. I don't recall. So i was looking for a new nail spot and thought i would check this place out not realizing i had been here before upon my arrival. I didn't have a bad experience in the past so i still parked and walked inside. On my way in a male worker was walking out he said hi and held the door open for me. Well It went down hill from there. I literally stood at the front desk for 10 minutes. 10 minutes too long! Waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. I understand you may be busy but nail techs walked past me multiple times. Women that were doing nails were just staring at me. No one said hi. Nothing at all.. crickets... so i walked out. On my way out the male nail tech that held the door for me when i walked in was literally sitting on my car smoking his cigarette!! What in the world makes him think that's ok. So i said can you please get off my car!? And he goes what happened your nail broke? I said no actually my nail ain't broke but apparently you guys don't need any new business since no one acknowledged me. He said come in. Nope i had a bad taste in my mouth at that point i said have a good day. And drove off in my car that now smelled like cigarettes inside.... i don't smoke. So i didn't receive any service from this place so i can't rate on the quality of work but they won't get my business based off the lack of customer service. read more

I had been going to this nail salon for many years before they changed their name from nails to perfection to bond beauty. Unfortunately because of the terrible organization and service, I had to find a new nail place. I couldn't understand the reason for scheduling an appointment when I would always get there and wait 15-20 minutes for my nail person to take me. And then I would sit down, he wouldn't cut my cuticles or really file my nails like they used to and if I didn't ask for some outrageous design that was costing me more money, it was like he did not care to take his time to make them look nice. There were many times I left and the gel underneath the top coat was so tacky my nail color would peel right off. The shape was never how I had asked and I would be in the chair for no more than 25 minutes getting a gel fill with the builder gel which at any other location takes about 40 minutes for a decent gel manicure. There is so much chaos here and any time I called I would either be put on hold for 5+ minutes or hung up on after waiting. The place is very beautiful and they really did a wonderful job after their name change but they really need to work on not over scheduling and really take care of their customers. read more

I've been here a few times- usually if I go here it's only because it's close to where I live. Unfortunately every time I've gotten a gel dip manicure the polish pops of clean within a week! Any other place I've gotten this done it lasts at least 2 weeks with no chipping. This time it started cracking and peeling off not even a day after !!! So much for the $35 spent. Such a waste. Got my first dip powder manicure here and I was unfortunately really disappointed. They did two very light and uneven dips so you could still see my a lot of my natural nail through the manicure. They didn't touch my cuticles at all so my nails looked grown out from the moment the polish dried. The nails were extremely uneven, bumpy, and jagged- as they weren't filed at all after being dipped and coated with clear gel. They didn't have me wash my hands either afterwards so I was covered in dip powder when I left. I ended up getting the polish taken off and redone four days later at another place. read more

I started coming to this nail salon about 5 months ago. I've had pretty bad/unsatisfied experiences at other nail places. My nails never came out the way I want them to and usually it's so overpriced. I decided to try Bond Beauty out. It's very nice and clean inside. Everyone is very friendly. I usually don't make an appointment and I just walk in. I've never had to wait super long. Usually its a 10 -20 minutes wait for me which is not bad since the salon does get packed and I don't have an appointment. I've had my nails done by several technicians. I tell them what I want, show them a picture of what I want and I am always satisfied with the results. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails from people i know/ don't know and I always recommend bond beauty. Not only am I satisfied with my nails, but the price to pay for them is affordable and reasonable! Most of the time I ask for extras. ( glitters, designs, crystals ) and it comes out to a reasonable price which is rare for me because I've had other places charge me $80+ just for simple basic designs which I find ridiculous. My mom and my grandma started coming here to get their nails done too and they absolutely love it read more

