Arrived at 6pm with a reservation. Server told us to wait as he was preparing our table. We waited 15 minutes when the manager came out and told everybody in the lobby to leave as he "needed the lobby cleared." Everyone was complaining and he even used hand signs to make us leave. To top it all off, he gave us nasty looks. We waited another 30 minutes and nobody came to attend us mind you we had a reservation and people without one were being served first. Had dinner at Bonefish tonight and it was very disappointing. We ordered bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and it was pretty good. For dinner we ordered blackened mahi tacos and blackened mahi entree. Both meals were not edible. The fish was rubbery and tasted very bad. You couldn't even cut through the mahi with a butter knife. The restaurant did re-make the mahi entree and it was much better than the original dish they brought out, but it took a very long time for it to come out. We didn't even bother asking them to re make the tacos. Although the waitress was nice the service was overall extremely slow. I also noticed that the suggested gratuity percentages on the receipt are based off of "gross amount" and not the actual total. The Boca Bonefish is considerably smaller than the one in Coral Springs, my usual haunt. But Sunday lunch was almost empty So space didn't matter for this visit. Service was very good ( no other people) and the food was very good. I think my shrimp and scallop skewers needed a little salt but that is so preferable too too much salt! Salads and vegetables were just right. Another diner said his fish and chips were ok, not seasoned enough for his taste. Another said her salad was wonderful. Never again. Tried the new location for the second time tonight. This visit was worse than the first. I ordered the grilled mahi-mahi. It came out so dry and overcooked it was very hard to even swallow. It also had an unpleasant fishy flavor. I tried my sisters butter fish (special of the night) and it was flaky, soft and light, like fish should be. The broccoli side was mushy. The rice side was literally a small ice cream scoop portion. The manager offered to make me a new one but I refused because then everyone would be waiting for me etc. plus I'd be sitting there not eating while everyone else was. I hate that. They did not offer any other compensation. So basically they stuck me with an unedible dish that I did not eat and had to pay for. So here's what Bone Fish has become: tiny portions, frozen bland dry tasting fish and no happy hour apps anymore. Basically now at the level of an Applebees. Too bad I used to love Bone Fish. Unfortunately, we have been very disappointed with the food quality and overall management of this new location. The takeout is horrendous...the so called filet mignon was over cooked (burnt) sirloin, items ordered were either missing or replaced with incorrect items and the entire food order was cold. Matt our waiter was Amazing and Spectacular! He did such an incredible experience here, he was so friendly and enthusiastic about his job and the restaurant. He was very busy and still managed to make the time to come visit our table and make us feel like his top priority. We had the fish tacos and shrimp meal along with the imperial crab dip all of the items were delicious and so very tasty. Will be back here for many more times. The green beans were excellent the mashed potatoes were delicious and the dinner was excellent. The Caesar salad that they have there is one of the best I've ever eaten. I went to Bonefish Grill for Happy Hour. I was quite impressed with the Ice-cold Bud Light and the Crispy Cod Sliders and Hamburger Sliders. I also had a bowl of Corn Chowder with crab. Dinner out for us is special and this night even more so due to a birthday. We were seated, our order taken by Kelsey, all of our food timings were considered and everything arrived perfectly. Kelsey was very attentive and we felt like we were her only table. Food was great, everyone was very happy. I went to this Bonefish Grill for the first time with my boyfriend last weekend. I had a gift card and wanted to use it, so we went here. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Emma was our server and she went above and beyond with everything she did. Whether it was finding a cocktail that suited me, describing all if the appetizer and specials to help me decide what was best for me, she was awesome all around! We had the following: * raspberry lemonade cocktail with titos * Cod sliders appetizer (delicious) * Cod imperial with veggies and rice. It was good, but the imperial topping tasted mayonnaisey which I didn't care for much * Thermidor gnocchi - this was good, but I feel like it can really use something like a fresh herb to tie in all of the flavors. While visiting my mother-in-law last week, we stopped in to Bonefish. What is great about this restaurant - besides the food - is that they offer several deals that allows you to save a few bucks. From emails to every fourth meal discounts to AARP discounts. It's a nice touch that encourages you to come back again. I've been to this Bonefish before and I highly recommend eating in the bar area (assuming it's not wall to wall people) b/c I just find it more warm and inviting. I had one of their specials - Wild Snapper and Shrimp - fresh Snapper with a soft blackening spice, three jumbo seasoned shrimp and finished with a warm chorizo "mojo" sauce, served with mashed potatoes & green beans. I've only had snapper once before and I'm not a huge seafood fan (I don't like fishy foods), but the snapper and mojo sauce were delicious. It has such a nice spice - but definitely not for those who don't like a little kick. My husband had another special - Mahi Mahi Oscar - which he liked. My in-laws