I've been coming to Bone Deep since before they had their own shop. They always have a line out the door during their friday the 13th specials. All of my jewelry is from them because the quality is unbeatable. Jasmine, Annie, and Ashley have all peirced me and done an excellent job. Their sterility is fantastic and I usually return for any healing issues. I have hardly ever had a problem with healing and even when I do I come back to them and they help me with great advice or adjustments. Their jewelry is expensive but honestly worth it and sooo cute! Plus, it will last so much longer and doesn't tarnish or degrade like other ones I've bought in the past. I have had a lot of piercings over years, but my ears are my number one to curate. I love how jewelry changes and it's so easy to get a newer look. I especially love the talent and creativity of piercers/curators, such as mine...Ashley McElvy! I've followed her for years on Instagram and finally reached out to her when I saw she had a relationship with one of my favorite jewelry makers; Ember Body Jewelry. I wanted specific daith jewelry and I didn't care how long it took to get it, but I needed it! She immediately responded and said she could get it right away! Yay! About a week later, she reached out to let me know they had arrived! Screaming inside like a little kid at an amusement park, I promptly adjusted my schedule and planned my little day trip to Camarillo, since I live 2 1/2 hours away. We had planned an entire left ear curation and I gave her full creative freedom to come up with something epic! When I arrived, I was star struck!! I was so happy to finally meet Ashley in person! Besides being super sweet, she has an incredibly infectious and jubilant personality and she was tall! She showed me what she had come up with and both of us quietly screamed in excitement! I was happy to concentrate on curating my left ear, but we also changed the daith jewelry in my right ear. I ultimately decided to come every 6-8 weeks for downsizing new piercings, as well as adding more piercings and jewelry, so I'm not healing too many at one time. Let me say, this shop is lit!! It's gotta be one of the busiest piercing shops I've ever stepped foot in! They take walk-ins, but let me tell you; appointments are better, especially on weekends! You can make an appointment by calling the shop, messaging your piercer on social media, or making it online. The shop is super clean and they could even turn that nice bathroom into an after hours club, with that disco ball! Jewelry can be pricey, depending on which pieces you choose, but rest assured you're getting quality jewelry that eliminates allergic reactions and doesn't impede on medical procedures. I've literally had multiple surgeries (with my last being 2 months ago), MRIs, and CT scans and my piercings have stayed put and have never been a problem. Yes, sometimes you get that overzealous new grad (eye roll) who tells you they need to come out, but I make it crystal clear that my piercings are implant grade and they are not and cannot be removed, periodttt! I purposely seek out this type of metal, because I've had so many medical procedures. Of course, they finally leave me alone, I have my procedure, and I'm fine. Needless to say, I will continue getting piercings! I think my next one will be my septum, so watch out Ashley! I'm coming for more! Many of the piercers are pro team members and APP certified. I have been seeing Jasmine at Bone Deep since 2019, and she is incredible! The atmosphere of the piercing area of the tattoo shop was always clean and friendly, and now in their own space it has elevated into such a unique place to go and spoil yourself! The jewelry is laid out clearly and by brand and metal type (so it makes it easy picking out the gold pieces), and there is always someone up front to help answer any questions. With Jasmine, she helped curate my ear and pick out pieces that would look good. I appreciate her honestly, her cleanliness, and her professionalism! I was greeted promptly when I entered the shop. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to make sure I had enough time to fill out the consent form on an iPad. Brenna was my piercer today for my helix piercing, she came out and greeted me and was very friendly and bubbly, my kind of energy for sure. She showed me all the options to the jewelry I could select for my piercing and there were so many to choose from. I decided on my jewelry and she told me she would come back out to get me after she prepared the room. Once I was in the room she was very thorough answering all my questions and made me feel very comfortable during the process. She literally walked me step by step with the process and even told me how to inhale and exhale with my breathing. The girls in this shop are wonderful. About a year ago Ashley did my piercing and she walked me through it every step of the way. I was really nervous. When it came time to downsize my piercing Jasmine helped me out and she was also super nice. I had explained to them that when I was a teen I got my nose pierced but it was with a gun and it was painful and traumatic. Both girls were super cool, understanding, did not judge me, and they explained that they would ensure my experience was a positive one and they sure did just that! I had a great experience getting pierced by Denise at Bone Deep. She did daith and conch piercings on my ear and they came out amazing. They carry a huge array of jewelry ranging from minimalistic metal pieces to ornate pieces with gold and gemstones. The titanium pieces can be anodized while you wait if you prefer a more fun color. If you have stretched ears, they also have a small selection of plugs. The studio itself feels inviting and sanitary with a comfortable waiting area, private piercing rooms, and clean bathrooms which makes it a pleasant place to get pierced.