I was coming here for a little over a year. I was seen by a few different nail techs but ended up with Ryan.....and yes he does really great work. However, and this was the reason for my one star, he colored my nails and I said I didn't like the color. he continued to paint my nails although I said I didn't like the color. I expressed my feelings to the receptionist and she was able to get someone to repaint them a different color. When Ryan found out he became a 5 year old child. He told me he would not do my nails anymore even though I said it was just a polish change. He refused to let me make anymore appointments with him. Went back one more time and will never go back. I called to make my appointment for the second time and the receptionist was so nasty on the phone. She sounded as if I was inconveniencing her to make an appointment. Rude is to say the least. The newly renovated salon owned by a family that really takes pride in what they do. I get regular manicures and pedicures every 3 weeks and they last. I went in with my boyfriend and friend, me and my boyfriend wanted pedicures and my friend wanted a manicure. When we walked in we were not warned of any type of wait for anything and me and my boyfriend were told to sit in the pedicure seats right away. This was at about 4 pm ,15 minutes later they fill the water in the pedicure chairs, another 15-20 minutes pass then my boyfriend gets his pedicure started, she took about 15 minutes to do his pedicure when it's supposed to be a 25 minutes so it was rushed. Meanwhile my feet are now prunes from waiting with them in the water for 40 minutes. Then 10 minutes after he's finished the front lady tells me 5 more minutes, 10 minutes pass from then then she tells me another 5 minutes. I waited 10 more minutes and i left. My friend wanting the manicure watched walk ins that came in after her getting manicures finished. I wasted about 90 minutes and my friend wasted 120 minutes waiting and not getting anything. We would have actually left and came back had we been warned at all. Inconsiderate and a waste of my boyfriends money. read more

I went for a pedicure today at bond beauty , and keep In mind I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know my stuff . The place is really nice so I assumed I would get a nice clean pedicure since I'm very nervous about cleanliness and sanitation . I had gel on that needed to be removed so I told the women giving me my pedicure , and she took out her cuticle cutter and started to just pull off the gel . Pulling gel off damages the nail I literally saw the top layer of my nail tearing off along with the polish . And as she's pulling at the big toe she literally pulled off part of my toenail down the center it was so painful , she immediately stopped and got the efile and took the rest off . I believe she didn't wanna spend time taking it off correctly so she tried the easy way out and damaged my nail . Then she went ahead with the pedicure using the same nail file and buffer as used on everyone else which didn't look like it was sanitized , the rest of the tools were clean . I got home and looked at my toes closely and she literally did the messiest job , I have gel all over my cuticle area on the skin , which means it's all gonna be peeling off and lifting within the next few days . She did give me a $5 discount cuz she damaged my nail (which I didn't ask for ) and I really did appreciate that . But I was super disappointed I got a pedicure that will not last and a painful experience . All the nail techs should be properly educated on each service etc there's no excuse for laziness , I will not be coming back . read more

I am giving this nail salon 2 stars for their cleanliness and the talent of some of the workers. Besides that, the first time I came here from hearing so many rave reviews. I walked in and asked for a pedicure/acrylic set. Waited a very long time which is fine I know how busy the salons get, but when I sat down to get my nails done I was coerced into getting many nail add ins so my ticket would be more and to get gel nails instead of acrylic because it's 'stronger' and will 'last longer' though beautifully done, I was rushed (full set done in 20 minutes) and within 2 days 2-3 nails had already popped clean off which NEVER happens with acrylics. My second time coming in today, I called and said I need an acrylic set/pedicure for me, a ped/gel mani for my mom, and an acrylic set for my sister they said ok appt time is 10:15, showed up at 10:10 and none of us were seen til 11:30 or so. My sister went to the same man who did me the first time and WITHOUT ASKING gave her a gel set which is much more expensive then acrylic and NOT what I made the appointment for. He also gave her sparkles on the nails to increase the ticket price. My mom ended up going with a manicure which was awful. They didn't use soapy water, didn't massage the hands, NOTHING. Just painted her nails all messed up for $10 which she could have done for free at home. Ken my nail tech did a good job on my acrylics and he is talented but I got extra long acrylic nails with gel polish and they were $45 which is fine. But I was charged $45 for my sisters nails which is absolutely absurd because she got short nails and was given the much more expensive gels without being asked. I complained and they didn't do ANYTHING about the bill which for customer service is insane. I will not be returning simply because I don't appreciate being rushed after waiting an hour to be seen, and coerced into paying for things I didn't make the appointment for in the first place especially without asking.