both had the Swordfish and unfortunately, they both found their dishes dry. Fortunately for me, that was not the case with the snapper. This location of Bone Fish is not the best. Unless you are over 65 years old. Came her with my sister and a friend, got some bang bang shrimp, alwyas great. We were recommended the hummus ademama, and it was worse thing we had, took one bite and had to drink a whole glass of water to get back to normal. Sister had the Kilts Chicken, and loved it. I ordered the salmon with asparagus salad, just to find out its not in the menu anymore:( made me sad. My friend had the fish tacos- nothing crazy. This review is for brunch, and I have to say I think Bonefish Grill's brunch is very underrated. It is offered on Sundays from 10-2. We decided to head over around noon. I hopped on the website and noticed you could make reservations so I made one, just in case it was busy...I figured brunch in Boca would be busy on a Sunday. When we arrived it became obvious that the reservation was not necessary as we were one of maybe five tables, but I liked that it was so easy to reserve online. We looked over the brunch menu which is broken down into omelets, brunch favorites, and eggs benedicts. They also offer a decent amount of items from their regular menu. Each item on the brunch menu was somewhere around $10, and brunch cocktails were around $6 a glass; however, they also offer an endless brunch option. For $20 you can pick a brunch entree accompanied by endless mimosas, bellinis, and sangria. I reasoned that we pretty much had to do the endless brunch because I knew I wanted one drink, and if I dared order two we would be losing money otherwise. For my entree I chose the surf and turf eggs benedict which had pieces of lobster and filet on the english muffins along with poached eggs and hollandaise. You could choose asparagus or potatos au gratin on the side and I went with the asparagus. I was very pleased with my entree. There was a decent amount of lobster and steak, and I liked the asparagus side choice. My boyfriend went with the cajun shrimp omelet. He enjoyed it, but when I tried a bite I didn't think goat cheese went with cajun flavors at all, but I'm pretty weird about goat cheese so it was probably just my taste. I should also mention that we started with the edamame hummus. This was probably one of my favorite hummus dishes ever, The roasted tomatoes on top made it especially great. The service was good, and my bellini was replenished throughout the brunch. I was even offered another after I was done eating. I was impressed that they weren't trying to push people away after the food was gone. For the food and the value this is a really great deal. The only downside was the atmosphere was a little strange, probably because the restaurant was so empty, but I won't complain that I didn't have to wait for a great unlimited mimosa brunch. read more

I'm not the biggest fish person, but Bonefish Grill still have things to offer here. By far the best menu item I've had is the Bang Bang Shrimp. It's basically their signature dish, and rightfully so. The shrimp and well cooked and the spicy sauce on them gives it a real punch, but portion size could be bigger. Coming in at over $9, this expensive appetizer is worth it, but still wish it was less expensive. The Chicken Marsala here is good, but far from great. The chicken is juicy yet flavorless, same goes with the marsala sauce (I think they recently took this off the menu, shame). It comes with a side, which is pretty good, mainly the mashed potatoes, but nothing like a side salad comes with it. The redeeming factor for this item was that the price wasn't bad for everything you got (it was around $14). The Bang Bang Shrimp Crispy Tacos are a nice appetizer/dinner as well. The menu isn't huge, especially if you don't eat fish, but you'll be able to find a chicken or steak dish if not. Also, the fresh bread with their olive oil is another plus, simple, but really good. It is also free, which is something that is good here, especially because your bill will come out high no matter what you get here. Service here is hit or miss. One time our waitress was very nice, but extremely slow. It seemed she never came over to our table other than to bring out our food, and rarely checked up on us. I have some major problems with various parts of the atmosphere. The inside normally would easily get a much higher grade because it is nice, clean and romantic decor, problem is the layout of the seating area is so close to each other that when the restaurant is crowded you are practically eating on top of each other. No joke, the seating tables here makes a New York City subway at rush hour seem relaxing and cozy. Also another major minus for here is the internet does not work once you step inside of Bonefish Grill. For some reason at this location my phone's connection stops working all together. This has happened to all my family and friends I know who go here. The inside of the situation room at the White House has less stringent internet connections than inside of Bonefish. Usually go to the one in Coral Springs but wanted to try out the one in Boca. Terrible service. Slow and completely unaware. It wasn't busy but the servers sure acted that way. The food was tasty but my Salmon had lots of bones in it good thing the server never brought over my requested lemon, otherwise I probably would have eaten ever more of it. I had to walk around to find our her to finally pay our tab after waiting forever. If service would have been efficient we would have ordered dessert and left a generous tip, but we wanted to get out as soon as possible and we also don't want to enable young kids who want something for nothing and think that they will automatically get 20%+ just by default.
